Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”What did you say?” Tsunade was stunned for a moment.

Then she looked surprised. ”There is a member of the Uzumaki Clan here, and one who has awakened the same special constitution as you?”

”Are you sure your sensing is correct?”

Here in Kusagakure, there was actually a member of the Uzumaki Clan who had awakened the same special constitution as Seiryū?

Seiryū nodded. ”I am not entirely sure yet, but the Chakra on the other person is indeed unusual, possessing very strong vitality.”

”It is similar to the Chakra I use when performing Kaidō.”

”Where is it?” Tsunade’s expression became serious.

Although the Land of Whirlpools had been destroyed, it was once an ally of Konoha. Coupled with the fact that she herself possessed the bloodline of the Uzumaki Clan, she naturally attached great importance to members of the Uzumaki Clan.

If it really was a member of the Uzumaki Clan, she would not sit idly by. At the very least, she needed to check on the other person’s situation.

Members of the Uzumaki Clan who awakened a special constitution, because they possessed special healing abilities, would be targeted by others. They might even be treated as human medicine packs.

If that were the case, even if it meant offending Kusagakure, she would take that member of the Uzumaki Clan away!

”Follow me, it’s this way.” Seiryū knew what Tsunade was thinking.

After learning that Seiryū was a member of the Uzumaki Clan who had awakened a special constitution, Tsunade had warned him. It was best not to tell others about this. Otherwise, he might be coveted by others.

Following his senses, Seiryū walked in front, followed by Tsunade, Kurenai, and Shizune. After bypassing a few streets, they arrived at a remote area, where a dilapidated house stood in front of them.

Before they could get too close, they heard voices coming from inside the house.

”Hurry up, what are you dawdling for?”

”Let me go first. I overtrained today, my muscles are exhausted, and now even moving is painful!”

”You only overtrained. I got injured while on a mission, so I should go first!”

”Stop arguing, it will only take a moment anyway. Can’t you even wait that long?”

Afterward, a soft, thin female voice rang out, sounding somewhat weak. ”My lords, I am a bit tired today. Could you wait until tomorrow?”

”Scoundrel, do you want me to spend the rest of the day dragging my exhausted body around?”

”My injury cannot be delayed! What if it leaves behind long-term effects?”

”Hmph! Tomorrow? By tomorrow, my injuries will have healed. What use would I have for you then?”

Finally, that soft, weak female voice spoke again. ”I, I understand, my lords.”

Outside the door, Tsunade’s face darkened when she heard these words. ”Damn it!”

The thing she least wanted to see had happened. This member of the Uzumaki Clan was being treated as a human medicine pack by the Ninja of Kusagakure.

”So it is true?” Seiryū sighed. However, a cold look appeared in his eyes.

In the original story, Karin and her mother were treated this way by the people of Kusagakure. It even caused Karin’s mother, a member of the Uzumaki Clan with a special constitution, to die from Chakra exhaustion. One could only imagine what kind of inhuman abuse they had gone through.

Originally, Seiryū thought this might not happen in the current timeline. But he did not expect that at this point in time, the people of Kusagakure were already doing this to Karin’s mother!

”You dare to force her? You are truly tired of living!” Sensing something, Seiryū snorted coldly.

’Clatter!’

Golden Chains spread and grew from Seiryū’s body, moving like spirit snakes, and also piercing forward like sharp arrows.

”What is this?”

”Damn it!”

”Enemy attack!”

”Argh!”

The next moment, sounds of astonishment and anger rang out, followed by a scream that echoed.

’Boom!’

With a roar, the house in front was directly ripped open by the Golden Chains. Wooden planks and straw flew everywhere, and three Ninja retreated using the Body Flicker Technique.

’Hum!’

A gust of wind suddenly picked up, blowing away the stirred-up dust. The situation inside the house was clearly revealed before their eyes.

A short, fat middle-aged man was pierced through the chest by the Golden Chains, hanging in mid-air as a large amount of blood flowed down.

His eyes were full of terror as he cried out for help to the few who had retreated. ”Save, save me.”

”Wh-what’s going on!?”

Not far away, a beautiful young woman with bright red hair, looking to be seventeen or eighteen years old, was full of panic. She did not understand what was happening.

And on her exposed arms, there were clear bite marks.

”Scoundrels!” Tsunade looked at the scene immediately, and upon seeing the bite marks on the red-haired young woman, a look of anger appeared on her face.

Kurenai pursed her lips. ”How could there be so many bite marks?”

Shizune frowned. ”To do such a thing to a girl, it is truly unforgivable!”

They did not know that some members of the Uzumaki Clan would awaken a special constitution that allowed them to heal injuries through biting. However, those shocking bite marks also made the two young women feel angry!

To do such a thing to a young girl was simply unforgivable!

A young Kusagakure Ninja who had reacted looked vigilantly at the four Konoha people and shouted in a deep voice, ”Who are you people? Stop what you are doing immediately!”

Another burly middle-aged man also said coldly, ”You dare to cause trouble in Kusagakure?!”

A thin man who had also dodged and retreated barely spoke, taking a signal flare from his Ninja tool pouch and firing it into the sky.

’Bang!’

The signal flare shot into the sky, exploding into fireworks. The red smoke was blindingly bright. This was the way to notify the Ninja in the village when an emergency occurred!

Tsunade glanced at the other three Kusagakure Ninja and said to Seiryū, ”Make them shut up!”

After speaking, Tsunade walked toward the red-haired young woman who was still somewhat shaken.

”Understood.” Seiryū nodded, his gaze turning to the other three Kusagakure Ninja. A smile curled on his lips. ”Sorry, my Sensei has spoken, so I have to make you shut up.”

’Sss, sss, sss!’

Under Seiryū’s control, the Golden Chains slithered and charged at an extremely fast speed. And as Seiryū performed hand seals, golden light appeared out of thin air, biting into their bodies and locking down their attempts to dodge.

With a series of soft sounds, the Golden Chains pierced through their hearts.

”Argh!”

A few screams rang out, and their lives were ended by Seiryū.

The strength of Chunin was not enough in front of Seiryū. They were killed in the blink of an eye!

As if he had done something insignificant, Seiryū flashed to Tsunade’s side. He raised an eyebrow and said, ”Things will be difficult from here on out, Lady Edanust. I sense quite a few people rushing over here.”

Tsunade: ”...”

She knew what Seiryū meant by that.

Tsunade was also a bit speechless. Why did something always happen every time she left the village on a mission?

And this time, she was the one who took the initiative to let Seiryū act.

Forget it!

Let it be a complication!

Encountering such a thing was an accident, and she could not sit idly by!

It was just Kusagakure!

Walking over, Tsunade looked at the still-shaken red-haired young woman. Her tone became a bit gentler. ”Don’t be afraid, we are Konoha Ninja. You must be a member of the Uzumaki Clan, right? What is your name?”

”Th-this lord, I am indeed a member of the Uzumaki Clan.”

Perhaps the term Konoha Ninja made her relax a little. Konoha and Uzushiogakure were allies.

She answered stutteringly, ”My name is Uzumaki Hina.”

Konoha Ninja?

Did they come for her?

If only that were the case.

”With us here, you are safe now. We will take you away from here.” Tsunade comforted her. She crouched down and performed the Mystical Palm Technique to treat her.

These bite marks were also shocking to her. Fortunately, the bite marks were only seen on her arms. There were none elsewhere. There should not have been any other unacceptable things happening.

”Leave here?” The warm healing Chakra and Tsunade’s gentle words made Hina pause.

Her rosy lips pursed slightly. A complex expression appeared on her beautiful face. It was like relief, like worry, and also a little timidity.

Could she really leave here, leave this place that made her feel fear and despair, and leave the clutches of those devils?

”Big sister, don’t be afraid. Look, I also have red hair. I am a member of the Uzumaki Clan just like you.”

Seiryū smiled at Hina. ”When a clansman is in trouble, we naturally won’t sit idly by, and saving beautiful young girls is an unshirkable duty for our generation!”

In his senses, the other person’s body was somewhat depleted and weak. However, it had not damaged her core. With the vitality of the Uzumaki Clan, she could recover after resting for a period of time.

From this, it could be judged that the time she had been treated as a human medicine pack should not have been long.

”Uzumaki Clan.”

Hina subconsciously glanced at Seiryū’s red hair.

From Seiryū, she also perceived a familiar aura. Coupled with the Golden Chains from just now, it seemed to be the Sealing Jutsu of the Uzumaki Clan that her father and mother had once taught her, but which she could not learn, the Adamantine Sealing Chains!?

Konoha Ninja, clansmen.

If it were these people, they should not be a threat to her, right?

Thinking of this, the worry and concern in her heart disappeared for the most part at this moment. It also made her eyes turn a little red.

”That’s right, I am a member of the Uzumaki Clan, my name is Seiryū, and she is the Princess of Konoha, Lady Edanust.”

Seiryū briefly explained their identities. ”You might be unfamiliar with the name Edanust, but Lady Edanust’s former name was Tsunade. It’s just written backward now.”

”With Lady Edanust here, the mere Kusagakure is just a piece of cake. If they don’t know what’s good for them, I don’t mind wiping them out here!”

Kusagakure was just a small Ninja Village.

Except for the Box of Ultimate Bliss, which was somewhat interesting, what kind of trash were the rest?

He could sweep through them all by himself.

Tsunade: ”...”

Can you stop continuing this topic?

This kid was deliberately picking a fight, right?

’Swish, swish, swish.’

While Seiryū and the others were chatting, figures rushed over here. They vaguely surrounded the place.

Leading them were several people wearing animal masks. They were the elders of Kusagakure.

The current Kusagakure had no Kage.

Kusagakure once had a civil war, after which it split into two factions. The Kusa-no-Mi faction, which was pro-war, and the Kusa-no-Hana faction, which was anti-war.

The elders were the highest authority.

The elders of the two factions checked and balanced each other, and neither side was convinced by the other. Naturally, they could not select a Kage that everyone would submit to.

”This face, the Legendary Sannin Princess Tsunade?”

One of the elders wearing a bull mask scanned the scene. After his gaze landed on Tsunade, his pupils could not help but shrink slightly, and he could not hide his shock. ”How could you appear here!?”

The Legendary Sannin were famous.

As elders of a village, it was naturally impossible for them not to know.

Why would a big shot like the Legendary Sannin Princess Tsunade appear in their Kusagakure?

”What Princess Tsunade? You scoundrel!”

Just as Tsunade wanted to say something, Seiryū spoke first. He stepped forward, coldly staring at this minotaur. ”You got the name wrong, do you want to die? Remember, it is Princess Edanust!”

Tsunade’s mouth twitched wildly. Suppressing the urge to beat Seiryū up, she gritted her teeth and whispered, ”Shut up!”

Seiryū pouted. ”What’s the matter? This is what you said. If a complication happened, you would write your name backward. Are you going back on your word now?”

Tsunade: ”...”

Deep breath, deep breath.

Don’t argue with someone whose brain isn’t right.

”We are taking Uzumaki Hina away to Konoha. The Uzumaki Clan was once an ally of Konoha, and any clansmen stranded outside will be under the protection of our Konoha!”

Tsunade looked at the minotaur who had just spoken and said in a calm tone, ”Do you have any objections?”

Whether they had objections or not, Hina had to be taken away today!

Listening to Tsunade’s overbearing words, all the Kusagakure Ninja in the field had different expressions.

Some had angry murderous intent in their eyes. Some frowned slightly. Others glanced at Hina, their expressions somewhat relieved and happy for her.

As fellow Kusagakure Ninja, they were vaguely divided into two factions.

And the positions they stood in were clearly distinct.

An elder wearing a horse mask spoke up at this time, his tone cold. ”She is the property of our Kusagakure. Even if you are the Legendary Sannin known throughout the Ninja World, you have no right to take her away! Everything about her belongs to Kusagakure.”

’Crackle!’

The sound of electricity suddenly rang out, and a beam of lightning charged at an extremely fast speed, not only interrupting his words, but also piercing through his heart.

The person who made the move was naturally Seiryū.

Looking at the horse-man whose heart he had pierced, Seiryū sneered. ”Heh, property? What do you take our Uzumaki Clan for? Soft targets you can manipulate at will?”

Property?

What an interesting word!

Since when was a member of the Uzumaki Clan the possession of another Ninja Village?

”Hoh, hoh.”

The elder with the horse mask lowered his head to look at his pierced heart, wanting to say something, but he could only make meaningless sounds.

The strength in his body was fading rapidly.

With a ’thud,’ he fell backward to the ground, his eyes wide open behind the mask.

There was only one thought in his heart.

Why did they dare to kill someone here!?

”Elder?”

”Damn it! They actually made a move?”

”Damn it, we absolutely cannot let them go. They actually murdered an elder!”

This scene stunned all the Kusagakure Ninja.

Afterward, whether it was the Kusa-no-Mi or Kusa-no-Hana, all the Ninja of both factions had their expressions darken at this moment.

They had actually killed someone right in front of them!

This was completely disregarding their Kusagakure!

”Unconvinced?”

Seiryū looked at all the Kusagakure Ninja who looked gloomy and seemed about to make a move. The smile on his lips gradually became sinister. ”I don’t mind killing everyone who is unconvinced. You can try.”
