Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 410: Chapter 318: Sacrificial Gate, End of the Burrow Challenge

In the Calamity Raven Church, these ordinary raven birds have many functions.

They not only contribute their blood and flesh but also their souls.

They are essential auxiliary materials needed for many magic arrays and rituals in the church.

They can also bear responsibilities such as concealment, obscuration, and reconnaissance. Of course, there are instances like Deacon David just now, where they become stepping stones for the church’s success.

In this game of targeting and countering, it’s not yet clear who has the upper hand.

It can only be said that the Calamity Raven Church is far better prepared than the Expeditionary Army.

However, the Expeditionary Army still possesses considerable strength, and the real outcome will only be known after the massive battle erupts.

After Raven Saintess Shafuri made arrangements, she sat cross-legged on the top of the tower.

The ground beneath her was entirely crafted from secret silver, engraved with dense magic runes.

These runes extend in all directions and resonate with the magic runes on the tower body.

The three deacons behind her also sat cross-legged at three positions, surrounding Raven Saintess Shafuri in the center. Each deacon took out a small raven pendant from their bosom and placed it in their mouth.

They began chanting mysterious magic spells, their bodies emitting a blue, chilly glow, seemingly summoning some power from the mystical void.

The Raven Saintess Shafuri in the center of the formation exhibited a remarkable transformation. Her long hair instantly turned light blue, with strands of frost-like snow white interspersed.

Her eyes lit up directly, shining with a light blue hue.

The magic runes on the ground also lit up, and the whole Tower of the Raven emitted an awe-inspiring momentum.

The ravens swirling in the sky continuously cawed, and the outside of the tower began to glow as well.

At this moment, the Tower of the Raven seemed to become the absolute focal point of this area, incredibly eye-catching!

Inside the village, all church warriors and members turned towards the Tower of the Raven and knelt down.

Everyone, while kneeling, quietly recited the teachings of the Calamity Raven Church.

Threads of peculiar golden energy began to gather on the Tower of the Raven, which might be referred to as power of faith.

Amongst them, the power of faith from Raven Saintess Shafuri was the most substantial. As her blue hair danced above her head, hundreds to thousands of strands of golden power of faith emerged.

All the power of faith was absorbed by the Tower of the Raven.

This ritual lasted for half an hour, and the power of faith from the surroundings started becoming thin, even for Raven Saintess Shafuri.

The power of faith from each person is not endless, and the quantity of power of faith produced also varies.

This is related to each person’s talent, level of faith, degree of worship to the church deity, and understanding of the teachings. Each extraction of power of faith requires a period of interval before it can be done again.

All this power of faith was absorbed by the Tower of the Raven, finally forming a light golden teleportation gate in front of Raven Saintess Shafuri.

This serves as a means for them to communicate with the Raven Deity, and is one of the primary uses of the Tower of the Raven.

Now everything is ready, all that’s missing is a part of the Fear Demon King’s demon’s soul and demon’s blood.

Once the demon’s soul and demon’s blood are obtained, they can be cast into this light golden teleportation gate to receive Raven Spirit feedback from the Raven Deity.

Church Saintesses throughout history have been infused with Raven Spirit since childhood.

This Raven Spirit contains divine strength and can serve many purposes in the church.

Moreover, the Raven Spirit can conduct Raven Baptism on church members, nurturing more powerful church warriors, but each Raven Spirit has a limited number of baptisms, so each Raven Spirit can nurture a batch of strong warriors for the church.

The Calamity Raven Church often operates near ancient battlefields and relics across the continent, searching for powerful souls as offerings to exchange for Raven Spirits.

However, this time, they set their sights on this Burial Ground in the Avalon Kingdom, both to acquire wandering souls and to taunt the Avalon Kingdom, preparing a small-scale retaliation.

From the teleportation gate’s appearance to it becoming extremely solid, it only took three minutes.

After the teleportation gate was complete, Raven Saintess Shafuri’s eyes also returned to normal, though her hair color remained unchanged. Through the previous ritual, she not only summoned this Sacrificial Gate but also activated the dormant Raven Spirit within herself, making her even more powerful now.

The Raven Deity is adept at Frost Magic, and also possesses some calamity strength, and now Shafuri’s blood is filled with Raven Divinity leaning towards Frost Magic.

It has elevated her affinity for Frost Magic to an extremely high level.

With gestures and movement, even without relying on the Raven’s Peak Staff, she can easily manipulate Frost Magic Elements and cast Frost Magic.

Now she truly embodies the form of the Raven Saintess.

Beside her, the three deacons also rose to their feet, gazing at Raven Saintess Shafuri with eyes that became even more filled with admiration and respect.

”Lady Saintess, what should we do now?”

”Should we just wait passively for the Expeditionary Army’s attack?”
