Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

Hada arrived in front of the Demon Realm’s Gate, casually waving away several demon tribe guards by his side. He then stood before the Demon Realm’s Gate, choosing a position convenient for a quick retreat. Afterwards, he turned back and looked towards the camp in the distance that had already fallen into the chaos of battle.

The giant dragon in the sky continued its relentless rampage. The black dragon showered unlimited blaze from midair, its sharp teeth and claws ferociously tearing at the flying demon fiends gathering in the sky. Under the onslaught of the dragon, the entire Demon Clan Flight Squadron trembled!

Compared to before, the dragon was now deeper and flying lower, allowing Hada to see more clearly—this was the soul pet of Sequence Number 2!

Having confirmed the information, Hada finally breathed a sigh of relief. With this, his escape should not incur punishment from the military department... Hada thought, then looked in another direction.

There, the sound of roaring spread far and wide, the sounds of slaughter unending. However, though the sounds of battle had been ongoing for over ten minutes, there was no sign of stopping, making the situation imaginable.

The whole camp simply had no means to resolve the enemy!

Thinking of this, Hada couldn’t bear to think anymore of the camp’s fate and decisively turned away, directly diving into the interior of the Demon Realm’s Gate.

As Hada left, the demon fiends emerging from the Demon Realm’s Gate gradually decreased until they disappeared completely—seeing that nothing could be done, the Demon Tribe decisively cut off support to the Indian battlefield, needless to say, this was due to Hada.

About three minutes later, Wen Yu, in his soul state, slowly floated to the side of the Demon Realm’s Gate. Looking at the gate which had lost its function, he lightly furrowed his brow.

Just now, adapting to the combat style of soul leaving body inevitably wasted some time. It wasn’t until now that Wen Yu thought to block the Demon Realm’s Gate, but it seemed he was a step too late.

However, this was of no significance. The number of demon fiends currently in the camp was already more than enough for Wen Yu to handle. What needed to be guarded against now was merely the potential support of powerful experts from the Demon Realm’s Gate—not the newly broken through trash, but the truly strong kind.

...

The sky of the Demon Realm was eternally a shade of gray-black. The sky was strewn with hideous and terrifying cracks, as if the entire sky was on the verge of shattering.

Three dim stars hung high in the sky, emitting even dimmer light, presenting the Demon Realm with an air of desolate decay.

The dense Demonic Qi rushed to greet him, as if the air in the Demon Realm contained countless particulate matters. Even with the physique of the Demon Tribe, taking a breath in the Demon Realm made one’s throat sting. Coupled with the stench of Demonic Qi, Hada, who had just returned to the Demon Realm, immediately frowned.

”After so many good days, I’m really not used to it now...”

The good days Hada referred to were not long—at most, if stretched, around two months.

However, those two months of life on Earth left a deep impression on Hada—there, indeed, was much better than the Demon Realm!

The diverse demon tribe members continued to advance towards the colossal Demon Realm’s Gate. Seeing this scene, Hada returned to his senses and decisively called over the demon tribe members responsible for guarding the Demon Realm’s Gate—as the highest-ranking military officer stationed at the Indian battlefield’s main camp, Hada held a certain status within the Demon Tribe Army.

At least, significantly higher than these gatekeepers.

”Seal the Demon Realm’s Gate, halt support to the Indian battlefield!”

Hada’s tone was stern; however, pausing support was no small matter. Although the guards were aware of Hada’s identity, such important matters couldn’t be swayed by Hada’s words alone, or rather, Hada’s status was insufficient...

”Well...”

Seeing the guards’ troubled expressions, Hada’s face turned icy, his tone growing even harsher.

”An unexpected event has occurred at the Indian battlefield, and I returned for this matter. Do as you’re told! If you delay the major affair, be cautious as I may take your whole family’s life!”

The blatant threat represented not just the disparity in power ranks, but also the natural racial superiority of the Ancient Demon Tribe over ordinary demon tribe members!

The Ancient Demon Tribe’s status in the Demon Realm was equivalent to... no, exactly like royalty.

The guard squinted at Hada for a couple of moments, the large cyclops on his forehead flickering with an indiscernible light. After a while, the guard averted his gaze and nodded at Hada.

A sense of happiness welled up in Hada’s heart—with the intelligence of Sequence Number 2 attacking the demon main camp, coupled with the fact that he had resolutely cut off support to the Indian main camp, saving countless warriors’ lives, and adding his Ancient Demon’s identity.

Even if there was no major credit, there was, at least, some minor merit... and if he worked on it, perhaps he could avoid punishment? Or maybe even advance further?

Hada thought in delight internally.

Watching closely as the guards halted the support army flowing through the Demon Realm’s Gate and sealed the gate, Hada finally turned around and walked toward the further Demon Clan Military Department India Branch—for safety’s sake, the highest command centers of each war zone of the demon tribe are all established on the Demon Tribe’s native land.

...

Hada moved extremely fast, taking out his identity token along the way, seamlessly progressing towards the highest command post.

Only after entering the highest command post did Hada slow his steps, weaving through the complex and dim building, and in no time, reaching the command center.

Standing before the massive iron door, Hada took a deep breath, calming his nerves, before cautiously knocking on the door.
