Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”I won’t let you threaten them, even if I have to risk my life!”

With the Seventh Gate of Shock opened, Duy’s strength had already risen to an extremely formidable level!

At this moment, blue vapor danced around his body.

He clenched his right fist, and the muscles in his right arm swelled, stretching his green jumpsuit tight.

Swinging his arm, he threw a full-power punch straight out!!

Hold back?

Duy, who believed his own strength was lacking and his enemy was strong, did not even consider such a thing.

The moment he moved, he went all out, a full-power burst from the very start!!

As that punch was thrown, it was as if it struck empty space itself.

A thunderous boom shook the air!

That terrifying punch compressed and condensed the air, then spread and exploded. The force of the punch drove the compressed air, now pushed to its limit, into an even more powerful attack that swept forward.

Boom! Boom! Boom!!

This strike was incomparably powerful, and the force it carried was shocking.

It easily crushed the incoming storm, which could not even hold it back for a moment!

The terrifying punch force swept forward, smashing through everything.

It came crashing straight toward Orochimaru’s position, intending to blast him to death on the spot.

This was Duy’s furious strike!!

”An attack of this intensity.”

Seeing the attack coming, Orochimaru’s expression changed instantly.

At that moment, he felt the threat of death descend over him!

An attack of this intensity was enough to kill him!

What exactly was wrong with this guy?

How could he possibly unleash such a powerful attack!?

But he had no time to think. Orochimaru reacted with incredible speed, bit his thumb, formed hand seals, and pressed his hand to the ground.

”Summoning Technique, Triple Rashōmon!”

Dense black markings spread from his palm.

”Bang! Bang! Bang!”

Three explosive sounds rang out, and a large amount of white smoke obscured the view.

Within the smoke.

Three gates engraved with grimacing faces instantly rose from the ground, blocking the incoming attack!

Boom!!

In almost the same instant.

Duy’s furious punch force slammed into the Triple Rashōmon.

A terrifying roar burst out at once.

Along with that roar came a violent wave of pressure that swept outward.

Everything around was destroyed. Tall trees were uprooted one after another, and the surrounding area became a complete mess!

Crack!

The sound of shattering rang out as the first Rashōmon split apart under the terrifying punch force, cracks spreading across it.

One second later, it was destroyed outright!

The punch force did not weaken at all and continued smashing toward the second gate!

Boom! Crack!

Another thunderous blast rang out!

The second Rashōmon also could not withstand such punch force and shattered instantly, large fragments shooting in all directions.

Then came the third Rashōmon.

As the cracking sound of collapse rang out, Orochimaru’s expression changed again behind it.

His heart was shaken!

Even the Triple Rashōmon could not fully stop it?

Fortunately, although the third Rashōmon also cracked heavily and was covered in fractures, it still stubbornly managed to block this attack.

But before Orochimaru could let out a sigh of relief, he heard a sharp whistling sound rapidly approaching.

His eyes instinctively turned toward the source of the sound, only to see a blue figure stepping on the air as it charged toward him.

That made Orochimaru’s face sink. ”What incredible speed!”

Even with his eyesight, he could barely catch the other’s movements!

And this was supposed to be a Genin!?

”Even if you’re strong, I’ll still give it everything I have. Die!!”

Duy’s furious voice rang out as his figure shot forward like an arrow.

His white-eyed gaze locked onto Orochimaru.

The blue vapor dancing around his body seemed like a manifestation of the anger in his heart!

He dove headfirst toward Orochimaru, his heavily muscled right arm containing terrifying force.

One punch from it was enough to split mountains and shatter stone!

Boom!

A thunderous crash echoed out.

The ground instantly caved in beneath Duy’s punch, shaking the entire area.

The earth cracked open, giant rocks jutted up, and the surrounding trees toppled in all directions!

”He actually dodged? That kind of strength is definitely Jōnin level!”

When his attack was evaded, Duy was shocked as well.

To dodge his attack in such an instant, this guy’s strength really was terrifying!

He was definitely a Jōnin!

”It’s not over yet!”

Duy’s dynamic vision was extremely strong. Locking onto the enemy’s position, his offensive erupted once more!

”Konoha Flame Whirlwind Punch!”

Duy let out a low shout.

His fists swung again and again, and as they rubbed against the air, clusters of flames actually burst forth.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Flames and punch force blasted toward Orochimaru’s location with Duy’s continuous punches.

From a distance, it looked like blooming fireworks, beautiful, yet carrying overwhelming destructive power!

Orochimaru gritted his teeth, his expression flickering uncertainly.

This Genin was terrifyingly strong!

And yet he had been completely unknown before!

That made him feel rather puzzled!

Steadying himself, Orochimaru formed hand seals and pressed a hand to the ground. ”Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!”

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Dense booming sounds rang out as flames exploded and broken stone shot everywhere.

The tall earthen wall became riddled with craters, and cracks spread across it.

Then, in the next instant, it was destroyed, large chunks of stone flying in all directions as dust filled the air.

”Where did he go?”

Duy punched the air, sending out a shockwave that blew the dust away as he swept his gaze around.

The enemy was already nowhere to be seen.

Then his ears twitched, and with a kick off the ground, his body vanished from the spot instantly.

At the very moment Duy left his position, sharp earth spikes burst out from underground where he had just been standing.

”So I underestimated you.”

A slightly grave voice rang out, and from one patch of ground, an arm broke through the soil as Orochimaru pulled himself out of the earth.

His gaze fixed on Duy, who stood not far away with a grave expression, and he slowly let out a breath, sighing, ”I never expected taijutsu alone could display such power.”

What this Genin called Might Duy was using was nothing but taijutsu.

Even Orochimaru had not expected taijutsu by itself to possess such might!

Konoha actually had a person like this!

”We’re in the middle of a fight here, and you’re standing there sighing about it?”

On this side, Seiryū let out a cold laugh.

He quietly launched a sneak attack.

With one hand forming a seal, he pointed toward Orochimaru’s position. ”Bakudō #61. Rikujōkōrō!”

Six golden beams of light appeared out of nowhere and instantly clamped onto Orochimaru’s waist, restricting all his movement!!

”Hm?”

As his body was caught by the six beams of light, Orochimaru was stunned for a moment. Even the flow of chakra in his body slowed down, and his movements were restricted!

This was a sealing technique!

And it had appeared out of thin air, with absolutely no warning at all!

Was this one of the new techniques this brat had developed?

Remarkable indeed!

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

After that, Orochimaru heard a piercing humming sound.

His gaze instinctively shifted over, and his pupils immediately shrank. ”What kind of ninjutsu is that now!?”

That technique also gave him an intense sense of danger!!

”Rasenshuriken, it’s an S-rank ninjutsu.”

Seiryū held Rasenshuriken in his hand, spinning at high speed and letting out a piercing hum.

He showed Orochimaru a meaningful smile. ”To put it simply, it’s a Rasengan infused with nature transformation!”

”Then eat one of my flying balls!!”
