Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

’Hum...’

As Seiryū focused his mind, the Chakra in his body flowed, gathering in his palm and condensing into a special ink-colored formula...

But very quickly.

It seemed unstable. The ink-colored formula in his palm began to wobble.

Finally, it dissipated into pure Chakra...

”It looks like it’s not that easy...”

The first attempt failed, which was within Seiryū’s expectations.

It was true that he had great talent.

But he did not have a Sharingan, which could copy Ninjutsu.

Besides, this was the Flying Thunder God Technique, an S-rank Space-Time Ninjutsu. Even a Sharingan could not copy it successfully...

Hearing Seiryū’s self-talk, Minato smiled. ”If you succeeded on your first try, I would be ashamed of myself...”

Seiryū shrugged. ”Senpai, you still care about this?”

Minato gave a wry smile. ”Being your older brother puts a lot of pressure on me, alright...”

”It’s all because I’m too outstanding, making those around me feel pressured.”

Seiryū sighed, feeling like a sinner.

Then he leisurely let out a breath. ”But this is good too. Pressure creates motivation. I came this way too.”

Minato was speechless. ”...”

The one giving the pressure is you.

What do you mean you came this way too?

”You continue your training. I won’t disturb you. With your talent, I think you should be able to condense the Flying Thunder God Seal within a day.”

”After that, I will teach you how to sense the coordinates of the Flying Thunder God Technique Formula.”

After Minato said this to Seiryū.

He did not disturb Seiryū further and headed toward the others.

”Okay.”

After Seiryū responded.

He continued trying.

Although condensing the Flying Thunder God Seal shared similarities with condensing Sealing Jutsu.

Perhaps because it had the extra function of ”positioning coordinates.”

The difficulty was somewhat higher.

It was not so easy to master.

”Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

Seiryū had his own methods.

He formed the seals to cast the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu.

With a large amount of white smoke rising, hundreds of Seiryūs appeared on the field.

It made the Third Training Ground, which was quite spacious, look very crowded.

Back when he had used developing new Medical Ninjutsu as an excuse, Seiryū had read all the medical books in Tsunade’s study.

By coincidence, he found the Second Hokage’s notes regarding the development of some techniques.

Among them was the development process of the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu.

Through reverse engineering and deduction.

Seiryū had already mastered this Forbidden Jutsu.

High difficulty?

No problem!

If one person’s progress was too slow, then let more people do it together!

This was the intended use of the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!

One Seiryū began to wave his arms and shout, his tone impassioned. ”Comrades, let us master the Flying Thunder God Technique before sunset!”

Another Seiryū responded, ”Ura! As future Soul Kings and cheaters, we are the strongest!”

”The strongest!”

”Who can provide some BGM? Something passionate!”

”Blue Bird! Sing Blue Bird!”

”I don’t know how to sing Blue Bird. How about ’YouSeeBIGGIRL’?!”

”That works...”

”Idiot, stay away from me. We are all Seiryū, but why do you two seem like your brains aren’t working right? Are you actually sick? Don’t infect me!”

”Stop messing around, let’s start! Let’s see who condenses the Flying Thunder God Seal first, and we’ll call that person the best!”

”Then I’m going to get serious!”

”Damn! You’re actually getting a head start? Too despicable!”

”...”

It was very likely that the temptation of the phrase ”call that person the best” was immense.

All the Seiryūs became impassioned.

They began their training in full swing.

The field became lively...

”...”

This scene left the others present somewhat silent, with question marks all over their heads.

To be able to chat so happily with oneself.

That really was something else...

They were also somewhat surprised.

Casting the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu and splitting into hundreds of Shadow Clones to train together.

It was truly a good idea.

However, only members of the Uzumaki Clan could pull off this kind of stunt.

The endurance of Uzumaki Clan members was stronger than that of ordinary people.

This was also a kind of talent.

Others could not envy it...

”This kid is only ten years old, yet he already possesses this amount of Chakra. Although members of the Uzumaki Clan have strong vitality and large amounts of Chakra, this is too exaggerated...”

Jiraiya looked at the hundreds of Seiryūs on the field, ignored their ”sick” behavior, and could not help being astonished.

To be able to split into hundreds of Shadow Clones at once at ten years old.

This amount of Chakra was too exaggerated.

Jiraiya looked at Tsunade and hesitated as he said, ”Given Seiryū’s current Chakra reserves and physical condition, I think he should be able to practice Sage Arts. There’s no need to wait another year or two, right? Why are you stopping him from practicing Sage Arts?”

Chakra reserves exceeding ordinary Jōnin.

Taijutsu capable of resisting Tsunade’s attacks.

He felt Seiryū should have reached the threshold for practicing Sage Arts.

Why did Tsunade want to stop Seiryū from practicing Sage Arts?

Was there some unknown situation?

Was it because of the Dragon Vein sealed within Seiryū’s Strength of a Hundred Seal?

Tsunade crossed her arms, watching Seiryū train over there, and slowly said, ”If Seiryū wants to practice Sage Arts, there are only two channels. The first is Mount Myōboku, where you have a contract, and the second is Shikkotsu Forest, where I have a contract. Which type of Sage Art do you think is more suitable for Seiryū?”

”Are there differences between Sage Arts and Sage Arts?”

Jiraiya was stunned.

He had heard from Fukasaku Sage of Mount Myōboku.

In the Ninja World, only Mount Myōboku, Ryūchi Cave, and Shikkotsu Forest had Sage Art inheritances.

He really had not thought about whether there were differences between the Sage Arts of these three places.

Afterward, Jiraiya said again, ”But if we’re talking about suitability, I think Mount Myōboku is more suitable. After all, I have already mastered Sage Arts, and when Minato was practicing Sage Arts before, I would occasionally go over to help...”

Hearing this, Tsunade nodded noncommittally. ”Right. Precisely because of that, I don’t want Seiryū to practice Sage Arts now.”

Actually, through the ”sparring” with Seiryū a few days ago, the time she forcefully kissed him...

She had also discovered that Seiryū’s physical condition was far stronger than his peers, and with his special constitution as a member of the Uzumaki Clan.

Seiryū had indeed reached the threshold for practicing Sage Arts.

However...

Before she learned Sage Arts, if Seiryū wanted to practice them, he would need to find Jiraiya.

To let the other party help.

Prevent it!

She must prevent it!

She would finish practicing Sage Arts first, and then teach Seiryū.

She did not want Jiraiya involved. She would teach him herself!

Jiraiya: ”...”

He finally understood.

This Tsunade...

She was doing this to prevent him from having more contact with Seiryū, right?

No.

What on earth did he do?

Why was she so disgusted by him?

In the past, although Tsunade was impatient with him, she at least considered their teammate bond. She was hard to get along with, but she was not as disgusted with him as she was now...

It seemed like this situation had only started after she took Seiryū as a disciple.

And it had reached its peak recently!

Tsunade did not pay attention to Jiraiya’s expression. Her gaze did not even shift toward him. She continued watching Seiryū’s side and said, ”I am already practicing Sage Arts with Katsuyu. As for matters regarding Sage Arts, I will teach Seiryū myself. You should continue to go find your so-called Child of Prophecy!”

Jiraiya’s mouth twitched. ”...”

It really was because of this reason!

However, he was somewhat surprised in his heart and could not help saying, ”You really have changed a lot. Since Dan... after they died, I thought you wouldn’t be able to pull yourself together. I didn’t expect that after taking Seiryū as a disciple, you became even more aggressive than before. What kind of magic does this kid have?”

During the Second Shinobi World War.

Tsunade had lost some people and developed hemophobia.

She had become self-destructive and weak-hearted.

No longer suitable to be a qualified Ninja.

Unexpectedly, after taking Seiryū as a disciple.

She had become even more aggressive than before.

She had even started practicing Sage Arts?

”...”

Tsunade knew who Jiraiya was referring to when he said ”they.” Her expression paused, but she quickly returned to calm.

Her emotions did not fluctuate much.

She was no longer dwelling on the past.

Glancing at Jiraiya, Tsunade continued looking at the practicing Seiryū.

Her expression was indifferent, but her tone carried some inexplicable emotion. ”My hemophobia was cured by him. You all should know that, but you don’t know the details.”

”To cure my hemophobia, Seiryū used his own life as a bargaining chip, betting that I could overcome it. If I couldn’t overcome it at that time and was unable to perform Medical Ninjutsu, he would die...”

From that moment on.

Seiryū’s position in her heart could not be shaken by anyone.

Not even by anyone else!

Plus that previous kiss, Seiryū’s position in her heart was not only unshakable, but it also had some inexplicable meaning mixed in.

Hearing Tsunade’s words, Jiraiya was also inexplicably surprised. ”Such a thing actually happened?”

Seiryū actually used his own life as a bargaining chip to cure Tsunade’s hemophobia?

No wonder Tsunade valued Seiryū so much.

So that was it.

Afterward, Jiraiya’s teeth hurt a bit. ”Does this kid have something wrong with his brain? Even doing something like that?”

He also knew that Seiryū would occasionally have ”episodes.”

But this kind of behavior of disregarding his own life made him unable to help but use the word ”sick” again!

He was not a normal person!

”...”

Kurenai was also stunned for a moment. She did not know that such a thing had happened...

Seiryū actually hid it from her and did not tell her, his cute little sister?

Damn it!

Doing such an impulsive thing.

Seiryū did not consider his own body at all.

What if an accident happened?

”Uh...”

Minato and Kushina also looked at each other.

Both saw surprise in each other’s eyes.

They also had some realization in their hearts.

No wonder Tsunade-sama cared so much about Seiryū.

After doing something like that.

Who would not be moved?

Tsunade took a deep breath, felt a headache, rubbed her brow, and said with exhaustion, ”He has done too many things where he was ’sick,’ and his behavior is too extreme. Now I don’t even dare let him leave my sight for too long.”

”I’m afraid that this kid will, at the drop of a hat, try to mobilize the Dragon Vein containing natural energy to practice natural energy control... He is capable of doing that!”

”The effect of that Kaidō is too strong. Ordinary injuries can be healed instantly, and even injuries I am helpless against will be healed...”

”With this Kaidō technique, this kid seems to have the ’confidence’ to not fear injury, and he will do anything dangerous or extreme!”

Seriously injured three times in one year.

What kind of concept was this?

It meant that Kaidō gave Seiryū the ”confidence” to not fear injury.

Plus, Seiryū’s perception of the severity of situations was different from that of ordinary people...

Behaviors that others found dangerous or extreme.

In Seiryū’s eyes, they were just ordinary, mundane things...

Once, twice, three times was good luck.

It was because the effect of Kaidō was heaven-defying.

But what about afterward?

Tsunade did not dare to bet that Seiryū’s luck would be this good every time. If he died, no Kaidō would be useful!

To be honest.

Tsunade now did not dare let Seiryū leave her sight for too long.

She needed to keep an eye on Seiryū at all times, not letting him have the opportunity for his brain to short-circuit and do something even more extreme...

Jiraiya listened to Tsunade’s serious tone and could not help clicking his tongue. ”Seiryū is quite normal when he’s not having an episode, right? Even when he has an episode, he just says some things we don’t understand...”

”An episode is an episode, extremeness is extremeness, and his brain’s perception of things is different from us normal people...”

Tsunade let out a breath. ”Taking a knife to his own carotid artery, using his life as a bargaining chip just to cure my hemophobia. This kind of behavior, in Seiryū’s eyes, is not an extreme thing, just a bolder thing...”

Jiraiya: ”...”

He had a mental image.

Stop talking!

”...”

The others were also silent.

Thinking about it this way, Seiryū’s ”illness” was really quite serious.

It was just a pity that even Tsunade-sama could not cure this illness...

...

Time passed.

Nearly two hours passed.

”I am the first, I succeeded!”

Following a loud shout from one Seiryū, he raised his right hand.

A diamond-shaped ink-colored seal appeared in his palm. This was the Flying Thunder God Seal he had condensed...

This Seiryū laughed. ”Sure enough, using a familiar pattern is easier!”

In the original work.

The Flying Thunder God Seal patterns of the Second Hokage and Minato were different.

This showed that the condensed Flying Thunder God Seal was also based on one’s own preferences.

So this Seiryū chose the more familiar diamond pattern.

The result was that he was the first to succeed!

He was truly amazing!
