Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Each ancient martial art has its own characteristics; once mastered, it is highly recognizable.

The man in front loves making friends through martial arts, with such a flamboyant personality, it’s impossible for him to be a nobody.

He is House Polpo, the captain of the genuine S-Class adventure group, ”Immortal Vajra.”

Before Yang Yu acquired the ”Adventurer’s Peak,” he had already heard from the ”Red Blood Rose” that ”Immortal Vajra” was a group of quite troublesome people, each extremely powerful, and their favorite thing to do was to constantly challenge the strong.

”Immortal Vajra,” unless they were raiding the Underground Maze, acted independently; they were either in a match against the strong or on their way to one.

If they lost, they wouldn’t get discouraged but would rightfully find a harsh environment to train themselves.

This generation of ”Immortal Vajra” has inherited the ”fine tradition” of their predecessors, especially this generation’s captain, House Polpo, who, due to his inexhaustible craving for battle, has already been blacklisted by several S-Class adventure groups.

That’s understandable.

If I were the captain of those S-Class adventure groups, facing someone who attacks directly without a word, I’d probably blacklist him forever too, to prevent him from terrorizing my teammates.

Bai Jin and Iyas each prepared for an attack, ready to support at any time, but they heard Yang Yu shout to them:

”Don’t intervene in this battle, stay on guard for any approaching Mud Monsters!”

Upon hearing this, Bai Jin and Iyas retracted their hands.

The red headband fluttered in the wind, House Polpo’s face full of smiles:

”You really do have quite some backbone.

This move, if I’m not mistaken, should be ’Shadow Deception’ of the ’Shadow Stream.’

I really reminisce about the times when I faced that old man and saw many interesting skills. He once said something about wanting me to inherit the entire Shadow Stream, but alas, I already have my own style.

Let me see to what extent you can do it.”

Blocking Yang Yu’s sword with one hand, House Polpo swung his other fist, gathering a significant amount of his energy, roaring like a giant dragon.

Yang Yu raised his massive shield, took the punch, and was blown away several meters.

House Polpo didn’t give Yang Yu any breathing room, activating his skill, he trod lightly, walking on pebbles as if on flat ground, and in the blink of an eye, appeared at Yang Yu’s left side.

In order to avoid exposing his identity, Yang Yu had several skills that needed to be sealed, and couldn’t be use freely.

Skills like ”Thorny Bindings” and ”Blood Burst Earth” had to be used in places without people if they were needed at all.

Originally, there were several opportunities for Yang Yu to leverage those skills for a counterattack, but to minimize exposure, Yang Yu could only endure.

But this didn’t mean Yang Yu chose to be passively beaten.

The opponent had nearly 4000 Strength, and Speed also approached 2000. Only by making him momentarily abandon the thought of battling, could he slowly hunt Mud Monsters.

But against such a fierce opponent, what method should be used to extinguish his fighting spirit?

Coming here, Yang Yu had considered this problem.

Honestly, it was pretty hard to achieve.

Knowing that House Polpo controlled this Hot Spring and the Mud Monsters, it can be speculated that his aim was to see if there were any promising novices here who could spar with him.

After all, those with the Courage to face Mud Monsters generally had exceptional skills.

Additionally, he might have really become so detested that others avoided battles with him as if seeing a ghost. Finding no one to spar with, he came here.

Yang Yu didn’t particularly favor those martial artists who attacked directly without so much as a greeting.

Once is tolerable, but a second time would be quite a hassle.

The opponent might cling on, hope to spar several rounds expecting familiarity.

There was no way to form a good relationship with him.

Yang Yu was uncertain if, in the future, House Polpo would suddenly appear at an inappropriate time, clamoring for a duel and ruining his plans.

Thinking of such a future, Yang Yu guaranteed not to exert his full strength in a head-on confrontation.

Holding his shield and sword, Yang Yu thwarted House Polpo’s assault while contemplating a method to resolve the battle.

However, seeing that Yang Yu could hold his own against him, House Polpo felt an endless surge of motivation, wishing to unleash all his learned skills onto Yang Yu at once.

”Hahaha, you’re even more capable than I imagined. Can you handle this move?”

House Polpo took a deep breath; though there was no apparent change on the surface, Yang Yu could feel something emerging from within House Polpo, materializing the energy around him.

At first glance, one couldn’t discern what skill House Polpo was using, but over time, you could perceive some hints from the details.

Soon, Yang Yu became convinced that the skill House Polpo was using was one of the Secret Techniques mastered by the ”Silent Stream Disturbance” faction—”Silent.”

It is said that this move not only causes damage but can completely disrupt the surrounding area, making everyone’s energy unusable within the range, rendering them incapable of using skills.

Knowing that this skill was being used, it became much easier.

The ”energy” surrounding House Polpo became more substantial, now visibly light purple.

House Polpo raised a fist, the purple energy now like sharp blades, slicing in all directions.

Yang Yu’s approach was simple; first, he performed a ”Protective Assistance Charge” to return to Lotcar’s side, his hand glowing with a red light, imbuing the Sword Blade with orange energy. Then, a ”Sudden Killing Intent” accelerated his speed, and in a blink, he arrived before House Polpo.

House Polpo retracted his fist, using the surrounding chaotic energy to open a protective shield, charging at Yang Yu.

Yang Yu abruptly stopped mid-charge, leveraging slightly superior Speed, rapidly retreated while angling the shield into the pebbles, using his body as a fulcrum, leading House Polpo onto his shield.

Then, Yang Yu drove his sword into the pebbles, raising his body to tip House Polpo into the Hot Spring River.

”Bai Jin, this is the time; use Ice Magic to try and construct a tunnel along the Hot Spring River. Iyas, illuminate the ice wall with your brightest Holy Light!”

Following Yang Yu’s sudden command, Bai Jin and Iyas immediately sprang into action, forming a long ice tunnel over the hot spring, Iyas’ Holy Light shining within, magnified and intensely bright.

House Polpo, who had just fallen into the river, emerged from the hot spring water, wiped his face, and barely opened his eyes, only to be met with blinding light he couldn’t look into directly.

This intense light left his senses somewhat bewildered.

Before House Polpo understood what was happening, someone had jumped into the Hot Spring River and greeted him with a punch, leaving him sprawled in the river, floating downstream.
