Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 437: Chapter 332: Laying Down Contingencies, Tunneling In [Requesting Monthly Votes]

Other than the Avalon Knight Order and the Dragon-kin Rangers, those Strong Strike Swordsmen, Earth Mages, and Water Mages all made Zong Shen quite envious.

Of course, there was also that small squad standing at the front, continuously waving their magic staffs to summon dark red Dragon Flame Bombs, the Dragon Language Mages.

Although Zong Shen couldn’t see their specific attributes from the projection, with his rich experience accumulated over these days, just by looking at their attire and equipment, he could almost accurately guess the tier of the soldiers.

Now he controlled the Mechanical Falcon, looking at the projection screen with anxiety.

As long as the Expeditionary Army and the Church Heretics did not break into full-scale combat, he wouldn’t have a suitable opportunity to act.

After all, a bottle of [Transformation Potion] can only last for 30 minutes, and even if disguised to sneak in, a suitable opportunity must be chosen.

Continuing to fight in such a lukewarm manner, who knows when they will be able to break through that black shield over Odu Village.

Zong Shen observed for a while longer, and seeing that there was no immediate change in the situation, he directed the Magic Energy Mechanical Falcon to fly upwards and took a patrol around Odu Village.

This time, he discovered many traces of lords, gathering in groups of three or five and waiting within two to five kilometers around Odu Village.

A kilometer north from Zong Shen’s position was a group of lords watching both Odu Village and Zong Shen.

Their position and terrain were slightly higher than where Zong Shen was situated.

There was a small river about ten meters wide, flowing from north to south, which narrowed into a creek further south.

And this group of lords was positioned in the middle of the stream, hiding behind some large rocks on the riverbank.

These rocks were clearly washed down from the upstream mountains during the rainy season with abundant precipitation.

The sources of the streams in this plain mostly originate from the northern mountains.

Some streams would wash down rocks from the mountains to the downstream riverbanks.

At this moment, these folks were using the terrain to sneakingly watch Zong Shen, occasionally pointing and gesturing, seemingly having guessed Zong Shen’s identity as the strongest lord in the area.

Goodness, the density of lords near Odu Village is too high; Zong Shen doesn’t like being watched by others as it would affect his subsequent actions.

So he beckoned the Mechanical Falcon back, pulled out the small [Stand-in Puppet (Purple)] and tied it to the back of the Falcon, then sent it flying towards the east where Wenresa and her group were stationed, lowering in height to appear before Wenresa.

He simultaneously took out the Communication Crystal to contact Wenresa, asking her to remove the [Stand-in Puppet] from the Falcon’s back.

He instructed Wenresa to hide the puppet in a concealed spot nearby and to ensure that no one was spying around to keep the puppet’s location safe and hidden.

This [Stand-in Puppet] was something Zong Shen acquired with the last 500 points at the second round of the Points Lottery.

It allows for one position swap between the puppet and the main body within a ten-kilometer radius, serving as a lifesaving utility in crucial moments.

After arranging this contingency, Zong Shen had the Mechanical Falcon return to him and put it away.

Given the current situation, there was no longer any need to stay and observe, as Zong Shen didn’t like being spied upon.

He mounted Pigsy, leading his squad towards the western direction of Odu Village. From the previous reconnaissance, he noted that there was an area without lord occupancy, and he also recalled an important piece of information there.

The lords who had ambushed behind the riverbed rocks to the north hesitated before ultimately deciding not to follow.

They were mainly concerned about provoking Zong Shen.

In fact, everybody gathered here for the same reason, all scheming for the resources and population of Odu Village.

Among the lords, basic resources equate to wealth, and the more farmers there are, the more basic resources can be collected each day.

Now in the [Market], most items can be purchased using basic resources.

Population represents basic resources, especially farmers, as each additional farmer contributes dozens to hundreds more basic resource units collected daily, elevating the status of farmers to be akin to moneymakers in the eyes of the lords.

Zong Shen also greatly needed farmers, but he had more far-reaching goals.

For him, whether the farmers collect resources was secondary, as he valued accumulating the territory’s basic population more.

Only by accumulating enough population can the territory quickly move onto the development track.

Zong Shen rode on Pigsy, leading the Immortal Gun Cavalry Squad and the Wolf Cavalry Squad from the north of Odu Village, heading west, unknowingly attracting some stealthy and subtle gaze of lords along the route.

Zong Shen didn’t mind this as he pushed forward full speed, exuding an aura of ”Do Not Disturb.”

The Lance Cavalry Squad following him wasn’t to be trifled with; at this stage, no lord in the region could withstand a charge from the Immortal Gun Cavalry Squad.

Seeing his aggressive, ”Do Not Disturb” demeanor, the other lords extinguished the small flickers of desire in their hearts.

If it were other lords, perhaps they might harbor a fluke, but who is this gentleman?
