Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 234: Chapter 229: Command Arrangements and Logistics Reorganization

Marie obediently followed behind him, and when Zong Shen stopped at the door, she also halted.

She stood quietly just half a body length away from Zong Shen.

This positioning actually had its own significance, representing Marie’s true submission to Zong Shen.

Right there, Zong Shen took out the Communication Crystal and simultaneously contacted those within the territory who possessed a crystal.

This included Wenresa, Korby, San Pang, and others, each temporarily handling a specific aspect of the territory’s management, such as San Pang, who was previously in charge of part of the territory’s logistical work.

For instance, managing food and living supplies, coordinating and arranging the work of farmers, San Pang’s talent is decent, and he is fairly diligent, but ultimately not a Heroic Level talent, so many territory functions cannot be used, nor does he have Lord Level passive skills.

So San Pang can only serve as a deputy but cannot be entrusted with heavy responsibilities.

While Zong Shen was calling other Communication Crystals, he also shouted a few times at the courtyard entrance.

The farmers on duty, kobolds, and the warriors of the exploration team all gathered around.

Even San Pang came over while answering the Communication Crystal.

After the Wolf Rider Captain Korby, who was leading a patrol of the territory, and Wenresa, fighting at the front line, both connected to the crystal, Zong Shen solemnly began to announce.

”Now I want to announce something major.”

”From now on, all logistical and construction work in the territory will be handled by Marie.”

”San Pang will serve as Marie’s deputy, assisting her in completing the territory’s overall coordination work.”

Zong Shen announced swiftly, and no one felt too surprised, after all, Marie, as the third Heroic Level character in the territory, was also the most suitable for the logistical role, as long as her character was not too flawed, she would basically be entrusted with important tasks by Zong Shen.

Seeing that no one had any objections, Zong Shen immediately added.

”Now, including San Pang, there are a total of 34 farmers in the territory, all of whom will be under Marie’s command.”

”Additionally, 5 Assassins and 2 Goblin Rippers will also be under Marie’s command.”

”The Wolf Cavalry will still be led by Korby as the Captain and need to follow Marie’s orders, while Wolf Rider Squad One will act as the mobile unit, with Squad Two and the temporarily incomplete Squad Three serving as the territory’s patrol unit.”

Zong Shen quickly arranged for all the farmers and a portion of the forces to be under Marie’s command, further enhancing the professionalism of the warrior divisions, and freeing up some of his and Wenresa’s command value for future new warrior recruits.

Now Marie’s command value has changed from 0 to [49/133], with the remaining 84 command points reserved for future new farmers.

(The Gold Diggers hanging, the captured Blade Armor Assassins)

Zong Shen is responsible for commanding a total of 32-person Wolf Cavalry team, the exploration squad, and the Dwarf Uncle, occupying a total of 60 command points, his current command value is [60/140], leaving a particularly ample 80 command points unused.

Wenresa commands the front-line combat squad and the backup squad except for the two Goblin Rippers, occupying 31 command points, now her level has reached lv20, adding 17 command points, her command value has become [31/67].

The inclusion of the Kobold Hero Dutra and the addition of Marie resulted in Zong Shen and Wenresa having quite a bit of command points freed up, Dutra having high command value for kobolds, and Marie solved the command issues for farmers, assassin groups, and the two Goblin Rippers.

With the remaining principal combat soldiers distributed between Zong Shen and Wenresa, everything could be easily commanded, with some command points left over for future use.

After announcing Marie’s appointment and handling the command arrangements, Zong Shen gave a few more instructions before disconnecting the Communication Crystal, allowing everyone to rest.

He led Marie to the [Market], where he taught her how to list and purchase items.

The 8 batches of iron listed in the morning were all sold out by the end of the day.

The listed 8 batches of iron ore, totaling 2400 units, were exchanged for 6000 units of other basic resources.

Among them, wood and stone were the most, accounting for 2500 and 2000 units, respectively, with the remaining 1500 units being hemp.

The basic resources in the territory currently include [Wood ×5388], [Stone ×4424], [Iron ×57864], [Ma ×4463], [secret silver ×3693]. This amount of resources is regarded as extremely wealthy among the Lords.

Especially the quantities of iron and secret silver, which are particularly vast. Previously, Zong Shen managed to obtain nearly 3200 pieces of secret silver from Odu Village, and gave 300 pieces to Jiang Yi. Including the more than 700 pieces that were originally in the territory, there are now over 3600 pieces remaining.

What he gifted Jiang Yi was just a drop in the ocean compared to the total amount. However, for Jiang Yi or other Lords, 300 pieces of secret silver is still a valuable asset, more than enough to help Jiang Yi solve many problems and exchange for other resources or blueprints.

Nowadays the [Market] building has almost become a standard fixture for every surviving Lord.

At least 70% of the Lords have successively unveiled their own [Market], making the entire trading market much more prosperous than before. The prices in trades have also become more rational, with various resources and materials being the most traded commodities, followed by food.

The era when one could use [Moon Holy Water] to exchange for precious Recruitment Scrolls and blueprints is gone forever. However, it is still very easy to use it to exchange for basic resources.

Many high-end Lords have a great demand for [Moon Holy Water]. It’s currently unmatched by most potions with its 1 to 3 ratio of life recovery effect combined with magic recovery effect. Given the effectiveness, Moon God Spring Water offers a great cost-performance ratio, especially considering that other potions aren’t exactly cheap.

For high-end Lords, using the basic resources they have on hand to exchange for such combat supplies is a very worthwhile endeavor, as the returns in exploration and combat far exceed what basic resources could offer.

Zong Shen guided Marie step by step to list 8 sets totaling 2400 pieces of iron on the market in exchange for other resources, while reminding her to buy any suitable priced building blueprints that they need in the [Market] in the future.

The market now has a wide variety of items, including Recruitment Scrolls, rare building blueprints, rare equipment, and tools, almost everything, but the prices for these items are also not low.

However, with endurance to frequently visit the market and wait patiently, there is still a certain chance to snag a bargain.

After leaving the [Market], Zong Shen took her to the [Territory Technology Research Institute], instructing her to focus the upcoming technology upgrade efforts on city defense.

As for other matters like the placement of buildings, Marie would check on her own. As long as there were no excessively outrageous errors, Zong Shen would not interfere. Besides, there are still quite a few buildings that have not been constructed yet.

Some are because of insufficient materials, while others are because they are temporarily not useful. In any case, these would all be handled by Marie in the future.

Finally, Zong Shen took out the [Vitality Vine Wood Box (Purple)], placed the remaining seeds in the Vine Wood Box, and handed it over to Marie to keep.

This Vine Wood Box can play an important role in the territory’s future agricultural development, enhancing the power of any plant seeds to a certain degree. Of course, the tier of those seeds cannot exceed Rare Level, as the Rare Level Vine Wood Box has almost no effect on Rare Level seeds.

Even so, the function of this Vine Wood Box is still significant, offering a certain enhancement when seeds of crops are placed inside, speeding up their growth and making them more productive.

Zong Shen briefly familiarized Marie with the daily duties and tasks. Normally, when he is not in the territory, the experience share from patrol warriors and defensive kills will also belong to Marie, ensuring that her level does not fall behind.

After dealing with these things, Zong Shen let Marie have some free time.

He still has other matters to handle. Besides the two Gold Diggers who were tied up, there is also a Blade Armor Assassin captured from Sangui Yingshu, who has never been willing to submit.

The Blade Armor Assassin was an original die-hard loyal to Sangui Yingshu. Even though Sangui Yingshu is dead, he is still unwilling to submit. Now, he’s bound hand and foot, detained in the territory for several days, and needs to be fed two meals a day.

Deciding what to do with these three is also a problem; they are neither willing to submit nor can they be made to fight or work, as obstinate and foul as stones in a latrine.

Killing them seems like a waste, but not killing them is troublesome; keeping them tied like this is of no value.

It’s really a headache for Zong Shen. Unfortunately, such recruited warriors cannot be listed for sale. Otherwise, Zong Shen might have considered selling them. It made him regret recruiting them. Had he known how troublesome the Gold Diggers would be, he would have taken the Recruitment Scrolls straight to the market for a trade, which would have been delightful.

Now they truly are burdens on his hands, tasteless to eat yet a pity to discard.

Zong Shen pondered for a while yet still couldn’t come up with a way to deal with the three, so he shook his head and walked towards the Blacksmith Shop.

Zong Shen had previously used points to exchange for a batch of arrows. Now, the Dwarf Uncle is liberated to use both hands, spending half a day forging equipment and half a day researching the [Heavy Combat Puppet].

The busy work schedule even made him neglect drinking. Now, Communication Crystal number 5 is in the hands of the Dwarf Uncle, who will be responsible for its modification, using the Communication Crystal as a power node for the Magic Energy Core.

Once modified successfully, dialing the number 5 crystal will activate the puppet. At that time, it can be placed among monsters and remotely activated to let it fight on its own.

As for the combat time, it can be adjusted using the infused magic energy. When the magic energy is exhausted, it can be safely salvaged. Although it doesn’t compare to an intact combat puppet, it still can be of use.

Especially for dealing with Burrow Challenges with clustered enemies, the frenzied combat puppet is bound to play a significant role!
