Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1433: Chapter 1432: I Also Have a Haunted House (So Annoying, Someone’s Coming to Play Today)

Fang Zheng’s first impression with the employees of Amagi Brilliant Park was not good, and he didn’t intend to improve the relationship. As Fang Zheng said, these employees needed to save themselves. If they didn’t save themselves, then no one would.

The words are harsh, but the truth is still the truth.

So even though the employees didn’t like Fang Zheng, they still followed his instructions.

Fang Zheng’s demands were nearly ruthless.

”First, clean up the entire park, replace everything that needs replacing.”

Looking at the dried-up fountain in front of him, Fang Zheng decisively gave the order.

”Pull out all the weeds, clean the floors, and pick up all the trash!”

”Yes!”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s order, the employees immediately started working busily. Fang Zheng glanced at the plaza where the cleaning had begun, then turned his gaze to the guide girl beside him.

”Chito, next location.”

”Understood.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s command, the guide girl—Chito Isuzu nodded. After Fang Zheng agreed to take on the manager position, she followed him as his secretary, guiding and explaining things to him.

Besides Chito, Fang Zheng also had his own staff.

However, the work to be done was more than Fang Zheng had imagined.

”The map needs to be redone to be happier; it’s too stiff now and lacks childlike fun.”

Fang Zheng glanced at the map template on the computer and immediately sent it back.

”Add park mascots on it, use a more friendly way to explain.”

After sketching a draft and handing it to the triceratops in charge, Fang Zheng looked up at Chito again.

”Next location.”

”There’s not enough meat in the warehouse!”

As he spoke, a Magic chef whose head looked like a meat bone helplessly opened the warehouse door, showing Fang Zheng the storage inside.

”We currently have no suppliers......”

”Transfer goods from the Heavenly Dao Palace... I’ll handle it.”

Although the system tasks limited the use of materials and technology from the Heavenly Dao Palace, they didn’t limit the transportation of ingredients, so in this aspect, some help could still be provided.

Besides that, there were budget cuts, maintenance of various entertainment equipment......

Fang Zheng felt like he was playing a theme park game that had been abandoned by someone else, and he had taken over midway. The data was a mess, the deficit unbearable to look at, most of the equipment was broken, and even regional planning was chaotic.

Honestly, if this were truly a game, Fang Zheng would have just clicked exit and restarted.

”So next, open the Central Square first, the coffee cup ride, and the extreme drop, repair these as much as possible, while other parts remain temporarily closed. Macaron, Tiramisu, and Matsubon need to perform for the guests in the Central Square. Savage Canyon and Splash Ocean must also be operational as soon as possible......”

Looking at the map in front of him, Fang Zheng quickly made a decision. The issue now wasn’t the number of entries but the satisfaction, so areas that could be easily maintained and meet customer needs at the maximum should be prioritized. Therefore, Fang Zheng decided to prioritize the opening of Savage Canyon and Splash Ocean.

Savage Canyon relied mainly on its unique wild environment and animals, which weren’t difficult to maintain, and the girls from Heavenly Dao Palace were always missing their pets, so they should have a place to vent.

As for Splash Ocean, it’s actually a water park. Although most water facilities were not open, even just a swimming pool and wave machines would be enough for most young girls.

These two areas didn’t require much money and could meet the opening needs in the shortest time. As for other parts, they could be postponed.

But they couldn’t do it alone; Fang Zheng had battled wits with the system so many times that he had his own insights.

”Is this the Otherworld?”

Looking at the amusement area in front of him, with its gates closed tight, Fang Zheng squinted his eyes. Through the gaps in the dilapidated iron fence, various entertainment facilities could be seen inside, including carousels and some old discarded items.

This Otherworld was also a park area, but different from other theme parks. The Otherworld could be described as a large junkyard. It contained outdated, discarded, or experimental gaming facilities. After these were replaced, they had nowhere to go, so they were put here under the name ”Otherworld”—a form of waste utilization.

But because the park’s efficiency was low, this area had long since closed down, and now it only served as a large amusement facility junkyard.

”Yes, are you sure you want this?”

Opening the door and walking into the Otherworld, looking at the dilapidated scene in front of her, Chito Isuzu frowned on her serious face. Because of years of neglect, the amusement rides were covered in dust, and many were already broken, seemingly useless. At least in Chito Isuzu’s eyes, no tourists would want to visit this place.

However, Fang Zheng’s expression was satisfied.

”Hmm, not bad... this feels right.”

Walking among a pile of abandoned, dust and cobweb-covered, dilapidated amusement facilities, Fang Zheng nodded in satisfaction.

”This is good?”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Chito Isuzu was a bit baffled.

”But these rides are all broken, currently unusable, and there are no shops here....”

”There’s no best, it just doesn’t feel right... Hmm, right, you still need to send people to handle potential dangers here, anything that could cause harm should be scrapped directly. As for the rest, I’ll leave it to Yukiko to sort out.”

Fang Zheng turned his eyes.

”Oh yes, bring those four Elemental Sprites here, the Elemental Hall is temporarily closed, they’ve got nothing to do anyway. Plus, their acting is really bad, it’s a good opportunity for them to hone their skills here.”

As an indoor theatre, the Elemental Hall needs more maintenance, of course, generally speaking, something like a theatre isn’t too important, as long as the performers are good enough. Just like in the dating Game World, girls can casually form a band and perform, though there are certain limitations, they can still gather a lot of popularity.

However, what leaves Fang Zheng speechless is that these Elemental Sprites, supposed to be the star attractions of the Elemental Hall, have acting so bad it’s embarrassing.

Water Sprite Muse is the most diligent of them, and the best in terms of acting. But the other three have lots of issues: Earth Sprite Kobori has terrible motor skills, can’t even dance on beat. Fire Spirit Salamand lacks any passion, gives a lazy, nonchalant impression all the time. Wind Elemental Hilfi has no synchronization at all, often just does whatever she pleases...

To deal with these guys, you have to use tough love, Fang Zheng believes that as long as he lets Yukiko ”teach” them properly, they’ll understand their responsibilities.

”Now regarding food and supply coordination...”

”Brother, I’ll handle it.”

However, before Fang Zheng could finish, Sora suddenly chimed in.

”You?”

Fang Zheng looked at Sora in surprise upon hearing her speak. He hadn’t planned to bring Sora along, but she had insisted on coming. Previously, she was just quietly following, so Fang Zheng figured she was just tagging along as usual. He didn’t expect her to speak up at this moment.

”Yes, I’ve been with you all morning, I’ve learned a lot about this place, I think I can do it.”

”Oh?”

Seeing Sora’s confident demeanor, Fang Zheng grew curious, he looked at her and asked.

”Then tell me, what ingredients does meat with bones need?”

”Chicken, pork, beef, potatoes, spinach, tomatoes, five hundred of each.”

”Drinks?”

”Three hundred and twenty-five cases of soft drinks.”

”Based on a thousand people, how much is needed per day?”

”What discount rate is needed to attract customers?”

Initially, Fang Zheng asked out of amusement, but he was surprised when Sora answered steadily without hesitation. He didn’t know if she calculated it in her head or had already anticipated it. But at least, her answers to these questions were spot-on.

”Then it’s all yours.”

After a brief testing, Fang Zheng felt relieved.

”You’ll handle the coordination of food and supplies flow between Heavenly Dao Palace and Amagi Brilliant Park. Report to me directly if there’s any problem.”

”Okay, brother, I’m on it!!”

Watching Sora’s happy figure disappear, Fang Zheng sighed. He noted Sora seemed a bit out of place in Heavenly Dao Palace’s life, but for now, didn’t know how to help her solve this issue. Now, it seemed addressing it from this angle might be a good start.

Now then...

”Let’s continue.”

Thinking this, Fang Zheng looked at Chito Isuzu and spoke.

With clear goals, everyone worked faster, Fang Zheng’s requests were mostly completed in a few days.

However, a state enterprise is still a state enterprise.

”So, you want to see how things are in another world?”

Sitting at the desk, Fang Zheng looked up, smiling lightly as he faced Matsubon standing before him - being Amagi Brilliant Park’s mascot representative, Matsubon was an old hand here, and like many long-standing state employees, he was stubborn, persistent, and wouldn’t turn back until he hits a wall.

”That’s right.”

Wearing his brown-yellow Old Mouse costume, Matsubon — or rather, the fairy that moves inside the costume — crossed his arms confidently, eyes fixed on Fang Zheng.

”You’ve seen our park already, and it’s qualified! But I haven’t seen yours yet, we’re reopening in a few days, what if your park doesn’t satisfy the customers? Do you plan to shift the blame onto us?”

”So you want to see how things are in another world?”

Fang Zheng was not surprised by Matsubon’s request. He could even predict that it was probably what all park employees were asking for. After all, his relationship with these employees wasn’t good, the high-pressure situation of the past days, although they completed tasks, surely made them wonder, ”What skills does this newcomer have to boss us around?”

And even if Fang Zheng didn’t say it directly, they could guess that the new area was meant for competing with them.

So, they want to see if that park really has what it takes to compete with them!

”Exactly, Yukiko’s side is done too.”

Fang Zheng’s lips curled into a satisfied smile.

”Why don’t we go have a look together?”
