Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1437: Chapter 1436: Not Ordinary People (Ark 6-Star Full Essence 2 Achieved)

”Bang bang bang!!”

Along with the colorful fireworks shooting up into the sky, it announced the reopening of Amagi Brilliant Park. And the little girls who had been eagerly waiting at the gate cheered and rushed inside happily.

”It’s cleaner than before...”

Little Hei was not very interested because her previous visit left a poor impression. If it weren’t for Illya dragging her, she wouldn’t have wanted to come. However, after entering the park, Little Hei noticed that it was indeed much cleaner than before. Plus, most of the previously closed shops were now open for business.

This was also Fang Zheng’s requirement. A park, a mall, places that rely on attracting people, no matter how many customers you have, all operations must remain open. This way, customers will feel that the place is functioning properly.

Like Fang Zheng and the others on their first visit, where the entertainment facilities were either closed or they were in bad moods, giving the impression that the amusement park was about to shut down. How could such a park attract customers?

Who would come and play at a park that seems like it’s closing tomorrow?

”What should we play?”

At this point, Yoshino came over, curiously asking, while Little Hei looked around and then had a flash of inspiration.

”Let’s go swimming!”

Currently, Amagi Brilliant Park is in summer, and swimming is a relatively resource-saving form of entertainment, which is why Fang Zheng opened the water park. Just like how he would go swimming in the reservoir during his childhood, back then, it was the whole family driving to the reservoir, which had nothing but water and fish, and the family would have a great time playing all day.

Although due to lack of resources, most of the water attractions in Amagi Brilliant Park were on hold, regular water entertainment facilities were still usable. The Heavenly Dao Palace didn’t have a swimming pool, mainly because Fang Zheng wasn’t concerned about it. Many little girls held hands happily and headed toward the water park.

Some Cursed Children preferred Savage Canyon, as in the Black World, areas with large spaces like amusement parks had long become paradises for Intestinal Creatures. Even if there were some exceptions, the Cursed Children weren’t allowed in there. Moreover, in the Black World, the Cursed Children never had enough to eat or wear, so they hardly ever thought of going to a park.

For many of them, it was their first time playing at an amusement park. Whether it was Macaron, Tiramisu, or Matsubon, the performing mascots, or the cheerful music and unique entertainment activities in the park, all brightened the eyes of many Cursed Children. They happily called their friends over to play.

When these Cursed Children entered, Matsubon and the others finally understood why Fang Zheng would say, ”These kids aren’t the same as ordinary people.”

Previously, when Fang Zheng toured with them, everyone was quite obedient, whether it was Illya and Little Hei as Heroic Spirits, Yoshino as an Elf, or Midori and Natsuse as Cursed Children. None of them displayed their extraordinary sides.

But this time it was different.

With Fang Zheng not around, the little girls immediately unleashed their freedom and ran everywhere, leaving the amusement park staff overwhelmed.

Of course, the little ones didn’t say they’d go to prohibited areas nor break the park’s rules. But when they used their own way to ”entertain,” the park’s staff were dumbfounded.

Take the water park for example, Yoshino waved her hand suddenly freezing a third of the water park. Not only did she turn a simple warm swimming pool into an ice rink, she also felt it was too bland, so she casually added an ice castle on it. Then a group of little girls climbed all over it, and started a snowball fight in the swimming pool.

The staff who came to stop them were also overwhelmed, especially when Yoshino anxiously looked at them and softly asked, ”Is it not allowed?” These staff members couldn’t say a word.

Is it not allowed?

The water park has many rules, but none of them ever stated that you can’t ice skate or have snowball fights in the swimming pool!

Speaking of which, who would have expected visitors to create an ice rink and ice sculpture castle in the swimming pool!

As for the Savage Canyon area, it was another scene of chaos.

Savage Canyon’s entertainment was focused on adventure sports, naturally prepared for ordinary kids and adults. But... do Cursed Children count as ordinary people?

They themselves are infected with Intestinal Virus, have Zerg gene modifications, and some even became Magical Girls, while others mastered Psionic powers. Once these little ones unleash their playful spirits, the entire park turns into a frenzy.

For instance, Savage Canyon had a bungee jumping attraction that prioritized safety. However, many little girls couldn’t wait in line and ran to the side to jump themselves. Some felt it wasn’t thrilling enough to bungee jump with a rope, so they directly jumped into the sky and fell back down, competing to see who jumped higher or fell harder.

For safety reasons, the bungee jumping height here was at most ten stories high, whereas many Cursed Children could jump from the top of skyscrapers without feeling pain. These tricks seemed dull compared to their usual training. So, the little girls simply turned Savage Canyon into a gym, competing to see who ran the fastest, jumped the furthest, flew the highest... sort of enjoying themselves.

But for Amagi Brilliant Park’s staff, it was mind-blowing.

Although most of these staff members came from the Magic Kingdom, Maple Red Paradise, as part of the Magic Kingdom, didn’t have a high level of Magical Civilization itself.

Don’t even mention reaching the standards of Type Moon World, Main World, or Magical Girl World, this Maple Red Paradise’s Magical Civilization level was only around Level Two to Level Three Magician in the Main World. Besides the dolls talking, shapeshifting and having some seemingly decent powers, they didn’t have any other unique skills.

Thus, even from the eyes of the residents of the Magic Kingdom, these ”visitors” clearly exceeded their understanding.

Although none of the little ones caused any trouble, even meeting their needs made the park’s staff run around, exhausted.

When the first day of operation ended, except for Fang Zheng and Isuzu and a few other higher-ups who hadn’t left the office, the rest of the staff almost collapsed.

”So you see, I told you the customers here are quite different.”

Looking at the swimming pool restored to its original state, Fang Zheng chuckled, turning to Matsubon behind him, lying on the ground, hearing Fang Zheng’s words, it looked up with a tired expression, not knowing what to reply.

As an old mascot of the park, Matsubon not only had seniority but was also highly skilled. Those juggling skills easily drew the attention of many children. Although it couldn’t say it was immensely popular, it was at least a rather outstanding mascot.

However, today... Matsubon feels like his self-confidence is almost completely shattered.

At first, while he was over there tossing balls, a bunch of little girls ran over to watch. Later, Nobiru seemed to find it unexciting, so she grabbed three soda bottles and started imitating him. Seeing this, Matsubon wanted to stop her, because although ball throwing looks easy, it’s actually quite difficult. And if this little girl accidentally hits someone with those soda bottles, it could be trouble!

What Matsubon didn’t expect was that Nobiru not only didn’t miss, but after spinning around twice, she became even more adept, and later even started playing with her feet proudly.

All the kids who came to the amusement park love excitement, so seeing this, they cheered loudly. After this, other Cursed Children came over and started copying her, some throwing chairs, others tables, eventually turning into a group throwing four or five people in the air, garnering cheers from all the little girls around.

As for Matsubon, seeing this directly made him shut down.

Although those little girls were very polite, restoring the tables and chairs after playing, and even throwing trash into the bins obediently, causing no inconvenience to others around.

But for Matsubon, his self-confidence was almost entirely crushed.

He was originally supposed to entertain guests as the amusement park’s mascot, but ended up being outdone by a group of visitors, leaving him to wonder what the point was in continuing as head performer!

This is a matter concerning the dignity of being a mascot, you know?!

”Today’s satisfaction rate is 91%, barely passing.”

Fang Zheng opened the system and glanced at the numbers. In fact, even without looking at the system, simply glancing at the survey results would show it. After all, every visitor receives a questionnaire before leaving.

And the majority of opinions summed up are ”Looks fun, just not satisfying enough.”

Achieving a satisfaction rate of 91% is thanks to novelty and interest. The remaining... indicates it’s still not enough.

By the way, among these amusement projects, the highest satisfaction is from Yukiko’s Celestial Paradise, even though up till now, no one has cleared it, many little girls have decided to come back in a few days to continue striving to break through. They are determined to conquer this supernatural ghost house.

Next is the water park, because currently there’s no swimming pool in Heavenly Dao Palace that can accommodate hundreds or thousands of people playing in the water together, so it’s obviously very interesting for the little ones, although not as interesting as Yukiko’s ghost house.

As for Savage Canyon, it ranked last, for a simple reason—the entertainment facilities inside are too juvenile to satisfy these little girls.

If not for the novelty factor of their first day here, the little girls might not be interested in coming to play.

”Alright, let’s start the meeting now.”

Sitting back in the conference room, Fang Zheng slightly curled his lips, looking at the crowd before him, drooping their heads like defeated roosters. You see, before this, Fang Zheng specifically reminded them that the guests coming would be different from previous ones, not easily handled.

But at that time, with no physical evidence, people didn’t take it to heart, and Fang Zheng knew this well, so he didn’t say much more.

They’d find out once they experienced it firsthand.

”Today there were one thousand people; next time it’ll be five thousand.”

Looking at the exhausted employees before him, Fang Zheng smiled slightly, then tapped the table.

”Are you ready?”

”What?!”

In the past, if someone came to the amusement park, they’d be immensely happy, but now, upon hearing Fang Zheng say this, everyone was shocked. Even Latifa looked at Fang Zheng in surprise.

”Lord Fang Zheng... five thousand people... are they all like those kids?”

”Of course, which is why I asked if you’re ready.”

”This...”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s answer, everyone exchanged glances and simultaneously swallowed hard.

It’s no joke; just today, the thousand visitors almost killed them. If it switches to five thousand visitors... they might just want to jump off a building!!

”So do you now understand? Over the next week, you must consider brand new entertainment projects. The next internal test will be in a week.”

Saying this, Fang Zheng chuckled.

”I’m looking forward to seeing your results.”

After saying this, Fang Zheng turned and left, leaving a bunch of employees staring at each other.

Although having more visitors is good, if they can’t find ways to satisfy these visitors... that’s the real problem!

But now, what on earth should be done!
