Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 445: Chapter 336: Spectating the Drama, the Unruffled Calamity Raven Church

At this time, all the lords’ attention was focused on the battlefield outside Odu Village.

Zong Shen also took out the [Magic Energy Mechanical Falcon], released the projection, and controlled it to fly over Odu Village.

Now, it had been several minutes since the expeditionary army launched the attack, and as Zong Shen had predicted earlier, the shield of the Raven Dome was broken in less than a minute under the full assault of the expeditionary army.

The black shield dissipated, revealing the situation inside Odu Village. The [Tower of the Raven], over a hundred meters high, stood prominently and conspicuously in the village center.

The expeditionary army was divided into five parts, with Kunyel personally leading the Dragon Descendant Knight Order to attack the entrance to the village from the west.

The Blue Owl Knight Order, which came to support, was divided into two parts. Each part had five squads of Tier Three Blue Owl Cavalry, launching an attack on the village from the east and northeast of Odu Village.

Behind the Dragon Descendant Knight Order were the Dragon-kin Rangers, Mages, and Infantry Warriors of the Avalon Kingdom.

They were steadily advancing, with the Dragon-kin Rangers occasionally stopping in unison, raising their longbows to find the correct angle to shoot into the sky at an oblique angle.

Each volley fired three rounds, with 120 Dragon-kin Rangers shooting simultaneously. The arrows were truly like raindrops being shot into the sky, and then when they reached a certain angle, they started to fall down.

In this manner, three waves of continuous fire fell like a violent storm, targeting the area outside the village to the west and the entrance to the village.

With the disappearance of the Raven Dome, the situation in Odu Village was also exposed to everyone.

The entire range of over a hundred meters outside the village was dug out into trenches that blocked horses, alongside various things like spikes and obstacles.

These were just the visible ones; goblin landmines had also been buried underground.

Especially the entry paths to the village from all four directions were basically all mined.

The arrow rain shot by the Dragon-kin Rangers was aimed at these defenses and traps outside the village.

As waves of arrow rain fell, the sounds of violent explosions kept coming.

”Boom!”

”Boom!”

The goblin landmines buried on the road surface were all triggered by the arrow rain. The force of the falling arrows was not small, enough to press and explode these pressure-activated landmines.

After Kunyel regained his war intent, his combat experience came to the fore. After breaking through the Raven Dome, he led the Dragon Descendant Knight Order to patrol the perimeter, maintaining a distance of two to three hundred meters and repeatedly patrolling.

He had the Dragon-kin Rangers and siege equipment from temporary positions start clearing potential traps outside the village.

At this time, the situation was similar on the east and northeast of Odu Village. The cavalry from the Blue Owl Knight Order took out the Chain Scythes placed behind them, stayed outside the village, and swung the chain scythes forward onto the road.

The chains were over ten meters long, and as they advanced while probing with the scythes, the scythes occasionally struck a goblin landmine, triggering an explosion.

After the expeditionary army launched their attack, the church heretics in the village were not idle.

Especially the Church Heavy Armor Shooters, who began shooting at the Dragon Descendant Knight Order patrolling outside the village.

Several squads of Frost Halberd Warriors also took action. Originally, there were ten squads of Cold Crow Halberd Warriors in the village, of which two squads had been sent to the excavation site at the Burial Ground.

The remaining eight squads were stationed inside the village, with three squads heading to the east of the village and the other five squads concentrating on the west side.

They used the squads as units, activating squad skills, and forming a Great Halberd Battle Array. Each squad of twelve formed an arc formation, with their great halberds slanted outward at 45 degrees, having some scaring horses effect, capable of resisting cavalry charges.

Five squads of Cold Crow Halberd Warriors formed five arc-shaped Great Halberd Battle Arrays on the west road of the village.

These halberd warriors were also a defensive line against cavalry.

This was also the active direction of the expeditionary army. Now the Calamity Raven Church was preparing to use the main road in the village as the main defensive direction because this main road was east-west in orientation.

Moreover, it ran through the whole village, with the Tower of the Raven located in the middle of the road, so holding the road was equivalent to holding the Tower of the Raven.

As for other directions, although some small paths could lead into the village, they were all small alleys among the village dwellings, making it impossible for large troops to enter.

It didn’t matter if some scattered individuals infiltrated through the small paths because the Tower of the Raven, as the commanding height within the village, was equipped with three teams, a total of thirty-six Church Heavy Armor Shooters.

The Church Heavy Armor Shooters within the village totaled five teams, only sixty people in total.

The remaining two teams were distributed on relatively high points within the village, such as water towers and rooftops of village dwellings.

Coordinating with the heavy armor shooters in the Tower of the Raven, they formed a staggered long-range attack line.

In addition to the shooters in the tower, there were twenty-four Calamity Mages and eight Church Deacons, with Raven Saintess Shafuri personally overseeing.

At the base of the tower, a squad of Heretical Giant Power Knights was stationed, and there was another squad on the east side of the village, cooperating with the three squads of Cold Crow Halberd Warriors for defense.

On the west side of the village, there were two squads of Heretical Giant Power Knights, waiting in readiness a hundred meters behind the five squads of Cold Crow Halberd Warriors.

If the opposing side launched an assault, they would inevitably be affected by the Great Halberd Battle Array, and at that time it would be when these Heretical Giant Power Knights launched their counter-charge.
