Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Chapter 336: Chapter 5: Scheming Motives

While Adam and Rock were discussing.

In Jamie’s room.

Kaelian sat casually on the sofa, creating a large dent in it.

Jamie sat on the opposite chair, thoughtfully watching a video on his phone.

It was a video of Chen Wen surviving in the Sonora Desert.

”How was tonight’s harvest?”

Kaelian asked Jamie in the local dialect.

”Very rich, I even saw an Oriental person more mysterious than the priest in our tribe.”

Jamie said with great admiration, ”He can control animals to survive, he is the biggest threat this time!”

Kaelian nodded, ”Yes, in the Caprivi, controlling animals is akin to having nuclear weapons, make sure not to face him alone. Once we land, find me quickly, I’ll be stationed near the landing point.”

Jamie nodded in agreement.

Kaelian continued to ask, ”Do you have any partners?”

”No, Adam and Rock are too dangerous, they have the strongest desire to attack; Yoshikawa Feng is like a sneaky black mamba snake, ready to strike back at any moment; Ivan and Vanessa are just like the two of us.”

Jamie looked at Kaelian with a smile, ”They only trust each other.”

Kaelian also smiled.

During her military career, she met the young Jamie in this training ground.

Because they both avoided a hippo herd together, they became life-and-death comrades who could trust each other with their backs.

After retiring, she turned to survival, and this was her starting point to the world.

This is also why her comrade Jamie participated in this survival challenge to assist her.

”Then let’s prepare!”

...

On Yoshikawa Feng’s side, there were four of them.

”Teaming up with more people is unlikely, everyone is on guard against us.”

Brad said somewhat gloomily.

”The four of us teaming up is enough.”

Yoshikawa Feng smiled sinisterly, ”After the draw is over, we need to plan carefully, to determine the best combat plan!”

Polish Ivan didn’t like the word combat plan, nor did he like the Japanese.

He asked, ”What do you want to do? I think it’s best for everyone to try to survive on their own.”

Vanessa beside him didn’t speak, in this survival group, Ivan made the decisions.

Yoshikawa Feng let out a dry laugh and said, ”I can move quickly after landing and meet up with you. As you know, in this environment full of predators, the more people, the safer it is. We should meet up quickly for the best strategy.”

Ivan didn’t object to this.

He nodded slightly, ”Okay, I agree with the general plan, but I want to make it clear, we two are here for the prize money, we want the first-place prize.”

Upon hearing this, Yoshikawa Feng’s face stiffened a bit.

Who isn’t here for the prize money?

But he still smiled and said, ”Okay, one of you can have the first place, I only want the second.”

Brad didn’t say anything, he was well aware of his own strength.

However, Yoshikawa Feng didn’t even mention letting him be fourth, which made Brad a bit unhappy.

It always felt like a friend met a new friend and didn’t take him to play.

After reaching a simple consensus.

Ivan and Vanessa said their goodbyes.

Once they returned to their room, Ivan and Vanessa exchanged a glance.

”Yoshikawa Feng can’t be trusted, he cares a lot about the prize money.”

Vanessa said softly, ”After hearing that we want the first-place prize, his expression was unnatural.”

Ivan nodded, ”I know too, once we’re in the top five, eliminate Yoshikawa Feng immediately!”

”Agreed.”

The two began discussing their next plan.

...

On Chen Wen’s side.

He was sleeping soundly.

The outward alliances, the covert conspiracies.

He didn’t care.

...

The next day, came Chen Wen’s second favorite trash talk segment.

”Ah, trash talk, trash talk!”

Chen Wen chuckled, ”Just thinking about what to say later makes me a bit eager.”

Beside him, Jiang Chang covered her mouth and chuckled, her eyes filled with admiration for Chen Wen.

Lin Jiawei was already used to it.

He was helping Chen Wen upload the newly written trash talk questions to the program team.

The program team’s prepared questions were simple.

There were only three.

[1. In this survival, who do you feel is the strongest competitor, and what would you like to say to them?]

[2. In this survival, who is the competitor you most want to eliminate, and what would you like to say to them?]

[3. In this survival, who do you think will be the first competitor to be eliminated, state your reason.]

The three questions were quite simple and targeted.

Chen Wen’s answers were also simple.

[The strongest competitor is myself, I would like to tell him not to eliminate everyone too quickly, and let everyone enjoy feeling the enthusiasm of Caprivi for a few more days.]

[The competitor I most want to eliminate is Yoshikawa Feng, nothing much to say, I think the choice of any Hua Country person should be the same as mine.]

[The first to be eliminated, ah, it’s so hard to choose, is it Yoshikawa Feng? Or perhaps Yoshikawa Feng? Reason? Whoever I have my eye on is bound to be the first to be eliminated.]

This trash talk focused on boldness!

Having penned trash talk that focused on boldness, Chen Wen was cautiously reviewing the materials on animals.

”Sigh, if only there were Asian elephants.”

Looking at the information on African elephants, Chen Wen was a bit helpless.

These big guys’ tempers aren’t as gentle as their relatives, the Asian elephants.

Upon hearing this, Jiang Chang was a bit puzzled, ”Aren’t they all elephants, what’s the difference?”

”Yes, there is. Asian elephants are gentler, more friendly to humans, but as long as they’re wild, they’re still quite dangerous.”

Chen Wen explained.

Speaking of animals, Jiang Chang curiously asked, ”If you were to rank the danger level of animals, how would you rank them?”

This topic piqued Chen Wen’s interest.

Based on the information he had seen, Chen Wen roughly proposed a ranking.

”If only talking about large animals, the most dangerous, I think, is the hippo, followed by the African elephant, third is the Nile crocodile, then it’s the rhino, lion prides, leopards, other hyenas, buffalo, giraffes, spotted hyenas, zebras, and then cheetahs.”

Upon hearing this, Jiang Chang curiously asked, ”Why are there more herbivores ranked higher? Why are the carnivores ranked lower? And why is the cheetah ranked last?”

”Is ’One Hundred Thousand Whys’ online now or what?”

Chen Wen laughed, ”This ranking is unofficial and subjective, based on my circumstances, to me, the only difference between a cheetah and a cat is speed, I can’t catch up with it.”

”Don’t even talk about zebras, they’re just walking meat, spotted hyenas are quite clever, I’d try to tame them if I encounter them, giraffes are generally rare to encounter, and as for buffalo, if I don’t provoke them, they won’t provoke me. Other hyenas are a bit more dangerous, but as long as I keep my distance, it’s fine.”

”As for leopards, I might try to tame them, you generally don’t encounter lion prides, even if you do, just climbing a tree will do, rhinos are too rare, but if you do encounter one, don’t provoke it, and there won’t be a problem.”

”Among the top three, Nile crocodiles are too numerous and usually near water sources, making encounters quite frequent. They execute ambushes quite well, you have to guard against them, African elephants have a temper and like to wander around leisurely, and there’s no countermeasure against them, making them more dangerous than Nile crocodiles.”

”As for hippos, they’re truly disgusting, they are like the upgraded combination of Nile crocodiles and African elephants, widely distributed, easy to encounter, fast, large, have a temper, strong in territorial consciousness, and most importantly, lacking countermeasures.”

Chen Wen said with a bit of headache, ”Encountering a hippo, even if I had a spear, I’d be running in the opposite direction.”

This explanation left Jiang Chang quite surprised.
