Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 424: Chapter 325: Recruitment Scroll Usage, Team Expansion

Of course, it’s a good thing that the subjects have emotions. In the future, they can freely fall in love and form families, thus propagating the next generation, which is an inevitably benevolent cycle.

As for the warriors, there isn’t much of an issue. Emotions are mutual and free, and there are many female warriors in the territory now, among whom he is more familiar with the previous few.

He supports the idea of his subjects freely falling in love in the future, and even forming families. However, those few who are related to him, others cannot touch.

These newly recruited farmers look very young and appear much more presentable than the other farmers in the territory. Just by their appearance, one can see the gap in talent.

Zong Shen called Marie over, letting her be responsible for interfacing with these newly recruited individuals, leading them into the ranks. Originally, the farmers were under the management of San Pang, but these guys might be hard for him to handle, as San Pang only has excellent level talent.

After recruiting the farmers, the total number in the farmer ranks reached 64 people, almost increasing by half.

Next is the recruitment scroll for those soldiers, starting from the first tier. Zong Shen took out twelve Tier One Thunder Element Apprentice Mage Recruitment Scrolls (green) and threw them into the open space, activating them simultaneously.

Azure electric arcs flickered, twelve spatial singularities emerged, and, among the flickering arcs, one figure after another walked out from them.

Among these apprentice mages, there are seven males and five females, dressed in simple blue cloth robes, without any patterns or badges.

They wield a Withered Wood Staff, the poorest quality of staff, with quality lingering between broken and ordinary, made from ordinary Magic Spirit Wood that can hold some magic power, engraved with some simple magic runes. A single ordinary Magic Spirit Tree can produce hundreds of such Withered Wood Staffs.

Each apprentice mage is very young, with a slightly childish look on their faces, appearing about the same age as Marie, perhaps even younger and less mature than Marie.

They timidly observed their surroundings, stunned for a few seconds before remembering their mission, and humbly saluted Zong Shen.

”In the name of the Thunder God!”

”The Thunder Element Apprentice Mages... report to you!”

The apprentice mages said in a tender voice, and to Zong Shen, these guys seemed almost like a Boy Scout troop.

”Very good, I hope you will grow vigorously along with the territory.”

...

Zong Shen impulsively said something like that, feeling like a sincere teacher.

He glanced at these apprentice Thunder Element mages, among whom a ponytailed young girl seemed a bit more mature and had mastered two magic skills, so Zong Shen planned to appoint her as the squad leader of these apprentice mages.

Their attributes are almost identical. Each one mastered one or two skills.

The standard skill is a tier one attack magic, Thunder Light Arrow.

It consumes 30 mana, with a chanting time of 3 seconds, emitting a Thunder Light Arrow that inflicts 1.5x magic damage on the target and causes a 0.75-second paralysis effect.

The apprentice mages with a second skill are relatively few. Among the twelve, only two mastered dual skills, with one being the ponytailed girl named Betty, whose second skill is Thunder Shield, which consumes mana to create three constantly revolving thunder shields on oneself or allies’ bodies.

Not only can it block damage, but it also inflicts a bit of a paralysis effect on enemies who engage in close combat, making it a more support-oriented magic skill.

The other apprentice who comprehended dual skills also had a similar skill.

Apprentice mages are essentially mages who have just stepped into the door. The magic they can master is quite limited.

Zong Shen was mentally prepared for this; as long as they can release attack magic like Thunder Light Arrow, that would be sufficient; nothing else would be required. If worst comes to worst, they can act as ”power banks” for the Thunder Domain Miracle or the Red Gold Barrier Pillar.

These two buildings, besides using Magic Energy Crystals for charging, can also allow mages to input magic to charge, then recover through meditation, saving Magic Energy Crystals.

The energy contained in Magic Energy Crystals is somewhat different from mana, but the general principle remains the same. Powerful buildings can often store both mana and magic energy value and exhibit identical effectiveness.

”Alright, you may join the ranks now.”

”In the future, the Thunder Element Apprentice Mage squad will be under Betty’s management.”

Zong Shen casually instructed and then let them fall into the territory’s ranks.

Next are the Tier Two Warrior Recruitment Scrolls. Zong Shen previously chose the Tier Two Rodok Crossbowman Recruitment Scroll (green), a type of ranged warrior from the Rodok Kingdom.

It’s said that high-tier Rodok shooters are claimed to have continent-leading combat strength, especially proficient in siege defense.

He wondered how capable these Tier Two crossbowmen would be?

Zong Shen didn’t hesitate long, throwing them all onto the clearing and choosing to recruit.

Spatial singularities formed one by one, and emerging from them were crossbowmen carrying strong crossbows, wearing light armor, and bearing the Rodok Kingdom’s badge on their battle armor.

Each one appeared spirited, with piercing eyes like an eagle’s.

They approached Zong Shen to salute and pledge allegiance. These crossbowmen indeed seem stronger than Avalon’s light crossbowmen, of course partly due to their good talents.

The damage of these Tier Two Rodok crossbowmen surpasses that of the light crossbowmen, and their skills are also different.

They possess an active skill of Armor-Piercing Shot and a passive skill of Crossbow Arrow Damage Bonus.

Overall, their attributes are pretty good, enough to bolster the territory’s long-range combat strength.

After saying a few polite words, Zong Shen integrated them into the ranks.

”Wenresa, from now on, these Rodok crossbowmen will be under your command.”

Upon hearing this, Wenresa stepped out of the ranks, bowed, and guided these newly joined crossbowmen into the ranks.

After Tier Two, the recruitment scrolls for Tier Three began.

Five Dragonized Spear and Shield Warriors, three Fire Mages, and four Arcane Mages.

Zong Shen sped up the process and recruited them all in one go.

He allocated the five Dragonized Spear and Shield Warriors into the Dragon-Transformed Spear and Shield Squad, which now had 12 members, successfully activating a squad skill.

Dragon Transformation Barrier lv10 (Twelve Dragonized Spear and Shield Warriors raise shields to initiate a Dragon Transformation Barrier, creating a shield covering a 100-meter area, possessing 30,000 durability, 60 durability value, and magic resistance, lasting for 10 minutes, with a cooling time of 30 minutes. If not broken when the duration ends, the shield converts remaining durability into a healing effect for the health of allies within range in a 3:1 ratio)

This is a group attack skill.

The three Fire Mages, two women and one man, were immediately incorporated into the troop under the guidance of Favide.

Among these three, two had fire dragon tornado skills and one had fire rain, which weren’t particularly special skills.

These Arcane Mages wore gray-white magic robes decorated with a pattern resembling chaotic clouds.

Of the coming group, each one had learned 3-4 skills.

Of the three skills, the first is a Tier One attack magic, Thunder Light Arrow.

It consumes 30 energy, has a chanting time of 3 seconds, and sends out a Thunder Light Arrow that deals 1.5 times magic damage to the target and causes a 0.75-second paralysis effect.

The second skill is mastered by fewer Apprentice Mages, and among these twelve apprentices, only two had dual skills. The ponytail girl named Betty was one, and her second skill was a Thunder Shield that consumes a certain amount of magic value to create three continuously revolving thunder shields on oneself or an ally.

It can block damage and also inflict minor paralysis effects on enemies who attack at close range, making it a support-type magic skill.

The Arcane Apostles were wearing grayish-white magic robes, with a symbol resembling chaotic clouds on them.

There was nothing special about the first three skills they all mastered, which were pretty much the same, but that fourth summoning skill piqued Zong Shen’s interest.
