Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

’It’s good that we can talk.’

Seeing Seiryū withdraw those intimidating Ninjutsu, Elder Snake, who wore a snake-head mask, breathed a sigh of relief in her heart.

Konoha’s foundation was too deep.

It was simply not something their mere Kusagakure could resist.

A single Genin possessed this kind of strength.

Then what about Tsunade, the Sensei of this Genin?

Her strength was likely even greater!

The Legendary Sannin were, after all, Konoha’s top powerhouses!

Elder Snake did not dare to be negligent at this moment. She ignored the anger of the Kusa-no-Mi faction Ninja and the bewilderment of the Kusa-no-Hana faction Ninja.

She bowed again to Tsunade, who was clearly the one in charge. ”Tsunade-sama, we have no intention of being enemies with Konoha. Regarding the matter of Uzumaki Hina, it is the fault of our Kusagakure, and we will provide some compensation for it.”

Being able to settle the matter peacefully was naturally for the best.

Even if it meant paying a price.

At the same time.

These words were intended to take responsibility.

They were also meant for the people of the Kusa-no-Mi faction to hear.

It was time to stop.

They could not let the conflict escalate. This was something that could be avoided!

”Elder Snake, is this the way your Kusa-no-Hana does things? We have already been humiliated to our faces, and you still intend to bow your head and admit fault?”

But clearly.

The Elder of the Kusa-no-Mi faction, whose mind was clouded by anger, could not possibly understand the meaning in the other party’s words.

No.

It should be said that he did understand.

But he still did not intend to let it go!

The Tiger Elder, who had spoken before and wore a tiger-head mask, stared fixedly at Elder Snake, his tone filled with anger and questioning. ”With such cowardice, do you want to make our Kusagakure a joke?”

As an elder of a village.

To actually do something so cowardly!

If they chose to settle the matter peacefully after suffering such a huge loss, their Kusagakure would become a joke.

A huge joke!

Yes.

They could not compare to Konoha’s deep foundation.

But they were definitely not cowards who feared trouble.

At the very least.

They absolutely could not back down on this matter.

It concerned the dignity of Kusagakure.

”If you don’t want Kusagakure to be destroyed, this is the best choice.”

Elder Snake looked at the Tiger Elder, her tone calm and firm. ”You have no idea how vast the gap in strength is.”

Taking a deep breath, she said coldly, ”If you insist on acting recklessly, your actions will have nothing to do with Kusagakure. It will only be the arbitrary decision of your Kusa-no-Mi faction!”

What a fool.

Even now, did the other party still not understand the situation?

Two elders had been killed so easily.

Could they not see the gap in strength?

These idiots were actually elders alongside her. She did not even know what to say.

Pausing, Elder Snake continued to look at Tsunade, her tone respectful. ”Tsunade-sama, regarding this matter, we of Kusa-no-Hana will not interfere. As for the matter of Uzumaki Hina, it is only the doing of a few people in Kusagakure.”

The meaning of this was very clear.

The actions of a few could not represent the thoughts of Kusagakure.

At the very least, they could not represent the thoughts of Kusa-no-Hana!

Kusagakure was not controlled by the Kusa-no-Mi faction.

Taking one last look at the Tiger Elder and Ox Elder of the Kusa-no-Mi faction, Elder Snake sighed in her heart.

She ordered the Ninja of the Kusa-no-Hana faction, ”All Kusa-no-Hana Ninja, fall back. We will not participate or interfere in this matter.”

Being able to go as a representative of Kusagakure to participate in the Chunin Exams was enough to show that her prestige in Kusagakure was sufficiently high.

Once her order was given, all the Ninja of the Kusa-no-Hana faction fell back.

Even if they were confused, they still obeyed her command.

”Hahaha!”

Listening to Elder Snake’s words and watching the Kusa-no-Hana faction Ninja retreat upon her order.

The Ox Elder could not help but show a mocking smile. ”To be afraid to this extent, worthy of the people of Kusa-no-Hana. Cowardly as mice, afraid of everything. How can you talk about strengthening the Ninja Village!?”

He looked forward, his gaze resting on Tsunade, his tone cold but resolute. ”Although our Kusagakure is not a major Ninja Village, in the face of humiliation, we will absolutely not let this go!”

Pausing, he continued to look at Tsunade and spoke in a low voice. ”I respect you as one of the Legendary Sannin, and I do not wish to offend you, but these two people must be left behind for us, Kusagakure, to deal with!”

He still had some rationality.

Tsunade’s status and position were there.

It would be very troublesome to move against her.

But the other two members of the Uzumaki Clan.

One was their Kusa-no-Mi property, and the other had killed their Kusa-no-Mi people.

They had to be handled by them!

This was an ultimatum.

It was also a choice given to Tsunade.

If Tsunade continued to choose to be their enemy.

Then they would have an excuse to stand on the side of justice.

Even if they killed the other party here, Konoha would not be able to find a reason to blame them. They had already given Tsunade a choice!

”Well done!”

”This is the way our Kusagakure should act!”

”We will not bow to power. Kusa-no-Mi is the key to the revival of Kusagakure!”

”Even if it is the Legendary Sannin, Princess Tsunade, we will not fear!”

The atmosphere in the area was stirred up by the Ox Elder’s words, and the Ninja spoke out one by one.

The Ninja of the Kusa-no-Mi faction all looked at Seiryū and the others with cold, murderous gazes.

It was as if, as soon as the Ox Elder gave the order, or as soon as Tsunade made the wrong choice.

They would kill.

They would kill them right here!

Looking at the Kusa Ninja who were faintly surrounding them, Seiryū did not care much and shrugged at Tsunade. ”They are seeking death themselves. I have already given them many chances.”

Tsunade was silent for two seconds, her expression turning cold. ”It seems you have made your choice. Since that is the case, then you cannot blame me.”

Hand over Uzumaki Hina and Seiryū to them for disposal?

This was a threat to her!

A mere Kusagakure actually dared to threaten her, the Princess of Konoha!

Truly.

They were tired of living!

Since that was the case.

There was nothing more to say.

Just as Seiryū said.

They had already been given a chance.

If they were not sensible, then they could only let these senseless people die.

”You don’t need to make a move. I can handle it myself. You protect them. It’s a good time to use them to test the effects of Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain, since I haven’t used it in actual combat yet.”

Seiryū said this at that moment.

Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain had not really been used in actual combat.

He wanted to see how it performed in a real fight.

Besides, for these small fry.

There was no need for Tsunade to make a move.

’Clatter.’

The Golden Chains extended out again, like tentacles, dancing wildly behind Seiryū.

”Let’s begin. I will take on all of you by myself. You better prepare yourselves.”

Seiryū’s mouth curled into a bloodthirsty smile.

With a tap of his feet.

His figure had already rushed out.

’Clatter. Swish, swish, swish.’

The Golden Chains danced wildly, the spikes at the tips like the scythes of a Shinigami reaping lives.

Under Seiryū’s control, they easily killed some of the weaker Ninja.

’Hum, hum, hum! Boom, boom, boom!’

At the same time.

The tips of other chains condensed into Rasengan, their size becoming that of a basketball.

They smashed down toward some of the Ninja.

”Ahhh!”

”Damn it!”

”Kill him!”

Shrill screams accompanied by angry roars rang out.

The slaughter erupted.

With a ’boom.’

A Chunin was hit by a Big Ball Rasengan. The explosive power of the Rasengan tore his body to shreds, and blood splattered.

’Crackle!’

The sound of electricity rang out, and a beam of lightning pierced through the center of another Chunin’s forehead.

In a short time.

More than a dozen people had already met their deaths!

”Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!”

”Lightning Release: Earth Flash!”

”Wind Release: Wind Blade!”

Some of the stronger Kusagakure Ninja who had dodged the attacks were also forming hand seals.

Each unleashed the Ninjutsu they were proficient in.

There were also Ninja throwing Ninja tools at Seiryū.

Various attacks came from all directions, surrounding and bombarding Seiryū, cutting off all of Seiryū’s retreat paths and trying to kill him.

”Hadō #67: Raimei San!”

The various incoming attacks blocked his retreat.

Seiryū’s expression was calm, but his eyes were filled with excitement and bloodlust.

The pleasure of killing was something he greatly enjoyed.

He formed hand seals with one hand.

In an instant, he unleashed a high-level Hadō.

’Crackle, crackle!’

Piercing sounds of electricity expanded outward, and dense arcs of electricity filled the surroundings.

It seemed to turn into a mist composed of lightning power.

It spread outward with Seiryū’s body as the center.

’Boom, boom, boom!’

All the incoming attacks could not pass through the lightning mist. It was as if they were blocked upon contacting the mist, and the sound of explosions rang out.

They simply could not get close to Seiryū or pose a threat to him!

Hadō #67: Raimei San.

A change in the shape of a Lightning Release Ninjutsu, turning lightning into mist.

Anything that came into contact with the mist would be subjected to a violent attack of high-pressure lightning!

This was a move even more terrifying than Chidori Stream.

Moreover, the attack range was extremely wide.

This mist also seemed very heavy and would not be blown away by wind.

’Crackle, crackle!’

Under Seiryū’s control.

The lightning mist expanded outward.

Anyone who came into contact with the mist had blinding lightning dancing on their bodies. Amidst the screams, another dozen people were electrocuted until they were charred black.

’Boom! Boom! Boom!’

Seiryū was like a human cannon, maintaining the posture of one-handed seals.

Various Hadō, Bakudō, and Ninjutsu were unleashed through the special Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain.

An army of one!

Let alone Genin or Chunin.

Even a Jōnin would appear very disheveled under such dense attacks.

Added to Seiryū’s focused attention, one slip could lead to death.

Among them, the elder wearing the tiger-head mask had also died under Seiryū’s focused attention!

In just a few minutes.

About a hundred people had died at Seiryū’s hands.

The ground was pitted and scarred, a complete mess.

Corpses had piled up, and blood had stained the ground red.

A thick smell of blood spread out.

This scene.

Made the Kusa-no-Hana Ninja who had not made a move tremble with fear.

Their eyes revealed an indescribable look of terror.

”Monster.”

”How can there be such a terrifying person?”

”Numbers simply cannot play much of a role. There isn’t even a possibility of getting close!”

”Too terrifying. At such a young age, he actually has such terrifying strength?”

They were scared out of their wits.

This was not a battle, but a massacre!

The Kusa-no-Mi Ninja were numerous, and it was true that they had a numerical advantage.

However, it did not play much of a role.

There were only a few at the Jōnin level.

Most were Genin or Chunin.

Ninja of this level could not even withstand a normal Rasengan, let alone the unpredictable trajectory of Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain, which was difficult to dodge.

They were almost instantly killed by Seiryū!

The Kusa-no-Hana Ninja inexplicably had a feeling of having survived a disaster.

They were also very glad.

Glad that they had obeyed Elder Snake’s command.

Otherwise.

Even if they had participated, they would have become just another corpse dead at the other party’s hands.

This Konoha Ninja was simply too terrifying!

Even Tsunade, who had experienced the cruel meat grinder of war, could not help but gasp as she watched the fierce slaughter ahead. ”This kid is becoming more and more like a monster.”

She had still underestimated the power of the Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain that Seiryū had developed.

Each chain could unleash different Ninjutsu.

Ordinary Ninja could at most unleash one or two Ninjutsu at a time.

But Seiryū could unleash dozens of Ninjutsu at once.

The gap between them was obvious!

Most importantly.

Except for a few techniques, Seiryū’s techniques were either seal-less Ninjutsu or single-seal Ninjutsu.

This greatly shortened the time Seiryū took to cast techniques.

With the combination of the two.

Seiryū’s attacks could be unleashed almost continuously, as long as Seiryū’s Chakra was still sufficient.

This had another key point.

Seiryū was a member of the Uzumaki Clan with a massive amount of Chakra, and he had also mastered the Strength of a Hundred Seal, which could store Chakra. Inside the Strength of a Hundred Seal, he had also sealed a Dragon Vein comparable to a Tailed Beast.

Thinking of this.

Tsunade could not help but be shocked in her heart.

This kid Seiryū was becoming more and more abnormal.

When had Hina ever seen such fierce slaughter? No, massacre.

She had been scared pale.

A thought also welled up in her heart, that kind of golden chain, was it the Uzumaki Clan’s Adamantine Sealing Chains?

Why was it not quite the same as what her father and mother had mentioned?

Kurenai, who was also watching Seiryū kill, said in a worried tone, ”Tsunade-sama, will Seiryū be alright? He looks really scary like this.”

Every time she saw Seiryū’s bloodthirsty appearance, she was a bit worried.

She was afraid that Seiryū would not be able to return to normal. What should she do then?

Tsunade let out a breath and said with certainty, ”Don’t worry. Although this kid can get overexcited, it is not uncontrollable. As long as the threat is killed off, he will recover.”

Seiryū’s overexcitement was not a one-time thing.

But it was always controllable.

Seiryū would not completely lose his mind. As long as the threat was eliminated, he would recover.

’Boom!’

The high-speed rotating Rasengan tore the stone wall to shreds, and the Golden Chains broke through the sky full of dust and smoke, piercing the elder with the ox-head mask, causing the other party’s life to enter a countdown.

With the death of the Ox Elder.

The Kusa-no-Mi Ninja had also completely lost their will to fight. Fear and despair lingered in their hearts.

”Ahhh!”

”Run! This is a devil!”

”We are simply not his match!”

The number of deaths increased, and even the last elder had died, while the other party had not even been injured.

The Kusa-no-Mi Ninja were also afraid.

They had completely lost their will to fight. They simply did not dare to continue facing Seiryū.

There was only one thought in their hearts, and that was to run, the farther away, the better!

Where there was one, there was a second.

The remaining Kusa-no-Mi Ninja in the area were like headless flies, wishing they could grow a few more legs.

They began to flee in different directions.

”Can you run away?”

The excitement and bloodthirsty light in Seiryū’s eyes became even more intense. His perception locked onto the fleeing Ninja one by one, and he grinned, revealing a cold smile.

’Swish, swish, swish.’

The Golden Chains locked onto the fleeing people and rushed to kill.

They pierced through them from behind, reaping life after life.
