”This guy...”

Sasori locked his gaze onto Seiryū, and some caution and wariness appeared in his eyes as well. ”He’s actually this ruthless, and his strength isn’t weak either.”

He had seen quite a few ruthless shinobi, but it was rare to see one who was just as ruthless toward himself.

If it had been him in that situation just now.

He definitely would have chosen to block the attack first.

Instead of fighting in such a death-defying way!

”Seiryū, are you alright?”

Kakashi flashed over.

He had also been badly startled just now, not expecting Seiryū to do something so risky.

It was too risky, and too crazy!

He had thought the same thing. If it had been him, he definitely would have blocked the attack first!

”It’s nothing serious.”

Seiryū waved his hand.

He used Kaidō on himself.

His injuries recovered at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Rolling his neck, Seiryū grinned and said, ”That guy is definitely worse off than me. My Rasengan isn’t that easy to take head-on...”

Within his perception.

Shimaichirō’s chakra fluctuations were still there. The Planetary Rasengan had not killed him.

But he definitely would not be feeling good either. The power of Planetary Rasengan was not weak.

Duy, who had also flashed over, let out a sigh of relief, but still could not help saying, ”That was too risky, Seiryū...”

It seemed he had not judged wrong.

Seiryū really was a little off today.

Like he had taken some kind of drug that made people excited.

Seiryū said, ”I know my limits, Uncle Duy.”

If there were real danger to his life, he would not take too much of a risk.

He had his limits under perfect control!

Over here.

Mei looked at Seiryū as if she were looking at a madman, and could not help muttering, ”How is this guy even more insane than our Kiri shinobi? He actually dares to do something like that!?”

She felt that Kiri shinobi were already ruthless and crazy enough.

She had not expected to see someone even more ruthless and crazier here.

Wasn’t it said that Konoha’s ninja training policy was very peaceful?

So how had a life-risking madman like this appeared?

No matter how handsome he was, she would not dare provoke him. Crazy people like this were the most dangerous.

Kisame said nothing, but his eyes were also solemn.

That Konoha shinobi’s behavior had shocked him as well.

Afterward, he flashed to the place that had finally calmed down and helped Shimaichirō up, frowning as he asked, ”Are you alright?”

Shimaichirō was still coughing blood, and he shoved Kisame away.

He looked extremely battered, and his injuries were very serious.

Many of the exposed bones on his body had been broken, and one shocking wound after another bled heavily, staining him into a bloody mess.

His eyes were bloodshot.

No one knew whether it was from the pain or from the anger and killing intent in his heart!

Gritting his teeth, he stared at Seiryū standing on the tree trunk, and his furious, hoarse voice rang out. ”You damned bastard, I won’t let you off! I will definitely make you die!!”

As the young clan head of Kiri’s Kaguya clan, and one of the best among Kiri’s younger generation in strength.

He had rarely suffered setbacks.

And now he had actually been severely wounded by a Konoha shinobi several years younger than him.

That pushed the anger in his heart to the limit!

He swore that he would definitely kill the other side!!

”Hehe, looks like I still haven’t crushed your confidence. Then let’s continue.”

Hearing Shimaichirō’s threat, the expression on Seiryū’s face became even more ”happy.”

Like some deranged lunatic.

Forming a hand seal with one hand.

The chakra inside Seiryū’s body surged wildly.

When a shinobi released a ninjutsu, there was some presence and momentum to it.

Sometimes, from that released presence and momentum, one could vaguely judge the power of a ninjutsu as well..

At this moment, the presence and momentum bursting from Seiryū had already far surpassed the level of a Genin.

Seiryū spread the five fingers of his hand and aimed them at the three Kiri shinobi below, the smile at the corner of his mouth unchanged. ”I hope you can withstand this ninjutsu of mine.”

”Hadō #63...”

The gathered Hadō was not released.

Seiryū’s sharp perception seemed to notice something, and the chakra flowing inside his body stopped at that moment.

He gave up on continuing the Kidō!

Instead, he narrowed his eyes and looked toward one direction, his expression turning grave.

Someone was approaching from that direction, and the chakra fluctuations were very strong!!

Without question, this kind of chakra fluctuation was absolutely Kage-level!

What was going on?

Why had a Kage-level expert sneaked into the Chunin Exams!?

Seiryū felt both confusion and gravity in his heart.

So he did not dare act rashly.

”Oh? You actually discovered my presence right away. How impressive...”

A few seconds later.

A young man in his twenties, wearing a bamboo hat and a village forehead protector around his neck, stepped out from the shadows.

The young man in the bamboo hat looked at Seiryū and said with a smile, ”That kind of perception seems to be called the Mind’s Eye of the Kagura, right?”

”And that fast-healing ability just now, even among the Uzumaki clan, it’s a power that only a small number of people can awaken. As expected of Konoha’s strongest genius.”

Mind’s Eye of the Kagura, special physique.

Even in the Uzumaki clan during its peak days, only a small number of people had such abilities.

At the same time.

Because of this person’s appearance, everyone else in the area also became alert.

The moment he appeared, they all felt as if the air had solidified.

Without question, this person was very strong.

Seiryū stared at this guy who had appeared out of nowhere, frowned, and asked gravely, ”Who are you? I don’t remember there being someone like you in this Chunin Exam.”

The other party’s chakra fluctuations were somewhat strange. He had probably done something to disguise them.

For shinobi proficient in assassination, disguising chakra fluctuations was not difficult.

As long as they adjusted and altered the ”nature” of the chakra inside their body, it could be done.

It was similar in principle to training chakra nature transformation.

Not just chakra fluctuations, even the scale of one’s chakra could be concealed through certain methods.

For example, some shinobi proficient in the Transformation Technique, after transforming, had voices, body scent, chakra fluctuations, and chakra quantity exactly like the person they had transformed into.

The only thing that could not be changed was certain behavioral habits at times.

Without question.

The person in front of him had most likely used the Transformation Technique, or some other method, to hide his chakra fluctuations and conceal his identity.

So then.

The question was.

What was the purpose of a Kage-level expert who had hidden his identity appearing here?

Tsunade had never mentioned there would be such a part in this Chunin Exam!!

The young man in the bamboo hat subconsciously licked his lips, his tone full of mockery. ”As you can see, I am a Genin from Takigakure.”

Right now... he was a village Genin!!

Seiryū narrowed his eyes.

That familiar lip-licking motion.

And those chakra fluctuations, which were disguised but still gave him a cold feeling.

Could it be Orochimaru!?

(To be continued.)
