Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 241: Chapter 233: A Tragic Past, Two-headed Hellhound

After completing the take-off preparations, the Horned Eagle sped up quickly.

In the air, both maneuverability and acceleration were more impressive than the Goblin Airship.

This was Zong Shen’s first time riding a flying mount, so he found it very novel.

Under Wenresa’s control, the Horned Eagle Beast quickly ascended, soaring vertically into the sky a thousand meters high.

Finally, it glided into a beautiful hover mid-air, and with a slight pause, Zong Shen’s body involuntarily leaned forward. His temple lightly brushed against Wenresa’s Elf Pointed Ears, his upper body bumped into the Green Patterned Armor under the cloak, but his lower body touched two plump and elastic places.

Wenresa’s body trembled slightly, the air filled with a mature charm, like a ripe peach hanging high in summer, swaying gently in the breeze, its sweet scent wafting through the air.

”Wow, no wonder there’s a charm that’s been accumulating for over ten thousand years...”

”Those rounded headlights, the well-maintained engine, the cushioning rear bumper...”

Zong Shen was momentarily dazed but didn’t move his body. He could feel through the sides of his legs that Wenresa’s body temperature was gradually rising.

”Ahem... My lord...”

Wenresa coughed softly, feeling that something suppressed for over ten thousand years was trying to break through her defenses like a torrent, which was somewhat shameful for a hero.

She also felt puzzled by her changes. As a powerful Heroic Level figure, suppressing desire and keeping her mind clear was no difficulty, but this time was unusual.

When Zong Shen heard her cough, he snapped back to reality. He scratched his head awkwardly and shifted his butt backward. Some things can be held back, but some truly cannot!

To ease the awkward atmosphere, he started to look around below.

At a thousand meters high, the moon and stars appeared clearer, casting a particularly serene light over the earth.

If not for the large areas of wandering shadows on the ground, this scene would indeed have a certain artistic conception.

The earth was dotted with specks of light, these lights were so conspicuous at night, all belonging to those Lords’ territories, laid out clearly under the night sky.

Zong Shen glanced briefly, within a ten-kilometer range of his territory, there were a dozen or so territories. On the flat ground, due to terrain undulations and obstructions, those small territories were hardly noticeable and not easy to discover.

But now everything was exposed, although some territories might not be lit up, possibly engaging in night battles under cover of darkness.

Zong Shen looked around, understanding in his mind, then leaned close to Wenresa’s pointed ear and whispered.

”Let’s go back.”

Wenresa just felt a breath of heat brushing over her ear, making her ear feeling numb, and her heart followed suit, just nodding gently.

She felt wrong when alone with Zong Shen and wanted to return to the ground quickly, lift her Battle Bow and shoot Sharp Arrows into the heads of the Burrow Monsters.

That was her correct way of operating, not like this...

Her body was honest, but her mind still didn’t give up resisting.

Tonight there was no wind, even at a thousand meters high the airflow was very stable. Since the newbie stage ended and there was a good rain, the days that followed were all clear skies.

No one would have thought that the noble and cool Wenresa Windrunner would also have a time when she was awkward and shy.

Wenresa maneuvered the Horned Eagle Battle Beast to land at the frontline position, steadily without a hitch.

Upon landing, she leapt lightly from the back of the Horned Eagle Beast, came forward, and touched its antlers.

Zong Shen also leaped down, agile in posture, without any unusual expression, his exploration team warriors and Wolf Rider Squad One were hunting those Burrow Monsters around the Burrow Frontline.

Especially Favide, who, with the help of Wolf Rider Squad One, was frantically casting Fireball Magic.

Orange Fireballs dragged bright trails and were continuously shot out, blasting bursts of Sparks, dazzling and spectacular in the night.

Luna, however, did not move, but stood to the side, watching Zong Shen and Wenresa with interested eyes, bathing freely under the Moonlight, as holy as a lake beneath the moon.

Luna and Wenresa were old acquaintances, and even according to the Elf Race’s internal titles from over ten thousand years ago, she might even have to address Wenresa as General.

As for Zong Shen, he was her lord in this life, the man to whom she had sworn allegiance and fought alongside. Watching two people with such different backgrounds spark a connection, Luna found it very interesting.

Wenresa’s background had a tragic coloring; her husband Luo Ning was a great Mage, who once led the reconstruction of the City of Magic and was the Grand Mage of the city.

Luo Ning went to Seara to assist in defending against the Blood-Burning Demon’s attack. At the last moment of the Arcane Crystal explosion, he pushed others into the Teleportation Gate, while he remained forever in the ruins of Seara.

Luna had heard of this. Afterward, Wenresa seemed to have changed, living in hatred daily, almost becoming a being of revenge, dressed in a black cloak with signs of turning dark, until they signed mysterious contracts and were sealed in the Other Dimension, when all finally calmed.
