Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 423: Chapter 325: Recruitment Scroll Used, Team Expanded

It is now just over ten minutes until the previously agreed meeting time.

The soldiers who have finished resting have started to gather one after another.

Now that the Burrow Challenge is over, the territory’s defensive requirements have significantly decreased.

Zong Shen could easily lead the entire army out, but there’s no need for that.

Firstly, the team is too disorganized. Secondly, this place is not close to Odu Village; it’s a distance of over forty kilometers. Thirdly, Zong Shen’s mission target this time is not to engage in direct combat but to fish in troubled waters.

In summary, this time Zong Shen only plans to deploy a team of under fifty people that can move quickly with light armor. Of course, before departure, a full gathering is necessary to conduct a summary and planning.

At the same time, the previously exchanged Recruitment Scrolls should be used, placing the recruited farmers and warriors directly into position.

Zong Shen is quite focused on the operation concerning Odu Village. The previous infiltration allowed him to obtain thousands of secret silver, and the wealth of the Indigenous People’s forces surpassed his imagination.

Moreover, there’s the original population of Odu Village, those seven or eight hundred villagers. They originally belonged to the village’s population, but now the village has been occupied by the Calamity Raven Church. After such a turnover, the nature of those villagers has changed.

Originally legitimate Kingdom residents, now they can only be considered refugees and captured hostages. For Zong Shen, this is a rare opportunity for population expansion.

He can seize a group of villagers under the guise of rescue and bring them back to the territory. In addition, there are the warriors of the Church Forces and Kingdom Forces. In these tumultuous times, it’s not excessive for someone like Zong to rescue ten or eight injured warriors, is it?

Aside from population and warriors, the various resources left within Odu Village and the Demon’s Soul and Demon’s Blood sought by the Calamity Raven Church are all optional targets, aren’t they?

As the saying goes, wealth is sought amid danger. If this mission is successful, it means prosperity and glory, gaining favor with either the Avalon Kingdom or the Calamity Raven Church. However, if luck is poor, it might offend both sides.

More than ten minutes quickly passed, and everyone in the territory gathered before Zong Shen.

This time, it was truly an all-hands meeting, with Wenresa and the combat team also present.

Alanna, Quete, Hoy, Dwarf Uncle, and Marie were all present.

As of now, the territory has 44 farmers, 79 warriors, and 258 Kobolds.

There are 3 Heroes, special talents, and slaves totaling 4 individuals.

The total personnel amounts to 388, including Zong Shen, making it 389. The quantity of Kobolds accounts for nearly seventy percent of the total, and once Zong Shen takes the Kobolds to the mine, the territory will feel empty.

Seeing everyone gathered, the time reached five minutes past two in the afternoon, and Zong Shen began to take out the Recruitment Scrolls.

He first took out twenty [Farmer Recruitment Scrolls (Purple)], equating to twenty Rare Level farmers. Of course, these twenty are future talent reserves for the territory.

After all, farmers are all-purpose population with infinite potential, not to mention having Rare Level talent.

Holding twenty Recruitment Scrolls filled Zong Shen’s arms. He has used many scrolls before, but never so lavishly.

He directly tossed the scrolls onto an adjacent open space and activated them. As the scrolls landed, plain black space singularities appeared, and one by one, farmers dressed plainly and of varying appearances emerged.

The recruitment of farmers is not as flashy as soldiers, seeming simple and straightforward.

One after another, they came before Zong Shen to bow and report.

”Summoned to serve!”

”Great Lord, we will endeavor to serve you!”

This seems to be a necessary oath for the recruit, and Zong Shen nodded, a smile appearing on his face.

”Very well, you are the future of the territory.”

”From now on, all of you will be under Marie’s charge, following her orders.”

Zong Shen pointed to Marie beside him, observing the farmers who were obediently nodding and agreeing.

Among these twenty farmers, eleven are male and nine are female. The gender ratio is fairly balanced, which is beneficial for the future development of the territory.

As for why Zong Shen suddenly cares about the gender ratio, he noticed that after the newbie stage, interactions among subjects, especially farmers, increased significantly, with frequent visits by male farmers to chat with Erya and Xiaoping, who manage the farmland area.

Furthermore, interactions between other male and female farmers became more frequent and close.

This marks the emergence of familial emotional awareness among the subjects. Initially, subjects seemed more like toolmen, perhaps due to initial interference by the Lord System.

Now, with increasing time passed since arrival, it becomes more realistic. This realism is not just an appearance, but includes many details.

However, as of now, this phenomenon is only evident among farmers; within the territory’s warriors, male and female soldiers remain distinct.

This might be related to the warriors’ self-discipline. Male and female warriors each do their own thing, and apart from fighting together, they don’t spend leisure time together.
