Chapter 426: Chapter 326: Formidable Tier 4 Immortal Gun Cavalry

The first Immortal Gun Cavalry emerged from the singularity in space, reined in their horses, and surveyed the surroundings of the territory.

Then the second, third, fourth...

All twelve Immortal Gun Cavalry had walked out of the space singularity, and those gold and silver light cocoons vanished without a trace.

”Wow, that’s so cool!”

These Immortal Gun Cavalry were somewhat smaller in stature compared to the Heretical Giant Power Knights.

Generally standing around 1.8 meters tall, they wore circular face-covering helmets with blade styles. Sharp armor blades adorned the sides and top of their battle helmets, which had a pale gold coating, and the mouth and nose areas had holes for breathing.

Their eyes were shielded by a movable metal visor, part of the battle helmet, which could cover the eye opening for special protection in extreme situations.

Their armor was bright silver, reflective enough to mirror a person’s face, with a detachable pale gold heart guard armor. The battle armor covered the entire upper body, including the shoulders, elbows, and wrist joints, protected by armor, allowing for detachable adjustments.

The lower part was the same, with shiny leg armor and metal battle boots that clanked with a metallic collision sound when moving.

Each of them was almost fully encased in iron armor, much of the heavy cavalry’s mobility relying on their mounts.

They needed only to wear solid armor and wield sharp blades, leaving no enemy unscathed.

On the left chest of each knight was an emblem, depicting a hand holding a star-like sphere, the distinctive badge of the Immortal Knight Order.

Their horses were taller than grassland horses but not as robust as the Heretical Giant Power Knights’ Heavy Shire Horses.

These horses were almost fully armored, with additional armor on the head, neck, body, hindquarters, and hooves. The specially designed battle helmet featured a 40-centimeter metal ridged unicorn horn.

Moreover, two 60-centimeter short blades extended from either side of the horse’s hindquarters.

Like small wings, the blades narrow at the front and widen at the back, thick enough to ensure they wouldn’t break during a fierce charge that might slash through enemy armor.

Due to the horse’s height, these short blades were at the neck level of an average-height person, and there was a chance they might decapitate an enemy.

On the right side of the horse was a rack specifically for mounting a lance, with a three-meter-long conical heavy lance placed on it, entirely conical, with the front two meters protruding in front of the horse’s head. At about 2.7 meters, there was a 30-centimeter lance handle.

The cavalry also carried a kite-shaped cavalry shield and a one-handed long sword on their backs.

Around the waist saddle hung a chain as thick as a thumb.

The overall design conformed well to the standards of heavy cavalry.

Zong Shen especially liked the extended conical lance.

As a seasoned owner of such lances, he knew how satisfying it was to thrust with a lance of such length and thickness.

After emerging from the space singularity, the Immortal Gun Cavalry began to align and then dismounted their steeds.

Their full metal heavy armor made their movements somewhat stiff, but their walking speed was acceptable.

As they moved, the shell-like joint armor constantly shrank and expanded, producing a jingling sound.

Just like that, they came before Zong Shen, knelt on one knee in a line, took off their battle helmets and placed them beside their feet, and then with their right hands clasped in fists, gently placed them on their left chests, saluting him and reporting.

The daily life of heavy armored knights was quite inconvenient, and even performing a grand salute was more cumbersome than for other warriors.

After removing their helmets, Zong Shen found that this group of cavalrymen were all rough men, mostly with beards, exuding a mature male aura.

It wasn’t that the Immortal Knight Order favored men over women, but heavy cavalry did have some physical requirements that only these rugged men could meet for charging into battle.

”Respected Lord!”

”Immortal Gun Cavalry Cecilia/Ron/Bradley/Luke...”

”Report to you, great Lord, may your glory be immortal!”

Zong Shen’s gaze glanced over each cavalryman, nodding with satisfaction.

”Rise, your lance and iron hooves will become the invincible sword of the territory.”

”An excellent knight should be on horseback, not on the ground...”

After completing the necessary oath process for recruiting warriors and hearing Zong Shen’s words, all the cavalrymen rose upon hearing and mounted their horses.

Zong Shen took the opportunity to start examining their attributes.

The Immortal Gun Cavalryman on the far side was named Cecilia, distinguished by a dense handlebar mustache, making him particularly noticeable.

Zong Shen directed his gaze at him, and his detailed attributes began to appear before his eyes.

(The brave and tenacious Immortal Gun Cavalry, strictly trained by the Immortal Knight Order, wielded lances of unparalleled might, paired with tenacious and brave armored Andalusian warhorses, their lance-wielding confidence challenged any enemy to charge.)

Overall, these attributes were very satisfactory to Zong Shen, especially the piercing damage, which was incredibly high.

Although the Life Value, Strength Attribute, and parts of the defense were inferior to the Heretical Giant Power Knights, this was also related to level and traits.

The Heretical Giant Power Knights of the Calamity Raven Church were already over level thirty.

Purely looking at piercing damage, the level ten Immortal Gun Cavalry was more powerful than the level thirty-plus Heretical Giant Power Knights!
