Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

The pitch-black clouds seemed like the curtain drawn by the Death God, and people beneath it dared not move rashly, fearing the silent approach of the Grim Reaper.

They didn’t know if what Yang Yu said earlier was true or false, but they were willing to believe that all Yang Yu said was true.

What the Memory Crystal just showed explained everything.

In the center of the battlefield was a ”Demon”, a ”Madman” who could take so many lives with an unchanging expression.

The garrison in Benliang City didn’t believe Yang Yu’s seemingly incredible words back then, which was why they perished in the sea of fire.

Now, the soldiers under the dark clouds do not wish to repeat that mistake, letting such a thing happen to themselves.

The generals of the Luo Ze Empire were sweating profusely, soaking the lining beneath their armor; they no longer wished to lose their well-trained units.

The generals of Luo Ze glanced at each other, eventually selecting a general to step forward and speak on their behalf:

”Please calm down, Vice General Yang Yu...

You didn’t use magic directly to annihilate us, and you surely don’t want things to develop in that direction...

Didn’t you just say?

You came here to stop this war.

You definitely don’t want to see rivers of blood...

Whatever demands you have, feel free to raise them.”

Yang Yu, expressionless, said:

”I warn you once more.

Whether beastman soldiers or human soldiers, get your stance clear; don’t let me see any tricks.

Also, don’t try anything that would provoke me.

My trump card is beyond your imagination.

After all, I am a person favored by the ruins, escaping from here is easy.”

The generals of Luo Ze furrowed their brows and made a promise to Yang Yu:

”I assure you, there will be no tricks.”

Marco also spoke on behalf of the Wansheng Republic’s troops: ”We also assure you, there will be no tricks.”

Yang Yu suddenly changed from his serious demeanor to a smiling face and joked:

”If both of you allies could unite right now and altogether target me, perhaps there might still be a chance of winning.

But the prophecy already fulfilled has trapped you deeply; how could you unite under such circumstances?”

Upon hearing Yang Yu’s words, whether beastmen or humans, they all involuntarily recalled that ancient text, and couldn’t help but murmur ”a prophecy already fulfilled...”

Yang Yu did not continue with this topic.

That was not part of his tasks.

Without authoritative certification, wasting words here had limited influence, incapable of affecting common people who had read that report.

What Yang Yu needed to do, was to accomplish his own mission:

”Since you’re all prepared, let me tell you my demands! Listen carefully, everyone!”

The scene fell silent, everyone waiting for Yang Yu to speak.

Taking a deep breath, Yang Yu faced Marco and said:

”Marco, this war has long since ended.

You beastmen shouldn’t have stepped into this country, retreat with your troops to the borderline, back to your own country.

Such a long war, many warriors must miss home; comfort them well.

Wansheng Country... regarding the Wansheng Republic over there, I have some understanding.

Perhaps some might obstruct your retreat...

I will settle them for you; after retreating to the borderline, if you’re uneasy, guard there for a while.

But absolutely do not step into this country again, nor harm civilians.”

Marco nodded heavily.

Then, Yang Yu turned to the human troops next,

”Luo Ze Empire, try waiting a while longer.

You will reclaim all your lost territories, as long as you promise not to cross the border to attack beastmen again.

If the beastmen do not return the land, at that point, I will stand up to help you.

However, if you dare to cross Wansheng Country’s border, then your enemy will be me.

Of course, people here do not enjoy decision-making power.

Convey my words unchanged to the higher echelons.

If both countries can fulfill my requests, I will not intervene again. But if you dare challenge my bottom line,

then who knows what dangers await you.

If your respective countries have raised some highly skilled loyal dogs,

feel free to bring them forth, as long as I’m alive, I will note this hatred in my little book and gradually repay it.”

Raising his head to look around, hatred hadn’t disappeared among the soldiers of both countries; Yang Yu even saw decisive expressions of ”temporarily retreat, plan for the future” in some people’s eyes.

Some people didn’t wish to simply give up the war, especially because the war ended due to Yang Yu’s external force.

Yang Yu did not know how many people would genuinely give up the hatred afterward.

But if he could make the majority realize their actions ultimately were just meaningless mutual harm, perhaps it could change something.

Of course, this isn’t something that can change overnight.

Yang Yu wants to see that day come.

Pushed by the pressure Yang Yu exerted, after a simple discussion, the troops of the Luo Ze Empire and the Wansheng Republic agreed to Yang Yu’s demands.

”We will convey it to Prime Minister Ming Dalak.”

”We will also convey it to Emperor Luo Hui.”

Receiving verbal promises from both armies, Yang Yu feigned satisfaction with a grin:

”Don’t forget what I said.

Now take your troops and withdraw beyond the black cloud area, as I instructed.

As for me....

I have more important things to do; I must complete that task to truly put an end to this war.”

Yang Yu took out a watch, pretending to check the time, and said,

”You have two hours to evacuate now.

Everyone, until we meet again.

Next time when we meet, I hope you can let go of past grievances.”

Upon finishing, Bai Jin in the sky slowly landed atop Lotcar, but the black clouds in the sky did not dissipate.

Climbing onto Lotcar’s back, Yang Yu directed Lotcar to leave openly under everyone’s eyes, without any obstruction.

All the soldiers present, hearing Yang Yu’s two-hour deadline, lost most of their fighting spirit; all they wished was to leave quickly.

Neither side’s generals dawdled; they immediately organized manpower for a quick retreat.

The escape of the Luo Ze Empire was so swift, they did not even notice the water level of the Beidong River dropped noticeably.

What enormous attack could envelop everyone, it was all Yang Yu’s fabrication.

The black clouds above were just a Super Large Weather Magic released by using the river water of Beidong River.

All of this was Yang Yu’s posturing through bluffing.

Initially, Yang Yu planned for Bai Jin to really use the Super Large Magic for intimidation, but Bai Jin was not proficient in the Super Large Magic mastered, and using Super Large Magic would consume a lot of time and be easily interrupted.

Yang Yu wasn’t sure whether Bai Jin, who just completely mastered ”Dancing in the Air”, could continue maintaining flight in magic-deprived air after using the Super Large Magic.

Hence, Yang Yu employed this high-safety bluffing method.
