Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Time passed quickly.

In the blink of an eye, three months had gone by.

Winter had passed, and the weather was beginning to shift toward the dry heat of summer.

During these three months, aside from carrying out a few squad missions, Seiryū spent most of his time training.

Because of his exceptional talent, he could already execute the Flying Thunder God Technique perfectly, with proficiency no inferior to Minato’s.

At the same time, Seiryū also took the time to master many other Sealing Jutsu of the Uzumaki Clan.

Naturally, they were taught by Kushina.

Among them were the Adamantine Sealing Chains!

Without a doubt, Seiryū was indeed a true member of the Uzumaki Clan.

He could manifest the Adamantine Sealing Chains, a technique similar to a Kekkei Genkai that only the Uzumaki Clan could learn. This was the strongest proof!

It was worth mentioning that after learning and mastering the Adamantine Sealing Chains, the system in his mind sounded another prompt.

At this moment, in the backyard of the Yūhi Family.

’Chi, chi, chi! Pop, pop, pop...’

Strips of thick Golden Chains pierced out from Seiryū’s body, dancing in midair like spirit snakes.

Every time they lashed out, they emitted a sharp, piercing sound as they tore through the air.

It was as if the air itself had been blasted apart...

’Hum, hum, hum...’

Afterward, under Seiryū’s control, a Rasengan formed on the sharp tip of each golden chain, humming without stopping...

”Sure enough, it can be done!”

Looking at this scene, a smile appeared on Seiryū’s face.

These Golden Chains were like extensions of his limbs, and he could even circulate Chakra through them.

Being able to circulate Chakra meant he could perform Ninjutsu.

This was an idea and attempt that had occurred to him on a whim.

It had actually succeeded!

Seiryū rubbed his chin and pondered, ”The Adamantine Sealing Chains, which only the Uzumaki Clan can perform, can be considered the Uzumaki Clan’s ’Kekkei Genkai,’ right? That’s why the system judged it as a type of Fullbring...”

”By that logic, is a bloodline-related Kekkei Genkai equivalent to a Fullbring?”

”If I remember correctly, the essence of a Fullbring user’s power comes from fragments of the Soul King.”

”The common point between the two is that they both require specific conditions. One needs the Uzumaki Clan’s bloodline, while the other needs fragments of the Soul King in the body...”

Not long ago, when Seiryū had just learned and mastered the Adamantine Sealing Chains, the system prompt that sounded in his mind was,

[Ding, congratulations to the host for awakening Fullbring and completing another important factor for the achievement of the Soul King!]

[Reward obtained: Fullbring aptitude increased!]

The Adamantine Sealing Chains, which only the Uzumaki Clan could perform, were treated as a type of Fullbring by the system.

Thinking about it carefully, the two did indeed share some similarities...

Uzumaki Clan bloodline = fragments of the Soul King’s body?

Seiryū felt that this was quite reasonable...

The reward obtained was an increase in Fullbring aptitude.

How should this reward be described?

It should be the same as the initial Spiritual Power aptitude increase.

Perhaps because of this reward, Seiryū’s Adamantine Sealing Chains were different from Kushina’s Adamantine Sealing Chains.

Kushina’s Adamantine Sealing Chains were used more for sealing, binding, and creating barriers...

Whereas Seiryū’s Adamantine Sealing Chains had some differences in terms of sealing, binding, and creating barriers...

These Golden Chains were like extensions of Seiryū’s limbs, allowing Chakra to flow within them.

This was very interesting.

The Golden Chains formed by the Adamantine Sealing Chains were themselves condensed from Chakra, so how could one talk about letting Chakra flow within Chakra?

However, Seiryū was able to do it.

This was the biggest difference!

Seiryū felt that this change should have been brought about by the system’s reward of ”Fullbring aptitude increased”...

Controlling the Golden Chains to disperse the Rasengan, Seiryū muttered to himself, ”Being able to perform Rasengan means I should be able to perform other Jutsu as well. This is equivalent to having a few extra arms.”

”It seems quite useful, even more convenient than that guy Kakuzu’s silk tentacles...”

The Golden Chains were like extensions of Seiryū’s limbs.

It was equivalent to having a few extra arms.

This usefulness was not small.

These Golden Chains could not only be used as weapons to directly attack enemies, but also to perform Ninjutsu for attacks.

Seiryū, who could perform Ninjutsu with one-handed seals, could already be considered a mobile turret.

Now, he had even more ”gun barrels.”

As long as there was enough Chakra, Seiryū being a one-man army was really not a joke...

”Forget it, I’ll research it later. There’s a mission today, so I’ll go wake Kurenai up first...”

There was a squad mission today, so Seiryū did not continue training.

After taking a shower, Seiryū went to Kurenai’s room to wake her up.

”Aha~”

With her long hair somewhat messy and her eyes sleepy, Kurenai yawned very cutely.

She said groggily, ”So early today? Oh right... it seems there’s a mission today?”

”Wait for me, I’m going to change clothes...”

Not long after, wearing a set of red kimono-style clothes, with a black sash at the waist, the hem above her knees, slender legs covered in short black stockings, and small black boots...

A youthful, lively, and cute girl appeared before Seiryū’s eyes.

The ten-year-old Kurenai was becoming increasingly cute.

She also seemed to have started developing, just showing the tip of the iceberg.

Looking at Kurenai’s outfit, Seiryū nodded with a smile. ”Not bad, not bad. This set of clothes really suits you. You look so cute.”

”Hee hee!”

Praised by Seiryū, Kurenai’s face flushed slightly, and she put her hands on her hips in a tsundere manner. ”I am the cutest and best-looking Kurenai!”

”It’s mainly because this set of clothes matches you very well. As expected of something I bought, my taste is just that good!”

”It’s okay, I guess. The one I had my eye on before was also very good-looking...”

Thinking of the clothes Kurenai had taken a fancy to, Seiryū immediately shook his head. ”It looked just like a mummy. How was that good-looking?”

”Eh?”

Kurenai tilted her head, and her tied ponytail swayed along with it.

Then she sighed like a little adult. ”You don’t understand. That’s what gives it a shinobi style. One has to be a little unique. I even wanted to put on purple eyeshadow. It would look very classy!”

Seiryū’s mouth twitched. ”Classy, my foot. It doesn’t look good at all. This is better. From now on, your clothes will be chosen by me.”

Although Kurenai in the original work was also quite good-looking, her unique fashion sense and the purple eyeshadow she wore ruined her natural temperament...

It was not that she was not good-looking, but rather that Seiryū felt it did not look good!

Hearing this, Kurenai did not refute it and nodded. ”Fine, as long as you like it.”

In her heart, however, she was thinking.

She would wear whatever Seiryū liked.

And Seiryū indeed liked girls’ feet.

Especially after she put on the short black stockings, the frequency with which he looked at her feet was much higher than before.

She felt a bit shy, and also a bit happy...

Seiryū said very seriously, ”Trust my... taste. You look super invincibly cute like this. Even I’m a little moved!”

”Umm...”

Kurenai turned bright red because of this sudden sentence...

...

They decided to go to Tsunade’s house for breakfast.

Seiryū and Kurenai told Yūhi Shinku, the head of the family.

After listening to his instructions, Seiryū used the Flying Thunder God Technique to arrive at Tsunade’s house...

The Flying Thunder God Technique really was convenient!

In front of Tsunade’s door.

”This time, I will be watching you!”

Kurenai looked at Seiryū very seriously, her little face stern, and said truthfully, ”If you dare to do anything dangerous, I... I will...”

Unable to think of anything that could ”threaten” Seiryū, she hummed. ”I will ignore you!”

Seiryū had left the village twice to carry out missions, and both times he ended up seriously injured.

This time, she had to keep a close eye on Seiryū.

She absolutely could not let Seiryū do anything too dangerous!

”Lightning doesn’t strike twice. This time, it definitely won’t happen. Even against that S-rank Rogue Ninja Kakuzu from before, I have the confidence to retreat unscathed now.”

Seiryū did not take it to heart.

Lightning doesn’t strike twice.

Now his strength was not what it used to be.

Plus, having mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique, his mobility was even higher.

No matter who he encountered, he had the confidence to retreat unscathed.

It was impossible for him to get injured again!

Reaching out to rub Kurenai’s head and messing up her hair, Seiryū laughed. ”Also, when have I ever needed you, my stupid little sister, to worry?”

”Don’t mess up my hairstyle!”

’Slap,’ she swatted away Seiryū’s hand. Kurenai lifted her head slightly. Now, she was much shorter than Seiryū...

She lightly hummed. ”You have a track record. You’ve been injured several times!”

Seiryū sighed. ”Except for the first time, when I took a risk to try Senjutsu Chakra, the rest were all accidents, okay? I didn’t want that either...”

If one had to talk about dangerous actions, it was only that time with Kakuzu.

The others were all accidents.

One was the system tricking him, and the other was Tsunade tricking him.

Seiryū still wanted to curse!

”Anyway, I will keep an eye on you this time. If you do anything dangerous again, I will really ignore you, okay? From now on, when I buy dango, I will only buy it for myself!”

”Ah, then I beg you, don’t ignore me, and don’t just buy for yourself. I’m so scared! Please!”

Listening to Seiryū’s strange emphasis, Kurenai’s face darkened. ”Go to hell!”

”Hahaha!”

”...”

Familiar with the routine, he opened the door to Tsunade’s house and took a peek inside. Only the kitchen had movement.

It was Shizune cooking...

With a sweep of his perception, he found that this bad woman Tsunade was still in her room.

Seiryū shook his head.

He complained, ”What time is it already? This bad woman is actually still sleeping? What is she doing? Can she act even a little like a Jōnin Instructor?”

”Seiryū, Kurenai, you’re here?”

At this moment, Shizune’s head poked out from the kitchen.

After greeting them, she explained, ”Tsunade-sama seemed to have come back very late last night, so... today’s mission will be postponed by an hour. She asked me to tell you...”

Seiryū narrowed his eyes. ”What did she go do last night?”

Tsunade had been rather busy during this period.

Except for when she was carrying out missions, when her main body was present, the rest of the time... the one watching him was a Shadow Clone...

Don’t ask why Tsunade was watching him.

In Tsunade’s words, it was to prevent him from taking risks and trying dangerous moves like using Dragon Vein Chakra!

This made Seiryū a bit helpless.

He did indeed have that thought.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder at work!

After all, Kaidō gave him a lot of confidence.

As long as the injury was not serious enough to affect his mobilization of Chakra, a single Kaidō could heal it.

But with Tsunade watching him, he really did not have a chance to try.

Shizune shook her head. ”I don’t know either, but it wasn’t to gamble, nor to drink. I guess maybe she is practicing some kind of Ninjutsu?”

”Practicing some kind of Ninjutsu?”

Seiryū was stunned for a moment, and his expression became a little strange. ”This bad woman wouldn’t really be afraid that my strength will surpass hers to the point where I can hang her up and beat her until she can’t get out of bed, so she started working hard, right?”

Tsunade, this person, would also start practicing hard?

Because he had been busy practicing during this period, he had not paid much attention to what Tsunade was busy with...

”Uh, I don’t know about that.”

Shizune did not want to get involved in the ”struggle” between these two, and she really did not know the reason.

She laughed awkwardly. ”You guys sit down first. Breakfast will be ready soon.”

Kurenai volunteered, ”Shizune, I’ll help you!”

The two little lolis were making breakfast.

Seiryū did not go disturb them.

Idly, he walked toward Tsunade’s bedroom.

He muttered to himself, ”Could it be that she is practicing Senjutsu? With this bad woman’s possessiveness toward me, is she planning to wait until she masters Senjutsu before teaching me?”

If she was practicing some kind of Ninjutsu, there was a high possibility it was Senjutsu.

Because Tsunade did not want him to have too much contact with Jiraiya.

It was very reasonable for her to learn Senjutsu herself and then teach him.

’Pop, pop, pop!’

Having arrived at Tsunade’s bedroom door, Seiryū started knocking.

The noise was so loud that even Kurenai and Shizune in the kitchen could hear it...

The two looked at each other, speechless, both somewhat helpless...

It was just Seiryū.

If it were anyone else who dared to do this, they felt that person definitely would not live to see tomorrow...

Knocking on the door until it made ’pop, pop’ sounds, Seiryū started shouting, ”Open the door. Stop sleeping. Get up quickly, or else I’m going to barge in!”

”Stop making noise! If you have the guts, roll in!!”

Tsunade’s irritable voice came from inside. One could tell there was some anger...

Seiryū: ”...”

This woman really had a bad temper.

And she was threatening him?

”Heh...”

Seiryū did not care about Tsunade’s anger.

If she had the ability, she could hit him.

He would hold a grudge.

And then retaliate twice as much in the future!

Pushing open the bedroom door, Seiryū walked in.

The first thing he smelled was a faint fragrance, and then he saw... Tsunade... sitting on the edge of the bed, changing clothes.

Clearly, Seiryū pushing the door open made Tsunade’s clothes-changing movements freeze.

”Uh...”

Although he only saw her back, that crystal-clear white skin and the long golden hair draped casually over her shoulders still made Seiryū unable to help being stunned.

His heartbeat sped up...

Realizing something was wrong, Seiryū hurriedly explained, ”Let me say this first, you told me to come in, and I didn’t see anything!”

”...”

Tsunade did not speak.

She turned her head slightly, only revealing half of her face to Seiryū, her left eye staring at him.

The corner of her mouth curled into a smile, but no matter how one looked at it, it seemed dangerous. ”Very good, your guts are getting bigger and bigger! I told you to roll in, and you really rolled in?”

This kid actually came in?

He really treated her bedroom like his own home, didn’t he?

”...”

When Seiryū saw Tsunade’s expression, his heart tightened involuntarily.

He hurriedly turned around, not looking at what he should not, and laughed dryly. ”I am the most obedient person. Didn’t you tell me to come in? If I didn’t come in, wouldn’t that mean I had no guts? How could I accept such slander?”

Behind him, Tsunade did not speak. There was only the rustling sound of her putting on clothes.

Just over ten seconds later, footsteps drew closer.

In Seiryū’s senses, it was like the Reaper was walking toward him.

Sweat even broke out on his forehead.

It’s over, it’s over, it’s over!

A fragrant breeze brushed past him, and strands of golden hair hung down beside Seiryū’s ear...

Tsunade leaned close to Seiryū’s ear. Her tone was indifferent and calm, but it sounded like the Reaper’s whisper. ”Did you see it?”

Seiryū’s body trembled, and he swallowed. ”If I say no... would you believe me?”

”Hehehe, what do you think?”

The soft laughter, accompanied by warm breath, brushed against Seiryū’s ear, making him shiver uncontrollably.

His movements became a little stiff...

Looking at Seiryū’s stiff movements, Tsunade suddenly laughed. ”You little brat, so you do have times when you’re afraid? That’s really interesting!”

Her left hand pressed down on Seiryū’s right shoulder, and Tsunade’s voice became soft and gentle. ”Tell me, now that you’ve seen my body, how are you going to handle this matter?”
