Facing the incoming Great Fireball, Seiryū’s gaze was sharp, and he did not dare be careless.

He lifted his right leg and stomped heavily on the ground.

In an instant, chakra surged and erupted through his leg.

Power poured out, and the ground trembled at that moment.

Under his precise control of force, a huge stone rose up from the ground in front of him.

Clang clang clang! Boom!

The shuriken slammed into the giant stone with dull thuds, and the Great Fireball that came behind crashed down. In an instant, roaring explosions rang out one after another, and flames burst apart.

The giant stone shattered under the bombardment of the Great Fireball, and countless fragments shot in every direction.

”All of your movements are completely visible before these eyes of mine!”

From within the smoke and dust, a cold voice rang out.

The three-tomoe Sharingan in his eyes spun rapidly, locking onto Seiryū’s figure.

With a step, he lunged forward.

At some point, a short blade had appeared in his hand, and he slashed down with it, the attack swift and accompanied by the howl of wind.

Bakudō #58, Kakushitsuijaku, could capture chakra fluctuations, eliminating the possibility of Seiryū being ambushed.

Seeing the blade descending like a streak of light, Seiryū casually raised a hand to block.

Chakra surged and rotated, condensing into a small chakra shield that blocked the falling blade.

After that, a small shockwave burst out and knocked the blade aside.

This was Bakudō #8, Seki.

”Rasengan.”

The moment he knocked the opponent’s blade away, a nearly instant Rasengan formed in his hand.

Seiryū pressed the Rasengan toward him, the buzzing sound unbearably shrill.

”Too slow!”

He snorted coldly.

With the powerful dynamic vision of his eyes, the incoming Rasengan seemed to slow down in his senses.

His body shifted to the side, lightly avoiding the incoming Rasengan.

At the same time, he circled to Seiryū’s left side, raised the short blade in his hand again, and slashed down, intending to cut off Seiryū’s right arm.

The short blade fell, but it was blocked again.

Seiryū’s surging chakra turned into a small chakra shield, blocking this unavoidable strike.

Then Seiryū swiftly turned, and the Rasengan in his hand came crashing down again, aiming straight for his chest.

”Don’t underestimate me!”

This time, he did not choose to dodge, but gripped the short blade in his right hand.

Flames rose and coiled around the blade as he slashed down fiercely, colliding with Seiryū’s pressing Rasengan.

Boom!

At that moment, their attacks clashed, and a thunderous roar rang out.

Under the collision.

Cracks split open in the ground beneath their feet.

Centered on their bodies, a shockwave spread outward.

Kicking up smoke and dust across the arena.

Within the smoke and dust.

Two figures, one on the left and one on the right, retreated at the same time, their legs scraping across the ground for some distance before they finally stopped.

”Heh, not bad, really not bad. You really are strong!!”

Steadying himself.

His three-tomoe Sharingan stared fixedly at Seiryū ahead.

A grim and excited smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. ”But only if you’re this strong will my revenge feel even better!”

”If you’re too weak, then it would be far too boring. Come on, I’ll let you die in true despair!!”

Only if the opponent was strong enough would his revenge feel better.

If Seiryū were defeated too easily, then although the hatred buried in his heart would be vented.

It still would not be satisfying enough.

He wanted a full and exhilarating battle against Seiryū.

Then, after that, he would crush him with even greater power.

He wanted Seiryū to be killed cruelly by him in shock and helplessness.

It was not just physical revenge, spiritual revenge could not be left behind either.

Only then would he feel even more delighted!!

With a vicious grin, he formed hand seals, chakra surging through his body as his chest swelled again. ”Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique!”

Whoosh!

A gigantic fire dragon over ten meters long tore out, its flames illuminating the surroundings.

The fire dragon’s body writhed as it lunged at Seiryū, carrying overwhelming momentum, while the heatwave struck first.

At that moment, the temperature in the arena rose sharply, becoming incomparably scorching!

The chakra fluctuations had become even colder.

As the heatwave hit him, Seiryū muttered inwardly, and his eyes narrowed slightly.

His dōjutsu power had increased at that moment.

Seiryū naturally knew what that meant.

Looking at the enormous fire dragon tearing toward him, Seiryū formed a seal with his left hand alone while extending his right hand forward. ”Hadō #37, Tsuriboshi!”

Boom!

The huge fire dragon surged forward, while an extremely dense sphere of water blasted ahead.

Under the gaze of countless spectators.

The two jutsu collided in the middle, one from the left and one from the right. In an instant, a tremendous explosion rang out, and surging wind pressure swept in all directions.

Water and fire were opposing elemental powers to begin with, and the impact created an especially violent commotion.

A huge cloud of steam rose into the sky, blocking everyone’s vision.

...

The next moment.

Within the arena filled with steam.

A dense, continuous sound of clashing metal rang out.

From time to time, sparks flashed from violent collisions of metal.

They came from two ghostlike figures holding ninja tools, crossing back and forth within the steam, attacking and colliding with each other.

Every collision caused the surrounding steam to shake.

In one section of the stands.

Kurenai looked nervously at the battle below. The steam blocked her view, and she could not see clearly.

She could not help clenching her little fists tightly, as if praying. ”Be careful, you absolutely can’t let anything happen!”

She had already grown used to having Seiryū by her side. If something happened to him.

She did not know what she would do.

Absolutely nothing could happen to Seiryū!

Shinku rubbed Kurenai’s head and comforted her, ”Don’t worry, Seiryū will definitely win!”

But his heart was also somewhat heavy, and his gaze never left the arena below.

Beside them, Rin was also somewhat nervous, pursing her lips as she looked below and prayed inwardly, Come on, Seiryū, you’ll definitely win!

Also in the same section of the stands, Kushina patted Rin on the shoulder and smiled. ”Rin, don’t worry, Seiryū will be fine!”

Then she turned to Minato. ”Minato, right?”

Minato’s expression was somewhat serious as he said earnestly, ”Hard to say. He still hasn’t gotten serious. A three-tomoe Uchiha can’t possibly only have this much strength.”

Kushina was speechless.

Did he have no sense for the mood at all?

Poking Minato in the waist, she said with a fake smile, ”You just need to say yes.”

Minato froze for a moment, then realized something and nodded. ”Mm, Seiryū will win!”

On the other side, in the waiting area.

The other examinees in the final round were also watching this battle.

Kakashi’s expression was serious as he stood by the window and looked down below. ”He’s very strong. A three-tomoe Sharingan really can’t be underestimated.”

Duy, on the other hand, said, ”Neither of them has gotten serious yet. Right now, they’re only testing each other.”

(To be continued.)
