Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Demons are quite mysterious creatures.

This is evident from the number of points required to exchange for answers from the Giant Dragon Knowledge Base.

The points required were too many, so Yang Yu had to find another way, breaking down the demon-related questions into numerous smaller ones.

Unfortunately, the existence of demons itself seems to be a colossal secret to this world.

Even after breaking the questions about demons into numerous smaller ones, Yang Yu couldn’t get any meaningful answers.

Looking at the information displayed on the panel and the new tasks that popped up, Yang Yu felt slightly surprised.

Can the power possessed by demons also transform people into other races like Racial Essence?

Yang Yu quickly dismissed this idea.

The demon born from devouring Kexiya is not called Kexiya, but Lola Belfigol.

Yang Yu, having played a fair number of demon-themed games, vaguely remembers the names Belphégor and Beelzebub.

Watching Lola Belfigol, who was checking her own condition all over, Yang Yu didn’t believe she was actually Belphégor or Kexiya, but rather a demon similar to the Favored Clan of Belphégor.

Because she gained her power from Belphégor, she was called Lola Belfigol.

There are actually such methods to increase allies…

Yang Yu increasingly found demons troublesome; if demons were to descend into the human world, the world might actually be ruled by them.

The fog that had once enveloped Kexiya dispersed, confirming that Lola Belfigol’s attributes were not much higher than Beelzebub’s. While others were at a loss, Yang Yu launched an attack on the newly born Lola Belfigol.

In an instant, Yang Yu slashed through countless writhing vines under Lola Belfigol’s feet, closing in on her.

Lola Belfigol repeatedly opened and closed her palms, seemingly confirming something, completely unaware that Yang Yu was cutting through the vines to launch an attack.

Yang Yu thrust a sword into Lola Belfigol’s thigh.

A sharp howl echoed, and Lola Belfigol fixed her gaze, glaring menacingly at Yang Yu from not far away, and swung her palm towards him.

Yang Yu sidestepped and dodged, evading Lola Belfigol’s attack, and once again thrust at Lola Belfigol’s thigh.

Lola Belfigol had over four hundred and sixty thousand in Blood Volume and extremely high defenses.

Even if Yang Yu went all out, his full-force attack only dealt a little over a thousand damage.

Roughly estimated, Yang Yu would need more than four hundred strikes to completely kill this demon.

Assuming, of course, that Lola Belfigol didn’t have any health regeneration skills.

Speaking of regeneration skills, Yang Yu recalled the fear he once felt when dominated by He Meng.

A demon with some plant attributes should have some regeneration skills, no matter how you think about it.

As soon as this thought formed in Yang Yu’s mind, the vines that Yang Yu had just cut off were rapidly regenerating at a speed visible to the naked eye. Some lashed towards Yang Yu, while others plunged deep underground.

In an instant, the Blood Volume that Yang Yu had taken from Lola Belfigol began to recover slowly.

”Rooting...?”

Using the Dark Breaking Blade, Yang Yu skillfully dodged and slashed under the vines.

To swiftly deal with such a plant-like demon nourished by rooting, one must cut off its roots.

If it were the old Yang Yu, he might have had no means to deal with such a demon, but the current Yang Yu wasn’t fighting alone.

After Yang Yu launched his assault, other members of the expeditionary team quickly moved into action.

Lola Belfigol rooted herself into the ground, blocking their path to the Reserve Church, leaving them no choice but to fight.

Perhaps it was an illusion, but the members of the expeditionary team felt that after Lola Belfigol’s roots penetrated the ground, her figure started to grow slowly, and her aura became stronger and stronger.

If they couldn’t deal with her while she was still weak, she would definitely become more and more difficult to handle.

Aimed at Lola Belfigol, a Light Arrow once again shot out from Iyas’s hand.

Waving her arm, Lola Belfigol released a black crescent scythe slash, intending to block Iyas’s Light Arrow.

Unexpectedly, Iyas’s Light Arrow turned in midair, dodging the black crescent scythe and also evading Lola Belfigol’s subsequent swing, transforming into countless tiny Light Needles before Lola Belfigol, piercing her skin.

A sharp scream echoed throughout the entire underground city, and for the first time, Lola Belfigol spoke:

”How dare you... how dare you treat me this way. Goddess believers, you should all be destroyed!”

Countless massive vines erupted from the ground, tearing through the earth, smashing houses, and crashing towards Iyas.

”Blizzard!”

The chanting magic completed, Bai Jin aimed the magic initially meant for Lola Belfigol at the rapidly extending vines, freezing countless chaotic vines into ice blocks in the blink of an eye, ensuring the expeditionary team’s safety.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Yang Yu used the skill Fury Blood, donning a layer of red armor, and employed Climbing to ascend Lola Belfigol’s raised vines.

Lola Belfigol shook the vines, trying to throw Yang Yu off, but to her surprise, Yang Yu moved as if on flat ground atop her vines. In a flash, he was close to her abdomen, dealing a considerable amount of True Damage with Fury Blood.

Suddenly, a pink Light Shield appeared on Lola Belfigol’s body, rapidly expanding outward while countless pleasant aromas rushed towards Yang Yu.

Realizing the pink Light Shield and aroma were tricks, Yang Yu retreated while pulling out a towel from the System to cover his mouth and nose.

Unfortunately, he was still a step too late.

Just by inhaling a breath of the pink aroma, Yang Yu felt light-headed, finding Lola Belfigol increasingly pleasing to the eye, as if an uncontainable interest arose, wanting to raise his hands and shout, ”Demon girl is amazing, those who don’t like demon girls, go to hell for me!”

Small hearts floated upward from Yang Yu’s Status Bar, and he knew he had been Charmed.

Yang Yu’s first reaction was, how could this be, I’m obviously so handsome... No, I invested so many points in charm, how could I still be charmed?

Could this demoness, with nothing but vines and a fusion of oddities beneath her feet, truly be more charming than me?

Yang Yu looked towards Lola Belfigol, her lithe and graceful figure, so alluring even in the shadows under any light, unconsciously taking two steps towards her.

At that moment, a vine struck, fiercely lashing towards Yang Yu.

With a thunderous crash, Yang Yu was brutally smashed into a wall.
