Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Tsunade stared blankly at Seiryū.

This kid really had a mysterious confidence in her.

But these words also touched Tsunade’s heart.

She then revealed a smile. ”What a brat.”

It was just as well that Tsunade didn’t know what was in Seiryū’s mind.

Otherwise, she probably wouldn’t have been moved. Instead, she would have wanted to string Seiryū up and beat him.

”That’s right, you should smile more. I still like it when you’re smiling.”

Seiryū blinked at Tsunade.

Afterward, Seiryū said, ”I’ll leave the rest to you. It won’t be difficult to handle.”

”The other party broke the rules first.”

”Not only did he use a seal to leave some of his ocular power in Ryosuke’s right eye to ambush me, but he also interfered with the Chunin Exams, and later even threatened me using my family and friends.”

”If he died, it was his own doing.”

”For the Great Elder of the Uchiha Clan to actually do such a despicable thing, he deserves a death sentence.”

Regarding this matter, Seiryū wasn’t too worried. He felt completely justified.

He was forced to act, and killing the other party could only be blamed on the other party’s lack of skill. There was nothing wrong with that.

Originally, it was Setsuna who broke the rules first.

Not only did he use a Transcription Seal to leave part of his ocular power on Ryosuke to ambush him, but he also interfered before the official matches of the Chunin Exams had even ended.

What kind of behavior was that? Damnable behavior!

Even if he hadn’t killed him, the other party definitely wouldn’t have gotten off lightly.

Because his status was quite special. If he had come head-on, no one could say anything if he were killed, but using underhanded tactics changed the meaning entirely.

Listening to Seiryū’s words, Tsunade raised an eyebrow in surprise. ”You kid, you really already considered the consequences after acting, and even thought of the excuses for how to resolve this matter?”

If Seiryū hadn’t brought it up, she really wouldn’t have remembered.

Setsuna intervened in the competition before the official matches of the Chunin Exams had ended. That was indeed breaking the rules.

And he broke the rules in front of Shinobi from other villages. If one were to really investigate deeply, it would be an offense worthy of conviction!

More importantly, Setsuna used a seal to leave part of his ocular power on Ryosuke! What was he trying to do?

She already knew from Seiryū about the past grudges between Seiryū and Ryosuke. That made this behavior somewhat unusual, insidious, and vicious.

Obviously, this was targeted at Seiryū! Then the other party truly deserved to die!!

”This isn’t an excuse, but ironclad fact.”

The pain inside and outside his body was alleviated under Tsunade’s Medical Ninjutsu, and Seiryū felt less uncomfortable.

He spoke up. ”Anyway, I’ve already told you these circumstances. How to handle this matter is up to you.”

Speaking of this, Seiryū suddenly paused.

He suddenly remembered the ”negotiation” between Tsunade and Nagato in the original work. If it weren’t for Tsunade’s ”negotiation,” Nagato probably wouldn’t have been ”carrying rice upstairs” in Konoha.

Seiryū sweated a little and quickly changed his wording. ”See how you talk to Hiruzen. If, under these ’conclusive evidence’ circumstances, you still let me be saddled with some groundless charges, that would be too unreasonable.”

Finally, he narrowed his eyes and sneered. ”However, if the Uchiha Clan is still aggressive and intends to target me.”

”Well, I wouldn’t mind finding another opportunity in the future to go to their clan grounds, release the Dragon Vein, and plow through the Uchiha Clan with the attack I just used.”

What the Uchiha Clan thought, Seiryū didn’t really care.

If they wanted to deepen the grudge between him, Setsuna, and Ryosuke, turning it into a grudge between him and the Uchiha Clan, then sorry.

The system treated the powerful Konoha clan, the Uchiha, as the Shiba Clan, one of the Five Great Noble Families in the Bleach World. The similarity between the two was that both ended up with only a few clan members left!

If they were truly bent on targeting him, perhaps he wouldn’t even need to wait for the future filial son, Itachi, to act. He would have exterminated the Uchiha Clan himself beforehand.

Tsunade: ”...” You paused just now, right? What’s the meaning of that? You think she can’t handle this matter?

And running to the Uchiha Clan grounds to release the Dragon Vein, how did you come up with such a terrifying idea?

Taking a deep breath, Tsunade suppressed the urge to beat Seiryū up. It was just that the kid’s injuries were too severe. If she were to beat him, it would have to be after this brat recovered.

Tsunade said, ”Rest well from now on. I’ll handle the matters here.”

The most important thing now was to stabilize Seiryū’s injuries first. Although Seiryū looked quite energetic, it was probably because his special constitution had played a role.

This kind of injury was so severe that even she felt helpless. She could only stabilize Seiryū’s injuries, not cure them completely.

In the end, it would probably depend on Seiryū’s own Kaidō. To be fair, the effect of Kaidō was simply heaven-defying!!

She formed hand seals to create a Shadow Clone to stay here, while her main body picked Seiryū up in a bridal carry, tapped her feet against the ground, and left the place directly, heading toward her home.

Swish!

At this moment, Hiruzen also flashed over to this side.

He glanced at Setsuna’s corpse not far away.

Afterward, he looked at Tsunade’s Shadow Clone and asked solemnly, ”How is that kid’s condition?”

Even without a close inspection, just by looking at Seiryū, who had become a bloody mess moments ago, he could judge that Seiryū’s injuries were extremely severe.

Not to mention Seiryū’s outrageously exaggerated talent, just the fact that he was a disciple of Tsunade and Jiraiya was enough to make him, the Third Hokage, pay attention and care.

The incredibly talented Seiryū was likely the future of Konoha. There was even a certain possibility he could become a Shinobi with transcendent strength like the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama!!

Absolutely no mishaps must happen to Seiryū!!

Tsunade’s clone said in a deep voice, ”The injuries are very severe. If he wasn’t a person with the special constitution of the Uzumaki Clan, I’m afraid he wouldn’t have been able to endure it.”

”But he won’t die. He developed a special Medical Ninjutsu himself. As long as he can mobilize Chakra, he can heal his injuries, and at most, he will need to recuperate for a period of time like before.”

”However, he probably won’t be able to continue participating in this Chunin Exams.”

It was just that Seiryū’s constitution was special. Not to mention this most severe time, even the previous two times, such injuries on an ordinary Shinobi would likely not even be survivable. Even if they survived, they would likely become crippled.

Hiruzen said calmly, ”It won’t cause any lasting impact on his future, will it?”

Tsunade pondered for a moment before saying, ”That can only wait for the kid himself to judge. I am also helpless against injuries of this degree.”

”What?”

”Let’s not talk about this for now. Let’s consider how to handle this matter. Although Seiryū was forced to act, after all, it was the Great Elder of the Uchiha Clan who was killed in full view of everyone. The Uchiha Clan probably won’t swallow this insult.”

”What exactly happened? Why did Seiryū suddenly attack Setsuna, and even release the Dragon Vein from within the Strength of a Hundred Seal?”

”What else could it be? The death of his own grandson made that old guy Setsuna angry. He couldn’t act in front of everyone, so he could only make threats.”

Tsunade explained, then rubbed her temples. ”And you know Seiryū’s condition. His brain is freaking sick! When he encounters danger, he has over-the-top reactions.”

Hiruzen fell into silence. ”.” He naturally knew about this condition of Seiryū’s. Seiryū’s ”illness” was real.

Once, Ryosuke actively sought trouble with Seiryū and was nearly crippled by the over-the-top Seiryū. This time, Setsuna threatened Seiryū, so it was normal for Seiryū to do such a thing. It was just unexpected that Setsuna was actually killed.

Tsunade looked at Hiruzen, whose expression was changing, and continued, ”Setsuna interfered with the Chunin Exams, already breaking the rules, and also threatened Seiryū with his words.”

”If he died, it was his own doing! If the Uchiha Clan wants to use this to make trouble and harm Seiryū, I don’t mind letting them know my, Tsunade’s, strength.”

If the Uchiha Clan still wanted to take the opportunity to make trouble under the circumstances of ”conclusive evidence,” then she wouldn’t mind letting the Uchiha Clan witness her strength as Tsunade.

Looking at the aggressive Tsunade, Hiruzen was somewhat helpless. He thought to himself, ’This kid Seiryū really has an absurdly high status in Tsunade’s heart, to make her say such things.’

After a pause, Hiruzen said, ”Put away your temper. I will handle this matter well. Since it was Setsuna who made the mistake first, then being killed was his own doing.”

Just knowing this was enough. They were the side in the right. Setsuna broke the rules first, then bullied the young and threatened him. Who could you blame after he was killed? And killed by a Genin under ten years old. He lost all face!

Swish, swish, swish!

Suddenly, the sound of breaking through the air came.

A dozen or so Uchiha Clan Shinobi wearing the Uchiha Clan crest were aggressively heading this way.

The person leading them was none other than the current clan leader, Uchiha Fugaku!

Although Fugaku looked very young at this time, as the clan leader, his strength was not weak. His gaze swept over the two corpses in the field.

After a moment of silence, Fugaku looked at Hiruzen, his expression somewhat gloomy. ”Hokage-sama, Tsunade-sama, I think you need to give our Uchiha Clan an explanation!!”

In full view of everyone, two members of their Uchiha Clan were killed. One of them was even a high-ranking member of the Uchiha Clan, the Uchiha Great Elder, Setsuna!

”Clan Leader Fugaku, I don’t quite understand what you mean by that!” Before Hiruzen could speak, Tsunade looked at the dozen or so Uchiha Clan members, finally landing on Fugaku. She said indifferently, ”Shouldn’t it be you, the Uchiha Clan, who should be explaining to us?”

Tsunade’s voice continued, ”The Great Elder of your clan, Setsuna, disregarded the ongoing Chunin Exams, forcibly broke into the barrier, intending to interfere with the match, and later even threatened my disciple with his words.”

”Is this the style of your Uchiha Clan?” Because she knew what Setsuna had done, Tsunade was full of confidence!

Fugaku’s face darkened. He couldn’t refute some of the things said. It was indeed Setsuna who first broke into the barrier and interfered with the progress of the Chunin Exams. Such an act of overstepping had already broken the rules.

”Interfering with the progress of the Chunin Exams was indeed Great Elder Setsuna’s fault, but that was just an instinctive action out of love for his grandson. After all, your disciple’s methods were too ruthless!”

”And Tsunade-sama says Great Elder Setsuna threatened your disciple? That is a joke!!”

Fugaku said stiffly, ”Great Elder Setsuna is a high-ranking member of our Uchiha Clan and has always held the honor of the Uchiha Clan in the highest regard.”

”With his status, it is impossible for him to do such a thing as bullying the young! Even if he was emotionally unstable because his grandson Ryosuke was killed, he would not do such a thing that would damage the honor of the Uchiha Clan!!”

The Setsuna in his eyes, although somewhat overly harsh to the clan members and often saying ”treasonous” things that others shouldn’t hear, could absolutely not do such a thing that would damage the honor of the Uchiha Clan.

Because he valued his own status extremely highly.

And he had never done anything that violated the status of the Great Elder of the Uchiha Clan.

Fugaku was convinced in his heart that this must be an excuse made up by Tsunade to protect her disciple.

”Hehe, how ridiculous! An old guy who was afraid of his own grandson being killed and acted to interfere with the Chunin Exams. You say such a person wouldn’t do something like bullying the young?”

Tsunade sneered. ”Or are you saying, Clan Leader Fugaku, that you think the death of your clan’s Great Elder is too suspicious? That my disciple Seiryū, for no reason and without any justification, developed the intent to kill your clan’s Great Elder?”

”Just because Seiryū thought your clan’s Great Elder was too ugly or displeasing to the eye, he would risk the possibility of being backlashed by the Tailed Beast inside him and dying, just to kill the other party?”

”Do you think that makes sense?”

After a pause, Tsunade’s eyes turned cold, and her tone was sharp. ”And Setsuna also used a Transcription Seal to leave his own ocular power in Ryosuke’s Sharingan. I think Clan Leader Fugaku shouldn’t be unaware of what this means, right?”

Hearing this, Fugaku was stunned and denied it. ”That’s impossible!!”

If Setsuna left ocular power in Ryosuke’s Sharingan, then his own words just now would collapse.

Such conduct was also shameful and intolerable.

It was a matter of extremely vile nature.

To put it severely, it could cause yet another impact on the relationship between the Uchiha Clan and the village.

”There is nothing impossible about it.” Tsunade scoffed, pointing at the already cold Ryosuke, and said indifferently, ”Whether it is or isn’t, I think Clan Leader Fugaku can go and inspect it for himself.”

She trusted Seiryū’s judgment unconditionally. That kid could not be viewed with common sense. He wouldn’t drop the ball at such a critical moment.

In Ryosuke’s Sharingan, there absolutely remained Setsuna’s ocular power!

And this was the most powerful evidence.

It proved that Setsuna himself was an insidious and vicious person. It wasn’t impossible for him to use words to threaten Seiryū. After all, he had already used underhanded tactics.

And using underhanded tactics was an even bigger issue.

Swish!

Fugaku’s figure flashed, and he had already arrived beside the cold Ryosuke.

He used his hand to pull open Ryosuke’s eyelids.

The left eye was normal.

The right eye had Setsuna’s ocular power.

It was indeed the ocular power left by the Transcription Seal.

Noticing this, Fugaku’s face instantly became gloomy and ugly.
