Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 443: Chapter 335: Demonstration and Guidance, The Show Begins

The speed of the Andalusian warhorse reaches up to 7 points.

While the speed of an ordinary Avalon prairie horse is only 5 points at best.

Even clad in heavy armor and bearing fully armed knights, the speed of the Andalusian warhorse remains swift.

They quickly approached the outskirts southeast of the village, which was one of the Church’s heavy-armored shooters’ blind spots for attacks.

For Zong Shen, who had recently entered Odu Village and dug out half of the magic array within, he was already thoroughly familiar with the defense positions within the entire village.

The main ranged forces of the church heretics within Odu Village consisted of church heavy-armored shooters and calamity mages.

The most numerous among them were the heavy-armored shooters, whose strength was comparable to that of Dragon-kin Rangers.

There were still quite a few attack blind spots in various directions within the village.

Zong Shen sat behind Cecilia, guiding the Immortal Gun Cavalry Squad to the southeast side of Odu Village.

The cavalry drew their war swords one after another and began slashing at the shield.

Wave after wave of damage emerged, and with the addition of just twelve cavalry, the durability value of the Raven Dome began to rapidly decrease, with each second yielding a round of damage.

After slashing continuously for half a minute, they managed to inflict more than ten thousand points of extra damage to the dome shield.

Zong Shen was never one to linger in battle; estimating that the time was about right, he patted Cecilia on the back. Cecilia let out a light whistle, leading the cavalry squad swiftly away from Odu Village.

Behind them, arrows were shot fiercely from the Raven Dome, aiming at the Immortal Gun Cavalry Squad, yet they ultimately fell short, landing only behind them.

As the warhorses accelerated once more, the cavalry squad retreated to a kilometer outside Odu Village, far away from the range of the church heavy-armored shooters.

Under Zong Shen’s command, the cavalry squad circled from the southeast of Odu Village to the northeast, swiftly maneuvering to the northeast corner of the village, arriving next to the dome shield for another round of frenzied slashing with their knight swords.

This time, the duration was even longer than the previous one, lasting nearly a minute before Zong Shen signaled Cecilia to lead the withdrawal, inflicting more than twenty thousand durability damage on the Raven Dome this time.

Arrows once again littered the ground behind them, the act being one of precision, not causing much damage but extremely insulting.

Each knight dealt a blow, and even after the shield’s armor value was reduced, each dealt fifty to sixty points of damage, amounting to six to seven hundred points per round for twelve knights.

According to Zong Shen’s tactics, even with stop-and-go maneuvers, it would take less than half an hour to break through the Raven Dome.

This was merely a single squad, while under Kunyel’s command, there were two cavalry squadrons, yet he chose such a foolish method of direct bombardment.

Zong Shen replicated this strategy by launching an attack north of Odu Village, then circled back from the north to the west, returning to the front lines of the expeditionary army.

This maneuver consumed a substantial amount of the Raven Dome’s durability value; given the current situation, it would take only another twenty minutes of bombardment to break it.

”My lord, you see, the method is actually very simple.”

”These church heretics have limited forces, and they simply can’t defend all the positions of Odu Village.”

”The most important point is that they are in the village, while we are outside.”

”Compared to them, we have a much larger area in which to maneuver.”

Zong Shen advised persuasively as a competent mastermind; he needed to nudge Kunyel to launch an attack as soon as possible.

He silently calculated the duration of the transformation potion in his mind; there were about ten minutes left before the potion’s effects wore off. He had to have Kunyel lead the expeditionary army in a full-scale assault within this timeframe.

Listening to Zong Shen, Kunyel was also moved; Zong Shen’s previous performance had indeed set a good example, which rekindled his resolve.

Reflecting on his previous performance, it was simply disgraceful; as a knight captain, he seemed to have forgotten the bravery of his past.

True knights dare to sweep away all enemies, even in a situation where the enemy is stronger and they are weaker, they can fearlessly charge forward. That’s why Captain Harold and those Dragon Descendant Knight Order warriors, despite facing the ferocious Evil Dragon Bolkeiser, dared to attack.

Thinking of this, Kunyel felt a pang of shame; in this instance, he had indeed been intimidated throughout by the Calamity Raven Church, the more unusual their actions, the more doubtful he became.

He found himself caught in a cycle of self-doubt, yet the situation was quite straightforward—act and it would be over.

Staying indecisive and stagnant would only lead to being slowly picked off by the church heretics. If the expeditionary army went all out, even if the Calamity Raven Church was prepared, they wouldn’t be able to destroy them easily.

After all, the expeditionary army brought a considerable force this time, and even if the enemy had some advantages, it would take a tough battle to completely overwhelm them.

Continuing to hesitate was the real trap from the opponents.

Kunyel instantly understood a lot; as he aged, the fiery courage of his youth was gradually fading, and the courage and honor of a knight were slowly declining.

He suddenly reached out and opened the movable visor of his face-covering helmet, looking at Zong Shen with a determined gaze.
