Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 416: Chapter 321: Zong Ze’s Message, Indecision

Currently in the territory, there is one Necromancer, three Fire Mages, four Water Mages, and one Holy Light Priest.

There are a total of four types of mages, with a total of nine people. This is currently the entirety of the mages’ lineup in the territory, aside from the twelve Tier One Thunder Mage Recruitment Scrolls (green) that Zong Shen just exchanged.

Among the four types of mages, except for Water Element who temporarily cannot recruit mages with Tier Four Summoning Skills, the rest have them. This makes Zong Shen consider whether to exchange for a wave of Tier Three Water Mages.

However, the attacks of Water Magic aren’t particularly outstanding, and are rather more inclined towards support type. Trying to bet on a skill through this recruitment method offers no guarantee.

Besides these four types of mages, available for exchange among Tier Three are Wind Element, Earth Element, Thunder Element, Frost Element, Arcane Magic System.

Because Space and Time belong to relatively rare and special classifications, they are not offered for exchange here.

Among them, the Arcane Magic System is distinct from other Elemental Systems. The Arcane Magic System primarily evokes Arcane Energy, also known as Arcane Magic Power or Teleportation Energy.

It’s a peculiar energy generated under the transformation of elemental forms. If regular Magic Elements are water, then Arcane is equivalent to water vapor.

From the perspective of magic theory, it’s an element. Like other Magic Elements, one can arrange this energy using chanting spells and Spiritual Power to achieve almost all operations on the magical level.

Due to the traits of Arcane Energy, it can integrate other Magic Elements during actual usage, making Arcane Magic possess characteristics of other Magic Elements. The appearance of Arcane Energy merged with other Magic Elements will also undergo some changes, especially in the external energy glow.

Pure Arcane Energy will emit a white or purple shimmer.

Legend has it that the lineage of Blue Dragons among the Dragon Race on the continent are all top-notch Arcane Magic experts.

Beyond the dimension, there’s a place where the void surges, called the Twisted Void. It connects countless dimensions and universes, filled entirely with chaotic Arcane Energy. Because it can incorporate various other Magic Elements, including Time Magic and Spatial Magic Power, it is a unique energy that is both chaotic and neutral.

This means Arcane Mages can completely integrate other Magic Elements into the Arcane Magic Bombs they cast, such as Frost Magic, to incorporate some frost effects and traits.

However, these traits’ effects are far inferior to the spells cast by Frost Element Mages. This principle applies to other elements too, such as incorporating Fire Element for some burning effects, or Thunder Element for certain paralysis effects.

Although the related traits aren’t as good as the original, they still possess some effects, belonging to an all-purpose series.

This is why the Arcane Crystal Fragment from the Other Dimension that fell into the lake could create a large quantity of Water Elements, because of this trait of Arcane Energy.

Additionally, the reason it was drawn out and caused an explosion is due to the same reason. The Arcane Crystal’s fragment has already lost its stable energy structure. The fact that it didn’t trigger an explosion indicates that its environment is relatively stable.

Once it leaves the relatively stable environment, the chaotic energy within the Arcane Fragment will lose control, frantically evoking other magic energies, causing a earth-shattering magic explosion!

However, Zong Shen is not very clear about these situations after losing the guide hints. He can only see some simple introductions.

He thought for a while and came up with several plans, temporarily not considering Water Mages. For mages, the priority is on offensive power, especially group offensive power. Zong Shen has deeply realized this during battles these days, particularly with Fire Mages using various Tier Three Group Attack Magic, which can inflict heavy damage on a large number of enemies.

In comparison, Necromancers, Holy Light Priests, and Water Mages are inferior in this aspect.

Therefore, Zong Shen’s first plan is to exchange for seven Fire Mages, so there would be ten Fire Mages in the territory, significantly boosting group damage capability.

The second plan is to exchange for seven Thunder Mages. He himself is currently a Thunder Mage, and the power of Thunder Magic and group attack capability are not inferior to Fire Magic.

The third plan is to exchange for seven Arcane Mages, because the system information on the Arcane Mage recruitment scroll has this description: ”Hidden within unstable arcane energies are eternal secrets.” This description feels like a thorn, making it linger in his mind after reading it. Additionally, an inexplicable intuition has kept drawing his attention.

Rationally speaking, the first and second plans are undoubtedly the most prudent and suitable. However, choosing Arcane Mages always feels somewhat random.

This rare moment of indecision made him feel a level of conflict. Previously, he relied on the advantage of the guide module, never facing the dilemma of choice, always making decisions most suitable for him based on information advantage.

But now he’s truly experiencing what it means to be conflicted, whether to follow his heart or mind is a question.

”So annoying...”

Zong Shen felt a bit annoyed, so he swung his hand to temporarily close the exchange page.

He opened the [Channel] to distract himself but found the [Friends Channel] flashing with message notifications.
