Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Chapter 330: Chapter 19: Jiang Xue’s Design Concept

As for making money, Chen Wen didn’t say much.

He just mentioned Yukon.

Jiang Xue tactfully did not continue to ask questions.

She gently tapped her head and analyzed for Chen Wen: ”Your... money and land are quite abundant, it’s easy to build a zoo, but I want to confirm with you, how large do you want to build it?”

Chen Wen hesitated for a moment and said, ”I envisioned something relatively large.”

”Hmm, if it’s relatively large, there will be a lot of empty spaces.”

Jiang Xue said: ”Currently, you don’t have many animals around you, one glass house is more than enough.”

”This is to be prepared for any eventuality, what if there are more animals in the future?”

Chen Wen scratched his head and asked: ”In any case, I only have a rough idea for now. To build this zoo, it will take at least a year or so.”

”That’s too little, I feel it would take two or three years to build it.”

Jiang Xue said.

Chen Wen shook his head: ”No, a year should be about enough, my foreign friends are in charge of construction, they are quite enthusiastic.”

This was not a lie.

Belmont and Edmond couldn’t wait for Chen Wen to come up with a design plan and start work.

You know, in the world’s money-making trades, real estate is definitely at the forefront.

Jiang Xue shook her head, a bit helpless: ”In a short time, if you ask me to say, I can’t say well either. Let’s do it this way, I’ll first help you think about a general plan, and once I’ve thought it through, we’ll discuss it again.”

Chen Wen nodded: ”Then I’m troubling you, Director, but Director, I think this zoo is quite good, I think we can consider it from this direction in terms of idea, just move this zoo to the island, how to construct it, would it be better this way?”

Upon hearing this, Jiang Xue was thoughtful: ”Hmm... this idea is worth trying.”

After Chen Wen left, Jiang Xue began to think: if I had so much funding and land, how would I build a zoo?

Jiang Xue quickly began to have ideas.

...

After meeting with Jiang Xue.

Chen Wen met with Lv Guocheng.

”How’s it going? How’s the planning for your dream home coming along?”

Seeing the somewhat weary Chen Wen, Lv Guocheng squinted his eyes and smiled.

Chen Wen painfully shook his head: ”I’m doomed, I don’t have any idea, I thought this thing was like those simulation management games, you just click randomly, but when it actually comes to it, it’s really complicated!”

”Complicated is right, did you think building an island was that simple?”

Lv Guocheng laughed: ”I’ve helped you contact some designers with experience in island construction, as well as some domestic zoo designers. You should meet with them and ask for their opinions, but be aware, these people don’t come cheap.”

”I don’t care about the cost, I just need to be satisfied.”

Chen Wen said, no longer thinking about these matters.

Introduced by Lv Guocheng, Chen Wen met with several designers one by one.

Their design ideas indeed provided Chen Wen with plenty of thoughts, but none of them reached a level that satisfied Chen Wen.

As Chen Wen contemplated simply choosing a roughly suitable design plan.

There was news from Jiang Xue.

[Where are you? I’ve thought of some design ideas these days, should we talk?]

Chen Wen put down the design plan he was looking at and replied.

[Outside, I’ll be back tomorrow]

Hopefully, Jiang Xue’s design ideas are quite novel.

Chen Wen couldn’t help thinking.

...

This time meeting, Jiang Xue was evidently a bit more haggard.

Just like Chen Wen.

”You’ve worked hard, Director Jiang, worrying about this for me.”

Chen Wen said with some emotion.

Jiang Xue waved her hand: ”Considering our relationship, there’s no point in saying this.”

”Just talk about the ideas directly, after observing your interaction with the animals these days, I have a very bold idea.”

Bold?

I just like bold ideas!

Chen Wen was immediately interested.

Jiang Xue placed a blank sheet of paper on the table and started sharing her thoughts: ”You know the Eight Trigrams Array, right? Your house, or rather this zoo’s center, is in the very middle, like the yin-yang symbol, other animals are classified based on their nature and habitat, divided into multiple areas, but there are no fences within each area.”

Chen Wen stared at this design that looked like an Eight Trigrams Array, stunned.

”My idea is quite simple, your animals are very smart, they can live harmoniously together, just like your Golden Eagle and Snowy Owl, those two animals would certainly be separated in a typical zoo, but yours is different, your Golden Eagle and Snowy Owl are even displaying intimate behaviors and will groom each other’s feathers.”

Jiang Xue smiled and said: ”This is not something you see in a typical zoo, not even in the wild. So, I was thinking, if I were to plan it, I would leverage this and let these animals live together without defenses.”

”This way, they can live safely, healthily, happily, and aren’t too lonely. What do you think?”

Jiang Xue asked, a bit apprehensive.

She was somewhat worried that Chen Wen would dislike this plan.

After all, this proposal was downright fantastical, she had never heard of any zoo designed this way before.

Yet, looking at this plan, Chen Wen felt like he had a major realization.

”You don’t say! This plan is promising!”

Chen Wen said with quite excitement.

Previously, he had been led by the thoughts of the designers, always thinking of setting up separate areas for each animal, letting them live individually.

In fact, he had overlooked that his animals are quite unique.

”The person involved gets confused, I fell into this too.”

Chen Wen shook his head, very grateful and said: ”This plan is the most satisfactory plan I’ve seen so far, thank you, Director!”

Jiang Xue waved her hand: ”As long as you like it.”

Chen Wen didn’t waste time, promptly noted this idea down, and then contacted those designers.

The other side was quite surprised to see this idea.

But the client is like a boss.

Under the power of money, the designer said they would follow this design idea.

After closing the phone, looking at the slightly fatigued Jiang Xue, Chen Wen also made a statement.

”Director Jiang, I looked at the situation of our zoo, it’s a bit tight financially, isn’t it?”

Without waiting for Jiang Xue to speak, Chen Wen promptly said: ”I can personally sponsor the zoo’s expenses for a quarter.”

This news shocked Jiang Xue.

She hurriedly said such an expenditure wasn’t necessary.

But Chen Wen said: ”Don’t think it’s too little, I value the idea you helped me with as priceless, frankly, I originally wanted to sponsor half a year, but a quarter is my current cash limit, after all, as you know, I still need to invest in construction on the island, which is also quite costly.”

”No, no, I’m helping you purely out of friendship between friends.”

Jiang Xue still wanted to persist, but Chen Wen said: ”Friendship is friendship, this money is also for me to do something for the zoo, so don’t refuse, besides, Director Jiang, there’s one more thing I’d like to ask you, this time it’s purely out of friendship.”

Successfully changing the topic.

Jiang Xue said: ”What is it?”

”I want to hire you to become the director of my dream zoo, hmm, if director doesn’t fit, chief consultant can also do, mainly for you to oversee and ensure the construction and subsequent maintenance of the zoo.”

Chen Wen quickly said: ”Salary is according to the market’s highest salary, workplace is flexible, if you want to go to the island, I can arrange for a helicopter to pick and drop off, and safety is secured by a professional security company, what do you think?”
