Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 427: Chapter 327: Hoy Submits, the Fourth Heroic Level Talent

As for strength and life value, the Tier Four Immortal Gun Cavalry being slightly inferior is normal.

After all, the Andalusian Warhorse is nearly a meter shorter than the Shire Horse, and the Immortal Knight’s stature is smaller than the Heretical Giant Power Knight.

But this absolutely does not prevent the Immortal Gun Cavalry from piercing their chests with a heavy lance!

After all, the Heretical Giant Power Knight is not strictly speaking a pure lancer, but a type of heavy cavalry. Besides a quasi-lance of two meters, they also have a two-handed greatsword and possess a foot combat mode, capable of fighting dismounted with still considerable power.

The Immortal Gun Cavalry, on the other hand, is a pure lancer, with the main attack method being a lance charge. The secondary weapon is a shield sword configuration, although cloaked in heavy armor, their combat ability significantly decreases once dismounted.

Suitable for plains, for strangulation of large-scale infantry enemy forces, they are easily constrained by terrain and various anti-cavalry spear soldiers and spear-shield inhibitors.

Overall, both cavalry types have their characteristics, with the Heretical Giant Power Knight being a jack-of-all-trades heavy cavalry, while the positioning of the Immortal Gun Cavalry is much clearer, with obvious advantages and disadvantages.

It’s like a war blade; how the commander uses it is crucial. If used well, it shines brilliantly, if not, the blade gathers dust and is of no real use.

But for Zong Shen, the emergence of the Tier Four Immortal Gun Cavalry precisely compensates for the shortfall in territory combat power to some extent.

That’s the inability to swiftly divide and impact the enemy’s masses when dealing with large-scale enemies.

This is the most profound point Zong Shen realized when dealing with Burrow Monsters. The Wolf Cavalry, being light cavalry, equipped with sabres, lacks the shattering impact of lancers.

When facing grouped infantry, the biggest trouble is the inability to divide the enemy, undermining the enemy’s group strength.

During the Burrow Challenge, Zong Shen relied on his Demon Deterrence to disrupt enemy groups, but if there had been a team of overwhelming heavy lance cavalry back then, the efficiency of killing Burrow Monsters could have increased several layers.

Now in Zong Shen’s team, there are light cavalry, spear and shield infantry, mages and shooters of various systems, and heavy lance cavalry. It’s just missing aerial cavalry, roving cavalry, and some support type troops.

The overall framework is gradually taking shape, and what Zong Shen needs to do next is to gradually fill the framework to form numbers and scale.

Transform from individuals to squads, and from squads to companies, or even to legions.

These Immortal Gun Cavalry consciously rode their warhorses to the back of the formation, arranged behind the Wolf Cavalry.

Now Zong Shen only has a [Tier Two Wolf Cavalry Recruitment Scroll] left, which he obtained from a points lottery gift. He just recruited it to supplement Korby into the Wolf Cavalry sequence, perfectly forming thirty-six Wolf Cavalry, neatly making up three full squads.

After all the recruitment was completed, there were 65 farmers and 129 warriors in Zong Shen’s territory, while the rest of the personnel remained unchanged.

Just as Zong Shen was about to reorganize the territory’s command, Hoy, who stood beside the Dwarf Uncle, suddenly strode out of the lineup and kneeled on one knee in front of Zong Shen.

”Lord, after spending these days together, I feel you are a strong and wise leader.”

”Living in your territory gives me a desire to devote and create, here I see hope for the future, a great cause.”

”This is a feeling I have never experienced before.”

”I request you to lift my status as a slave, so I may serve you.”

”I also want to create this miracle with you and everyone!”

Hoy knelt on one knee, his head bowed, eyes fixed on the tip of Zong Shen’s feet, a posture of submission.

[Heroic Level Talent Hoy expresses submission to you]

[Accept] [Reject]

A line of system text appeared before Zong Shen, asking him to make a choice.

This choice’s appearance meant that Hoy truly intended to submit to him, completely opening up and wanting to join Zong Shen’s ranks.

There was no real hesitation in facing Hoy’s submission request, directly choosing [Accept].

With the territory system and loyalty as assurance, Zong Shen had no fear of Hoy harboring any ulterior motives.

”Rise, I have felt your sincerity.”

”I grant your request, starting today you shed your status as a slave and become an official subject of the territory. This will be your home henceforth.”

”I know you are an excellent talent, so I will have some tasks for you.”

Zong Shen chose to accept while verbally responding.

Upon hearing this, Hoy raised his head, looking up at Zong Shen, a joyful expression on his face.

The moment Zong Shen accepted him, a flurry of information rushed into his mind, informing him of many secrets he had never encountered before.

It also made the flame of hope in his heart burn fiercely; becoming a heroic level talent under a lord naturally meant knowing some things about the lord, which for Hoy was indeed a novel experience.

Moreover, it revived the vitality in his heart, which had gradually been buried due to over ten years of monotonous work in the Gothic Castle.

”Thank you, Lord, for granting me this opportunity.”
