”Ohhhhhhh!!!”

In just a moment, Honid’s body had become almost indistinguishable from the statues worshipped by the Lizard Men. His towering figure stood on two thick, short legs, his four arms waving nonstop. Fang Zheng could feel the violent energy circulating and bursting within Honid’s body, as if a chemical reaction had taken place, and his strength began to grow exponentially.

When Fang Zheng first met Honid, his physical quality was almost that of a normal person, but now, he had nearly broken through to the Elite Rank!

”I’m so hungry... I’m so hungry!!”

With a loud shout, Honid suddenly leapt forward, charging towards the Lizard Men in front of him. The Lizard Guards were taken aback by Honid’s charge, yelling in panic and waving their crude weapons, trying to fend off Honid’s assault.

At first, the Lizard Guards’ counterattack did cause some damage to Honid. However, it seemed this Lizard Man had gained a powerful Regeneration Ability after injecting the substance from that bottle. Fang Zheng even saw one of the Lizard Guards stab through Honid’s palm, but he didn’t care at all and simply grabbed the Lizard Guard and swallowed him whole.

And as Honid swallowed the Lizard Guard, the wounds on his body visibly healed at a rapid pace, and his body began to swell again...

”I’m hungry! I want to eat more!!”

Having just devoured a Lizard Man, Honid still seemed utterly unsatisfied as he roared again and pounced forward. Although the Lizard Guards bravely attempted to block him, the ”upgraded” Honid seemed even more difficult to deal with than before. The weapons that could previously pierce his body now failed to inflict any damage. On the contrary, Honid, swinging his four arms, grabbed all the Lizard Guards who dared to stand in his way and stuffed them one by one into his gaping mouth.

”Profaner, you will pay the price for this!”

Just as Honid ate the third Lizard Guard, the Lizard Elder suddenly roared and raised his Magic Wand. Immediately, Fang Zheng saw flames gushing out from the Lizard Elder’s Magic Wand, hitting Honid squarely and, accompanied by Honid’s painful cries, his massive body fell to the ground under the scorched flames.

I didn’t expect this Lizard Elder to be a Magician?

Seeing this, Fang Zheng looked at the frail Lizard Elder in surprise.

There are many spellcasters in the Main World, apart from rare casting professions like Astrologists and Wild Hunt Sorcerers like Ms. M’s, the mainstream spellcasters are mainly Mages and Magicians. The difference between Magicians and Mages lies in the natural spell control abilities of Magicians. For instance, Mages need practice, guidance, and learning to harness the Magic Net in order to cast an Ice Ray. However, for some Magicians born with similar abilities, all it takes is a thought to accomplish the same.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Magicians are necessarily better off than Mages. Due to natural limitations, most Magicians are elemental controllers and might have an advantage over ordinary people. But to Mages, a simple Elemental Shield can easily negate most of the Magicians’ combat techniques...

As for the power displayed by the Lizard Elder, Fang Zheng was somewhat surprised, but it didn’t concern him too much. It’s not unusual for spellcasting professions like Magicians to emerge among Alien Races. Especially for isolated races like the Lizard Men, whose civilization has been stagnant in a primitive society for centuries. It’s unreasonable to expect them to master any sort of Ancient Forbidden Spells... Compared to this, the power of Magicians who can train and learn to master their abilities naturally suits such a closed community better.

”Burn, destroy! Despicable Profaner!!”

At this moment, the Lizard Elder stepped forward, raising his Magic Wand high and pouring flames onto the mutated and gigantic body of Honid. Honid’s mutated body was entirely engulfed in the raging flames; if one were merely using their eyes, it would be easy to assume he had been completely eradicated by the fire.

But Fang Zheng knew that things were not so simple because he could feel that within the flames, Honid’s aura was growing stronger.

What exactly is that Secret Treasure?

Now, Fang Zheng was increasingly puzzled about that artifact. He originally thought it might be some sort of device created in the Main World specifically for time travel. But now it seemed it was not so, after all. The Lizard Man called Honid clearly didn’t exhibit any characteristics of a transmigrator, and he didn’t seem to have obtained any super XX system either.

Nevertheless, Fang Zheng could still tell that Honid had acquired a ”Golden Finger” like formidable power. He could grow his strength by devouring others, and this growth was not as simple as 1+1=2. Instead, it seemed to increase exponentially...

”Boom!!”

Just as Fang Zheng was contemplative, he saw a charred hand suddenly emerge from the flames and snatch the Lizard Elder. The Lizard Elder clearly did not expect Honid to still possess such strength, and given his old age, he couldn’t evade the sudden attack. Accompanied by a dreadful scream, the next moment Fang Zheng saw the Lizard Elder get dragged into the flames, and quickly there was silence.

”Huff... Aaaahhh!!”

Immediately after, a roar resounded, and then Honid stood up again. At this moment, his body swelled even more compared to before. Not only that, but Fang Zheng also noticed flames spewing from Honid’s mouth. The fire that had been scorching his body now seemed to be under his control, fully separating!

Indeed, the sorcerer power of the Lizard Elder had been absorbed...

By this point, Fang Zheng had confirmed Honid’s mutation abilities. It was clear that after injecting the contents of that little bottle, Honid had acquired powerful fusion, absorption, and self-healing capabilities, but the price was...

”I’m so hungry!! I want more! I want more!!”

Honid leapt forward mightily, like a fierce beast, overpowering several Lizard Soldiers around him, pinning them to the ground. Then, he lowered his head and bit into the neck of a Lizard Guard who was struggling under his palm. With a forceful tear, the unfortunate Lizard Guard was ripped into two, emitting a piercing scream before being swallowed whole by Honid.

”Ah... Ahhhh!!”

During this process, Honid’s body continued to grow larger without stopping!

This isn’t good.

Fang Zheng could sense that Honid’s ”explosive growth” did not appear to be controllable, and he seemed to have no intention of controlling his own power. He was just greedily devouring all the flesh before him, trying to nourish his body and make it even more formidable.

This couldn’t go on.

Fang Zheng already felt that the power within Honid had exceeded the limits of the Elite Rank, moving towards the Grandmaster Rank. And this was in less than ten minutes! Who knows what he would become next!

”All swarms, retreat immediately!”

With that thought, Fang Zheng immediately issued a command to the swarm, then he released his control over the Aliens. Afterward, Fang Zheng closed his eyes and began to employ his psionic power. Soon, under the influence of the Psionic Amount, he rapidly locked onto the location of the Lizard Horde deep in the dark underground. Next, Fang Zheng reached out his hand. Magic surged at his fingertips, dancing, warping space.

The very next moment, the scene before Fang Zheng’s eyes flashed, and just like that, he found himself in the pitch-black gloom of the cavern.

”Aaaahhh!!”

When Fang Zheng opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was a chaotic Lizard Horde, with the Lizard folk screaming and fleeing in all directions. Not far away, a massive figure as tall as two or three-story buildings was rampaging like a monster destroying a city!

In just the blink of an eye, the creature had grown again!

Looking at the shadow in the distance, Fang Zheng frowned.

Although there were still many questions he needed to answer, it seemed that now he had no choice but to kill him!
