Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

The hand pulling the bowstring paused slightly, and Iyas gazed into the depths of the dark city, sensing the arrival of uninvited guests.

Iyas could clearly perceive the darkness emanating from the few people on the rooftop, which was markedly different from the secondary demons they were fighting.

The darkness exuded by those people was more pure than every secondary demon present.

No doubt, those people possess the real Demon Power.

Their aura was exactly the same as that of the Curse Sect’s bishop, Tu Jing.

There were many secondary demons, but they mostly fought out of instinct.

Those who wield a portion of Demon Power have formidable combat strength and are undoubtedly exceptional at various deceptions.

They are undeniably more troublesome than secondary demons.

”Impressive, to hold out under the hands of so many secondary demons for so long. You do have some skill. But you’re already at a dead end. I’ll consider you as the best sacrifice for the Demon Lord!”

”You really made a mess here, I’ve kept track of how many disciples have died!

I will give you the ultimate punishment, heh heh, what kind of penalty should I give you?

I’ll whip you tenfold the death count.

I want to skin you alive, and even when you die, I’ll bind your souls for perpetual torment.”

”Such a nuisance. Why are you still serving the goddess at this point? Are you idiots?”

Several voices alternated, coming from the depths of the darkness.

Seeing Iyas frown, Yang Yu threw something in the direction of the voice.

The object was round and rolled along the flat street towards the Curse Sect’s bishop.

The advancing bishop noticed Yang Yu’s small gesture but failed to detect any Magic Fluctuation from the object Yang Yu tossed.

”Throwing stones to probe? Do you think such a method will work?” A pair of black hands picked up the object Yang Yu had thrown, holding it in the palm, ”I’ll give this back to you!”

Before the black hand could throw back the object Yang Yu tossed, a strong light emitted from it.

The black hand tried to hurl the object away, but it was too late.

The flash grenade exploded, a pure white light engulfing the Curse Sect’s bishop who had come to support.

Unable to open their eyes due to the blinding white light, the supportive bishop was greatly astonished.

What is this? Clearly, there was no Magic Fluctuation detected, so why did this happen? Is it something like explosives?

But, can explosives achieve this light-only phenomenon without an explosion?

Just as the supportive bishop was baffled, they heard a series of footsteps, and in an instant, a blurry shadow attacked them.

These Curse Sect bishops, bestowed Demon Power by demons, carry a trace of pride in their bones.

Faced with the black shadow’s assault, their first instinct was to confront rather than devote themselves to Defense.

Using Demon Power, these bishops underwent transformation.

One bishop was half-devoured by blackness, twisted and deformed; another sprouted black arms from his back; yet another grew twisted horns and wings, his head morphing into a reptilian shape.

However, these newly emerged bishops were no match for Yang Yu.

The last time Yang Yu faced opponents of this caliber was two or three years ago; now, he doesn’t even fear the disciples of the Curse Sect.

Before the three could transform, Yang Yu, having donned sunglasses against the flash grenade’s intense light, had already reached them.

Using wall climbing, Yang Yu targeted the winged bishop as his first target.

A crimson pierced into the palm, staining the Sword Blade orange, Yang Yu leaped up, breaking through the attack the bishop was preparing, and pierced the bishop’s chest with his sword.

Yang Yu’s Blood Volume had long surpassed 130,000, nearing 140,000. Without the aid of Power of Giant Dragon, Dark Breaking Blade, and other damage boosts from his team, he could still deal over 20,000 instant damage.

This world’s human bloodlines are extremely diverse, resulting in significant variance in attributes among different humans.

Those with strong bloodlines, or those who awaken their bloodlines, are rare. A level above 100 with average attributes over 1,500 signifies top-level combat power for humans.

But this so-called top-tier is clearly not formidable in Yang Yu’s eyes.

Yang Yu effortlessly reduced a bishop’s Life Value to zero, and that bishop fell into darkness without achieving anything.

Without pause, Yang Yu’s eyes flashed red as he aimed his Sword Blade at another bishop nearby.

The bishop with numerous arms realized the situation was amiss, immediately retracting his attacking black arm to fortify Defense.

Yang Yu merely swung the Dark Breaking Blade gently, slicing through a black arm, then swiftly pierced through the bishop’s Defense to strike into his chest.

The injured bishop spat out blood.

But that wasn’t all; countless thorns grew from around the bishop, ensnaring the somewhat frail bishop.

No matter how the bishop struggled, he couldn’t escape Yang Yu’s thorns.

Seizing the chance, Yang Yu executed precise strikes, targeting vital points, inflicting maximum damage, and causing a devastating bleeding effect.

The bishop with black arms sought to awaken the Demon Seeds gifted by Loving Kexiya, offering his flesh and soul, but discovered by Yang Yu, who struck the not-yet-budding Demon Seeds with his sword.

The Demon Seeds not successfully hatching into secondary demons or black wriggling masses were quite fragile, so much so that even a slightly intense Holy Light could easily eliminate them.

Yang Yu’s sword pierced the heart of the Demon Seeds, it couldn’t possibly withstand it.

The not-yet-budding Demon Seeds wailed and completely vanished under Yang Yu’s sword.

”In such a short time, two bishops have fallen...”

The last Curse Sect bishop was in utter disbelief; originally, he thought the three of them, chosen by the Demon Lord, could at least delay Yang Yu, if not eliminate him completely.

But who would have thought that as soon as they appeared, Yang Yu caught them off guard and with lightning speed exterminated two Curse Sect bishops.

And now, Yang Yu finally aimed his sword at the last bishop.

The bishop consumed half by blackness tried to resist, but Yang Yu was simply too fast.

Darkness fully engulfed the half-black bishop, yet before it enveloped him completely, Yang Yu scattered some Fluorescent Powder on him, making him the most conspicuous target in the darkness.

Using the glove grasping the Fluorescent Powder as bait, fishing him out, Yang Yu easily found the last bishop’s flaw.

Grabbing the Dark Breaking Blade, Yang Yu stepped forward and struck directly.
