Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

’Puchi!’

The Golden Chains pierced through the body of the last fleeing Kusa-no-Mi Ninja.

Blood dripped down, yet it did not stain the Golden Chains in the slightest. They remained as dazzlingly golden as ever.

With Seiryū’s body as the center, corpses piled up on the ground.

Some had their eyes wide open, still maintaining the terrified expressions they had before death. Others had missing limbs, lacking arms or legs.

On the ground stained red with blood, only Seiryū stood, with the Golden Chains behind him still writhing like claws and tentacles.

Such a scene made everyone present tremble in fear.

In their eyes, Seiryū did not seem like a ten-year-old boy, but a Shinigami with hands stained in blood.

”Hoo.”

The enemies were all killed.

The excitement and bloodlust in Seiryū’s eyes, though still present, began to fade, and he slowly exhaled.

”To truly become an army of one, my Chakra reserves are still somewhat lacking.” Feeling the Chakra within his body, Seiryū muttered to himself.

After being injured and healed several times, Seiryū’s physical fitness had improved significantly.

At the same time, the constitution of the Uzumaki Clan also played a role.

His internal Chakra reserves far exceeded those of his peers.

Even a Jōnin was far inferior to Seiryū in terms of Chakra reserves.

Even Minato, as he was now, was already inferior to Seiryū in terms of Chakra reserves.

However, at this moment, Seiryū still felt that his Chakra consumption was a bit too high.

”Body growth takes time, and I still have the Dragon Vein Chakra. Once I master Sage Jutsu, I probably won’t have to worry about Chakra anymore.” Seiryū shook off the thoughts in his mind.

The fact that he could display such strength right now was already incredible.

At the very least, in the original work, no one possessed this kind of power at his age.

Killing around two hundred Ninja in a short period of time with his own strength, although their strength varied, it was still a feat!

’Swish, swish, swish!’

Tsunade, Kurenai, and Shizune, seeing that the battle was over, hurried over.

Hina also followed.

It was just that her expression was somewhat dazed and shocked.

She had not yet recovered from Seiryū’s cruel slaughter just now.

Looking Seiryū up and down, and discovering that Seiryū had returned to normal, Tsunade breathed a sigh of relief.

Finally, looking at the scene of corpses everywhere and the blood-stained earth, she clicked her tongue and said, ”Your improved Adamantine, no, Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain, can actually display such power? I still underestimated you a bit.”

If not for this Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain, Seiryū would not have been able to kill two hundred or so Ninja in such a short time.

It was worthy of being a technique developed and improved by Seiryū himself.

It was simply too suitable for Seiryū.

”Making a fuss over nothing. How many times has it been? Why do you still look like you haven’t seen the world?” Seiryū was also very satisfied with the combat performance of Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain.

It was indeed very suitable for him.

It was just that he had not fully mastered the Dragon Vein Chakra yet.

Once he could fully use the Dragon Vein Chakra, the lethality would become even stronger.

”Hmph! Didn’t I tell you not to do extreme things? Why did you do this kind of thing again? I’m not talking to you anymore!”

Kurenai was still somewhat dissatisfied with Seiryū’s behavior just now.

She huffed and turned her head, looking adorable as she pretended not to want to talk to Seiryū.

Seiryū rubbed Kurenai’s little head and said speechlessly, ”Where was it extreme? I wasn’t even injured, just used up some Chakra. With my recovery ability, it won’t be long before I return to my peak.”

”Hmph!”

Kurenai slapped Seiryū’s hand away and turned her face, still ignoring Seiryū.

He never listened to her, his cute little sister.

Really annoying!

She really, really would not talk to Seiryū!

”...”

He was left somewhat speechless by Kurenai’s little temper tantrum.

He could not be bothered to deal with this little girl.

In a while, she would be fine on her own.

A little girl with a brother complex, how could she not talk to him, her brother?

She was actually throwing a little tantrum.

So cute!

”Heh.”

Tsunade watched the two’s little interaction and shook her head with a laugh.

Then she spoke to the group. ”Alright, stop fooling around. Let’s go eat first. We have a mission this afternoon.”

After Seiryū’s slaughter this time, there should not be anyone who was unconvinced or lacked common sense.

However, they had a mission in the afternoon and would not stay here for long.

Afterward, they still needed to take Uzumaki Hina back to Konoha, so they were not exactly free.

”Hmm.” Seiryū nodded.

However, he felt in his heart that things here were not over yet.

Was the person who was secretly spying on him earlier White Zetsu?

If it was, what was White Zetsu’s purpose for appearing here?

Did it involve Madara?

Seiryū did not dare to lower his guard.

Of course, he was not very worried.

Having mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique, his mobility was unrivaled in the Ninja World.

Unless it was a technique that could seal space, nothing could stop the execution of the Flying Thunder God Technique.

”Tsunade-sama, Seiryū-sama, this matter regarding Hina is the fault of Kusagakure. I apologize to you all on behalf of Kusagakure.”

Elder Snake, who had taken off her snake-head mask, was a beautiful woman who still looked charming.

She walked over, looking restrained as she bowed.

This time, she did not feel awkward addressing Seiryū.

The other party had the strength and the qualifications.

The Ninja World had always respected the strong.

Seiryū’s strength was above hers!

”There is no need for this. We are just dealing with the matter at hand. This kid also went a bit too far.” Tsunade waved her hand.

She had some impression of the Elder Snake before her.

She was the previous representative of Kusagakure.

Plus, the other party was a reasonable person who had ordered the others to step back.

And now she was bowing again.

She would not pursue anything too much.

One thing at a time!

”Thank you, Tsunade-sama.” Elder Snake felt relieved once again.

Then she looked at Uzumaki Hina, her tone apologetic and sincere. ”Hina, regarding this matter, it is the fault of Kusagakure that you had to experience such things.”

”Afterward, we will provide you with some compensation.”

Doing such things to Hina was the work of the Kusa-no-Mi faction.

But in the end, the Kusa-no-Mi faction were also Kusagakure Ninja.

It could not be separated from Kusagakure.

Now, the Kusa-no-Mi faction was practically dead in name, and several elders had all been killed.

Afterward, Kusagakure would be controlled by their Kusa-no-Hana faction.

In order to prevent unnecessary trouble later, she intended to completely resolve this matter and provide the necessary compensation to Hina!

”No, there’s no need for that, Elder Snake. This matter has nothing to do with you Kusa-no-Hana. It was others.”

Hearing Elder Snake’s words, Hina was somewhat at a loss.

She quickly spoke, ”I have been living here for a while. If it weren’t for Kusagakure taking me in, I might have already died outside.”

”Besides, Elder Snake, you all have helped me a lot, and I keep it in my heart!”

The Kusa-no-Mi Ninja had indeed done many excessive things to her.

But if it were not for Kusagakure taking her in, she might have already starved to death outside.

The Kusa-no-Mi faction and the Kusa-no-Hana faction, she could tell them apart.

Previously, people from Kusa-no-Hana had also helped her.

Her residence was given to her by people from the Kusa-no-Hana faction.

They would also send her food and medical supplies.

Although life was tight, her life was guaranteed.

For this, she was very grateful to the Ninja of the Kusa-no-Hana faction!

”If you do something wrong, you have to admit it!”

Hearing Hina say this, Elder Snake completely relaxed inside.

Taking a deep breath, she said earnestly, ”Otherwise, we won’t be able to rest easy.”

”Is, is that so?”

Looking at the serious expression of Elder Snake, Hina knew that if she did not agree, the other party might really be unable to rest easy.

However, could she really make the decision?

She could not help but look at Tsunade and Seiryū, as if asking for their opinions.

Noticing Hina’s gaze, Tsunade did not mind. ”You are not my subordinate, nor are you a puppet of Konoha. You are an independent person. You decide these things yourself.”

Hina was stunned for a moment.

An independent person?

An inexplicable emotion surged in her heart, and she showed a beautiful smile. ”I understand, Tsunade-sama.”

Then she looked at Elder Snake and said with a smile, ”Elder Snake, if you really want to compensate me, then use this compensation for the children in the orphanage.”

”They need it more than I do.”

”I understand.”

Taking a deep look at Hina, Elder Snake promised, ”We will treat them better in the future!”

”Hmm.”

Hina just nodded and did not say anything else afterward.

They did not continue chatting either.

The four from Konoha took Hina and went to a restaurant to eat.

They simply asked about Hina’s experience.

It was a tragedy to speak of.

After the Land of Whirlpools was destroyed, Hina wandered around the Ninja World.

Eventually, she encountered a team of Kusagakure Ninja.

With the idea of having more cannon fodder, they brought Hina to live in the Kusagakure orphanage.

Because she could not expose the fact that she was from the Uzumaki Clan, Hina deliberately pretended not to have any talent for Ninjutsu.

The result was naturally that she was abandoned.

She could only do hard, tiring work for the Kusa-no-Mi faction to barely maintain her livelihood.

The reason she exposed her special constitution was also an accident.

A friend who was doing the same work suffered a serious injury due to a mistake on the job.

Orphans who could barely feed themselves naturally could not afford high medical expenses.

In order to prevent her friend from dying just like that, Hina used her special constitution to heal the other person.

As a result, she was accidentally seen by a Kusa-no-Mi Ninja.

And thus, the tragedy occurred!

Fortunately, this tragedy did not last long.

It had only been about a month, and Seiryū and the others had arrived here.

Meanwhile, in the forbidden area of Kusagakure.

A corpse wearing a dog-head mask lay in a pool of blood.

Standing beside it was a half-black, half-white person.

Black Zetsu, White Zetsu!

However, at this moment, the eyes of Black Zetsu and White Zetsu were different.

They were eerie, scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan with three diagonal triangular patterns!

”Are the Chakra and souls of over two hundred Ninja not enough to open the Box of Ultimate Bliss? As expected, it is somewhat special.”

The eerie scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan rotated slightly, and an old yet majestic voice came from Zetsu’s mouth.

This was Madara’s voice!

Through the ability of the left eye’s Mangekyō Sharingan Dōjutsu, Gyo Tenshin, Madara briefly transferred his own ocular power, Chakra, and consciousness into this body, controlling this body to take action!

The tragic slaughter before was naturally seen by Madara.

However, he did not stop it.

Instead, he secretly used the right eye’s Mangekyō Sharingan Dōjutsu, Kaiten-shin, to gather the Chakra and souls of the dead.

He fed them to the Box of Ultimate Bliss.

As a result, the Chakra was still not enough.

He could not open the Box of Ultimate Bliss!

”If two hundred or so is not enough, then use more people to fill it.”

Madara, controlling Zetsu’s body, showed a calm smile.

Calm and composed, as if he did not take human lives seriously.

”With this pair of Mangekyō Sharingan, the preparations and responses I can make will be even more.”

The eerie, complex-patterned Mangekyō Sharingan continued to rotate slowly, looking at the Box of Ultimate Bliss in front of him.

Madara muttered to himself, ”Perhaps it will be shorter than the time I originally envisaged.”

The Mangekyō Sharingan was the eye that mirrored the heart.

The moment it awakened, its Dōjutsu was already completely determined.

It evolved the corresponding ability based on the state of mind of the eye’s owner at that time.

When Setsuna awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, it was during a battle with Seiryū, who had mobilized the Dragon Vein Chakra and entered Tailed Beast Transformation.

A battle between life and death!

His old, weak self could not even defeat a ten-year-old kid, and instead was suppressed by the other party.

This unwillingness, anger, and helplessness made Setsuna, at that time, want to abandon his old, weak body and desire to possess another young body!

Therefore, the left eye of the Mangekyō Sharingan awakened the Dōjutsu that could briefly control another person’s body, Visual Jutsu: Gyo Tenshin!

A ten-year-old kid could fight him while relying on the Chakra of a monster similar to a Tailed Beast inside his body, firmly suppressing him.

The same unwillingness, anger, and helplessness made Setsuna want to plunder the Chakra of the monster similar to a Tailed Beast inside the other party’s body and turn the other party’s Chakra into his own use!

Therefore, the right eye of the Mangekyō Sharingan awakened the Dōjutsu that could plunder others’ Chakra, Dōjutsu: Kaiten-shin!

Madara also felt that these two Mangekyō Sharingan Dōjutsu were quite useful.

If used well, the plan he had envisioned might be completed faster!

”Next, let me see just how far you can go, and what the origin of that Tailed Beast inside you is, Uzumaki Seiryū.”

Seiryū was very special.

This was the judgment Madara made when he saw the other party slaughtering the Kusa Ninja.

That kind of Golden Chains was not the Uzumaki Clan’s Sealing Jutsu, Adamantine Sealing Chains.

There was a huge difference in essence.

It could not help but remind him of Senju Hashirama’s Wood Release.

Both were so special and unique!

It was also after seeing the other party perform that technique that Madara paid a little more attention to Seiryū.

Previously, he did not think anyone in the Ninja World could stand on the same level as him and Hashirama.

But now this matter needed to be questioned.

Given the special nature and talent of Seiryū, if given time to grow, there was a great possibility of him reaching their level!

This, he had to take it seriously!
