Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 417: Chapter 321: Zong Ze’s Message, Indecision

”It must be a congratulatory message from Ah Ze.”

Zong Shen guessed it was likely a congratulatory message from Ah Ze, after all, after he killed the Netherworld Snake Apophis earlier, there were five golden banner full-domain messages, so it wasn’t surprising that Ah Ze knew.

Thinking of this, Zong Shen opened the [Friends Channel], and indeed there was a message from Ah Ze. The earliest one could be traced back to around one in the morning, at which time Zong Shen was resting, so he didn’t notice the message.

That message was simple, just two brief sentences and a picture.

”Brother, I’ve become stronger.”

”I have something to tell you...”

The picture was a selfie of Zong Ze, in which his hair had turned white with a faint white glow, and there were complex and mysterious purple arcane magic rune marks on his arm.

But after that remark about having something to say, there was no further message.

Quite abruptly, the next wave of messages arrived, sent around seven in the morning, coinciding with the time Zong Shen had eliminated the regional Boss.

”Brother, congratulations on successfully killing the regional challenge Boss.”

”Last night at dawn, I fully integrated into the Arcane Heart, and by this, I spied on some secrets beyond this world, but if I try to speak them out, including messages I send, they will vanish into thin air.”

”I need to obtain the full inheritance of the Arcane Spirit, only then will I qualify to touch this secret.”

”You might be busy now, seeing you so strong makes me very happy too.”

”I will definitely strive to find the inheritance of the Arcane Spirit...”

”Then we’ll fight side by side and accomplish some great and unimaginable tasks.”

Zong Shen squinted slightly upon seeing the messages from Zong Ze.

Arcane Spirit...

From the looks of Zong Ze, he seemed to have obtained some sort of inheritance or fortuitous encounter related to the arcane system.

And because of the arcane traits, he, through the power of the inheritance, gazed upon some supreme secrets ordinary lords could not know. These secrets concern profound implications, surely related to everyone’s arrival and the essence of this world, so Ah Ze couldn’t share this secret.

No wonder he had a strong premonition earlier in his heart, wanting to opt for the Arcane Mage Recruitment Scroll.

After pondering for a moment, he chose to respond in a very simple manner.

”I understand, Ah Ze. Let’s talk about certain things when we meet in the future.”

”I also have something I want to discuss with you, but it’s inconvenient over the channel.”

”If you need help, feel free to speak up. As your old brother, I’ve got your back.”

He didn’t mention the guide module because the channel essentially was part of the Lord System.

Recalling back to when he just landed, Zong Shen had also tentatively asked Zong Ze if he could see the prompts. It wasn’t ruled out that Zong Ze had already guessed he possessed the guide module.

After replying, he closed the [Friends Channel]. The two brothers would eventually meet and unravel some enigmas together.

Currently, the guide module is in hibernation, and Zong Shen kept in mind the term Arcane Spirit mentioned by Ah Ze, preparing to inquire about the specific location of the Arcane Spirit inheritance through the guide prompt once it recovered, and to relay this information to Ah Ze.

After checking the friends channel, Zong Shen opened the [Points Exchange] under [Settler Recruitment] and set his sights on the tier three section.

This time, he had an interim plan, which was to choose three [Tier Three Fire Mage Recruitment Scroll (Blue)], and then for the remaining four slots, he selected all [Tier Three Arcane Mage Recruitment Scroll (Blue)].

The exchange price for a tier three excellent-talent mage recruitment scroll was 2625 points, and he spent a total of 18,375 points on seven recruitment scrolls, combined with the points expenditure for five [Tier Three Dragon-Transformed Lance and Shield Warrior Recruitment Scroll (Blue)], Zong Shen spent a total of 29,250 points on tier three recruitment scroll exchanges.

Reckoning it, the recruitment scrolls are quite expensive, considering the full blueprint for a tier four defense arrow tower was only 3500 points; nevertheless, defense buildings are static, while warriors are living, leading to differing meanings and values they can exhibit being hard to compare.

Currently, Zong Shen’s points balance still had 199,775 points, enough for continued creations!

The next focus shifted to tier four soldiers.

Tier four magical species had the prefix of intermediate-level mages of a certain element among tier four, gaining an additional intermediate-level title.

By analogy, moving one tier up to tier five should yield a high-level title.

Tier four soldiers were considered middle-to-high-level soldiers, and many within tier four had Zong Shen drooling. Unfortunately, the redemption was limited to twelve scrolls per tier.

Currently, in the territory, the only tier four warrior was [Dark Night Female Hunter King: Luna], who reached tier four through an advanced book.

Now that the magic team at tier three had been supplemented, Zong Shen planned to consider some other kinds of soldiers among tier four.

For example, some powerful infantry, strong archers, or formidable knights.

Among them were quite a few interesting cavalry, including some neutral aerial cavalry units and various cavalry associated with church forces and organizations, naturally including the Heretical Giant Power Knights Zong Shen constantly thought about.

Plus, there were tier four flying machines from the Dwarf Race, Dragon Eagle Knights, Griffin Knights, all part of neutral aerial cavalry units.

Also, there were forces like the Lion Knight Order, Dragon Knight Order, Immortal Knight Order, Wind Rider Knight Order, Valkyrie Sisterhood, Ebony Handguard Knight Order, Phoenix Knight Order, Shadow Wolf Pack, Radiant Cross Knight Order, Twilight Knight Order, Dawn Knight Order, Crow Spear Knight Order, Falcon Knight Order, Horn Summoning Ranger Order, Silver Mist Ranger Corps, Shadow Raider Corps, Kraken Sect, Rakala Guild, Wild Thorn Tavern, Scorpion Assassin Brotherhood, Rose Knight Order, Snow Lion Knight Order, Owl Knight Order, Iron Ring Knight Order, Ice Guardian Ranger Order, Wild Boar Knight Order, Red Arrow Hunter Corps, Unicorn Knight Order, and various national and local knight orders.

In addition, there were numerous church groups, neutral groups, mysterious faction groups, guild faction groups, basically related to the Human Race, and with a complete soldier system strength, all available for choice here.

There were over a hundred factions and over a hundred soldier trees to navigate through, dazzling Zong Shen.

The most crucial point was, without guide prompts, Zong Shen could only see the brief information provided by the system.

Within so many forces, the various scales and strength characteristics were different.

But overall, the Kingdom Series had the most complete troop system, full troop, and unit types, unlike faction types that mostly had some partial focuses.

What a headache...

Actually, Zong Shen was particularly keen on cavalry among the tier four options.

He was interested in those aerial riders too.

Tier four Dragon Eagle Knights and Griffin Knights would ride ordinary dragon eagles and ordinary griffins; higher up, there were tier five enhanced aerial riders, with both the knight and the mount being much more powerful.

If he exchanged for aerial cavalry, it would be extremely beneficial for future expansion because of their unparalleled mobility advantage, useful in both reconnaissance and raids.

Besides aerial cavalry, Zong Shen was also interested in those heavy gun cavalry.

Although Heretical Giant Power Knights were heavy cavalry, they were not pure gun cavalry.

Their configuration included an ordinary lance two meters long paired with a two-handed greatsword.

Zong Shen desired heavy gun cavalry wielding a three-meter conical lance.

Here, there were quite a few choices, and the [Tier Four Immortal Gun Cavalry] from the Immortal Knight Order matched Zong Shen’s idea, equipped with a heavy lance, a kite shield, and a one-handed sword.

So now it came to the moment of indecision, whether to select the strong heavy gun cavalry or choose aerial cavalry?

”Damn, choice paralysis is such a human pain!”

”Frustrating, bothersome!”

Zong Shen scratched his head. Only children make choices; he wanted them all.

However, the exchange setting just fit perfectly.

Because twelve units could make a squad, activating the corresponding squad skills.

That’s why the number for each tier’s exchange was limited to twelve!
