Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Everyone around was stunned at this moment.

Their movements seemed to stop, and the shock in their eyes lingered for a long time.

They all had the same shocked expressions on their faces.

Afterward, intense discussions erupted.

”What terrifying power!”

”Is this a Tailed Beast Ball? It’s an attack rumored to easily destroy a small nation. I never expected to see it in the hands of a brat.”

”You’re telling me this is a Genin? Don’t joke around!”

”.”

Whether it was the people of Konoha or those from other hidden villages, everyone was shocked and stunned by the power of that attack.

If it had been a renowned Shinobi who unleashed a Ninjutsu with such power, perhaps they could have accepted it to some extent.

But the person who unleashed this attack was just a child of about ten years old who had only just entered the Chunin Exams.

This made it all the more terrifying!

Especially for those from other villages, their fear of Konoha’s foundation grew even deeper.

This is a Genin?

Who could believe it!

”Seiryū.”

On the stands, Kurenai opened her small mouth in a daze, her eyes filled with disbelief. ”What kind of Ninjutsu is this? Isn’t this too strong?”

When did Seiryū become so strong?

She was clearly one of the people closest to him!

Shinku was also caught in a daze. ”I don’t know either.”

Had Seiryū grown to this point without anyone noticing?

The Great Elder of the Uchiha Clan, Setsuna, who had once made him feel incredibly wary and caused immense pressure just by facing him, had actually died at Seiryū’s hands just like that.

”Seiryū.”

Rin also felt shocked.

In her heart, she felt that she was growing further and further away from Seiryū.

It seemed that no matter how hard she tried, there was no possibility of catching up to him.

”Tailed Beast Ball? What kind of freak is this kid?”

As the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, Kushina was naturally no stranger to the Tailed Beast Ball.

Although there were some differences, what Seiryū had just unleashed seemed to be a Tailed Beast Ball, right?

What the hell was going on?

How long had it been since he sealed the Dragon Vein within his body?

To be able to utilize the Dragon Vein Chakra to this extent!

As the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, let alone unleashing a Tailed Beast Ball, she couldn’t even manage to mobilize a little of the Nine-Tails’ Chakra.

She had always harbored fear and vigilance toward the Nine-Tails. Whenever the Nine-Tails showed any unusual movement, she would instantly strengthen the seal, not giving the Nine-Tails any chance of breaking free again.

Through the slivers of Chakra that leaked out, the Nine-Tails sealed within Kushina could somewhat perceive the situation outside, and at this moment, its eyes were wide open.

What kind of freak was that kid?

To think he actually managed to figure out the shape transformation for a Tailed Beast Ball?

This kid’s talent was so formidable that even it, a Tailed Beast that had lived for who knew how long, found it unfathomable.

Its past hypothesis was indeed correct. This kid’s future achievements might not be weaker than those two guys, Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara!

Perhaps even stronger!

Because the kid was too young, and his talent was too outstanding!

For some reason.

The Nine-Tails felt a little fortunate at this moment.

Fortunate that its Jinchuriki was Kushina and not that freakish brat.

Otherwise.

Perhaps one day in the future, its power would be completely controlled by the other party, turning it into a tool that provided Chakra for him!

’He has already sealed the Dragon Vein, which is similar to a Tailed Beast. Konoha probably won’t have any plans to make him my Jinchuriki, right?’

The Nine-Tails muttered in its heart.

But it quickly thought of something.

The Nine-Tails’ tails flicked slightly behind it, and its eyes revealed a scarlet color. ’No, even so, I need to find a chance to see if I can kill him. This kid will pose a huge threat to me in the future.’

That’s right.

In the Nine-Tails’ eyes, Seiryū was a threat.

A huge threat.

The Nine-Tails did not want to experience being used like a tool by others again.

And in that kid.

The Nine-Tails saw that possibility.

On the high platform.

”This level of attack intensity.”

Hiruzen watched the commotion coming from the Forest of Death and also fell into a daze.

He quickly came back to his senses and slowly exhaled. ”I still underestimated this kid’s talent.”

He felt shocked and puzzled by everything that had happened.

This kid, Seiryū, had already mastered the power of the Dragon Vein.

He had even unleashed a Tailed Beast Ball with shape transformation.

Was this the kind of performance a ten-year-old child should have?

Even though he had experienced great storms and waves.

He still couldn’t help feeling shocked by what he had witnessed with his own eyes.

It seemed he had still far underestimated the talent of this genius, Seiryū.

It seemed. There would also be some trouble.

The representatives from other hidden villages who were on the same viewing platform were already so shocked that they were dumbfounded.

After coming back to their senses, their thoughts were in turmoil!

The representative from Sunagakure, Chiyo, took a deep breath and muttered, ”It really is a Tailed Beast! And to master the power of a Tailed Beast at such an age, then what about the other Jinchuriki? Could it be that they also.”

The representative from Iwagakure, Kitsuchi, being the son of the Tsuchikage, had some understanding of the relationship between Jinchuriki and Tailed Beasts, and he noticed some things. ”Even if he isn’t a perfect Jinchuriki, it is similar to the situation with Roshi and Han. He can control part of the Tailed Beast’s power.”

The representative from Kumogakure, Dodai, clenched his hands, his eyes carrying a trace of fear and shock. ”Konoha’s foundation is too terrifying. I must report this to the Third Raikage immediately.”

The representative from Kirigakure, Fuguki Suikazan, had an uncertain expression. ”We need to investigate clearly where the other Tailed Beast came from. It is fortunate that we have this Chunin Exams. Otherwise, if a war were to truly break out.”

The other hidden villages had come to this Chunin Exams with the intention of probing.

The result indeed showed them something unusual.

Another Tailed Beast of unknown origin, a Genin who had already mastered Tailed Beast power and could unleash an attack similar to a Tailed Beast Ball.

The tip of the iceberg of power that Konoha had displayed was too terrifying.

If they were to start a war because they were eyeing this fertile land and wanted to target Konoha.

They would need to weigh Konoha’s overall strength.

They absolutely could not act rashly!

Otherwise, it could lead to unpredictable consequences.

”This. This kind of thing. Even Grandma Mito absolutely could not have done it! Not only has he mastered the power of the Dragon Vein, which is comparable to a Tailed Beast, but he can also utilize it freely, and he even used such a powerful technique as the Tailed Beast Ball.”

Tsunade, who was in the arena, was also deeply shocked.

She felt that she would not be able to withstand an attack of that power herself.

In her memory, perhaps only a few people could withstand that kind of attack.

And Seiryū had only just mastered the Dragon Vein not long ago, yet he could already unleash an attack of this magnitude!

This situation could only be attributed to Seiryū’s own talent exceeding all understanding.

Then Tsunade gritted her teeth. ”This kid is good in every way, except for the fact that he occasionally does all sorts of extreme things! Now that even the Great Elder of the Uchiha Clan has been killed, this is going to be a bit troublesome.”

If it were just Ryosuke who had been killed, she wouldn’t feel it was any trouble.

The Chunin Exams were inherently dangerous.

Every Shinobi knew this in their heart.

Participating in the Chunin Exams meant signing a death warrant. Being killed in the exam could only be blamed on one’s own lack of strength, and one could not blame anyone else.

But the situation with Setsuna afterward was different.

She hadn’t heard exactly what the two had said to each other beforehand.

She had only inferred it from what Seiryū told her later.

Without a doubt.

It was Setsuna who had said some threatening words to Seiryū, which caused Seiryū to develop killing intent and attack in anger.

Otherwise, Seiryū would not have made the dangerous move of undoing the Strength of a Hundred Seal and releasing the Dragon Vein sealed within it.

It was just that others didn’t know this!

In the eyes of outsiders, it was Seiryū who first attacked Setsuna and even killed him!

This was really not easy to explain clearly.

The Uchiha Clan would likely not let this rest!

Thinking about these things gave Tsunade a headache.

This kid, Seiryū, was indeed a troublemaker, and she couldn’t just sit by and watch.

Tsunade suppressed the thoughts in her mind, her eyes turning worried. ”And I don’t know what the cost of using this power will be, that hateful brat.”

Would Seiryū, who had unleashed such power, be in danger of losing his life?

This was what she was most worried about.

On this side.

Looking at Setsuna, whose quarter of his body had been annihilated, who had completely lost his vitality, and whose corpse lay in a pool of blood.

Seiryū also slowly exhaled. ”Fortunately, my movements were a bit faster. If I had let him come to his senses and then unleash Susanoo, the Cero from just now might not have been able to kill him.”

At that instant.

Seiryū acutely sensed the suddenly intensifying cold Chakra fluctuations within Setsuna’s body.

This was obviously the situation that only occurred upon awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan.

It was precisely because of the change in his body that Setsuna had a momentary lapse and excitement.

Coupled with the fact that Seiryū had already prepared himself.

He unleashed the Cero at full power at the first opportunity.

Otherwise.

If the opponent had been allowed to release Susanoo, that Cero might have been able to severely injure him, but it might not necessarily have been able to kill him.

The Uchiha Clan’s Susanoo possessed extremely powerful defensive capabilities.

Although the Cero from just now was not weak in power, it might not have really been able to kill the opponent under Susanoo’s defense.

Fortunately.

He had still managed to kill the opponent.

He had resolved a potential threat!

Also at this moment, a ’ding’ suddenly sounded in Seiryū’s mind, and the system prompt played.

[Ding, as the future master of the Three Realms, anyone who provokes the host will pay the price they deserve. Even if their status is a high-ranking member of one of the Five Great Noble Families, the Shiba Clan, they are not exempt!]

[The host’s actions already have the demeanor of the master of the Three Realms. Please continue to work hard, quickly achieve the status of the Soul King, and solve the troubles for the living beings of the Three Realms!]

[Reward obtained: Hadō #67: Raimeisan!]

The sudden system prompt made Seiryū pause, and he raised an eyebrow in surprise. ”A direct reward? It’s the same as when I got Hadō #31: Shakkahō.”

There had been one such situation before.

Obtaining a reward when the system hadn’t triggered a mission.

Hadō #31: Shakkahō was obtained because Seiryū developed the ”Rasengan” as a new ”Kidō.”

However, that had only happened once.

He didn’t expect that this time, killing Setsuna would also trigger the system’s reward mechanism.

Very good!

The system was becoming more and more reliable!

He, as the host, liked it very much. From now on, as long as the system didn’t cause any unexpected trouble, he wouldn’t call it a stupid system, but his good system!

”Cough.”

Just as his mind relaxed, Seiryū suddenly coughed up a large mouthful of blood, and severe pain surged from everywhere on his body, both inside and out.

It made it impossible for him to continue maintaining the Dragon Vein Chakra Mode.

The price had arrived!

And it came so violently and rapidly.

It caught Seiryū off guard!

He didn’t even have time to perform Kaidō on himself to slightly alleviate the injuries within his body, which had reached an extreme point.

”It’s even more severe than the previous injuries.”

Even though Seiryū’s pain tolerance had increased significantly, he felt he couldn’t bear it at this moment.

It was too painful!

The chakra pathways inside his body were severely damaged, and large areas of muscle on his body surface were torn, with bones vaguely visible.

This severe pain was more terrifying than death by a thousand cuts.

The excessive blood loss made Seiryū’s complexion pale and ashen.

The intense pain even made Seiryū have thoughts of dying immediately to end this suffering.

Seiryū discovered that this injury was more severe than the previous two.

If this kind of injury were on anyone else, they would probably have already gone cold by now.

It was just that Seiryū’s situation was relatively special.

And for some reason, although the pain was unbearable for Seiryū, his consciousness was very clear, allowing him to experience the intense pain inside and outside his body even more directly.

Seiryū’s steps faltered, and finally, he was too weak to stand steadily, and he fell backward.

He didn’t crash onto the ground.

Instead, he was caught by a warm body with a faint fragrance.

Naturally, it could only be Tsunade!

Tsunade sucked in a cold breath when she saw the extremely severe injuries on Seiryū’s body.

She didn’t dare delay at all and hurriedly performed Medical Ninjutsu to treat Seiryū and alleviate the injuries on his body.

The gravity on her face and the worry in her eyes could not be hidden.

This injury was too severe.

So severe that she wasn’t even sure she could heal it.

She was a top-tier Medical Ninja, but she wasn’t a god of medicine.

She would also feel helpless against some injuries.

Looking at Tsunade’s worried expression, Seiryū endured the pain inside and outside his body and revealed a mouthful of big white teeth.

He smiled, but his voice was weak. ”Don’t worry, I won’t die. It’s not the first time, so why make that kind of expression? People who don’t know might think I’ve already gone cold.”

”Shut up!”

Tsunade gritted her teeth and shouted in a low voice. Her voice was angry, but it could not hide her care and concern. ”Why are you always like this, always making these dangerous moves!”

”You won’t be that lucky every time. If you’re not careful, you really will die, do you know that!?”

This time, the level of danger Seiryū was in exceeded Tsunade’s expectations.

Even a moment of carelessness could lead to death.

”Isn’t that why you’re here? If you weren’t here, I wouldn’t dare take such risks.”

Lying in Tsunade’s warm arms with a faint fragrance, Seiryū grinned and said these words.

If Tsunade hadn’t been present, he probably wouldn’t have taken such risks.

At least he wouldn’t have unleashed the output of the Dragon Vein Chakra, letting himself fall into a completely berserk state.

At most, he would have forcibly opened the Eight Gates Fifth Gate: Gate of Limit, and maybe tried to open the Eight Inner Gates Sixth Gate: Gate of View.

It was all the fault of this bad woman Tsunade for being there, giving him no worries.

Even if it wasn’t entirely Tsunade’s fault, at least half of it was!!

(To be continued.)
