Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Chapter 343: Chapter 343: I have a premonition we’ll be meeting again soon

Seeing that Yang Yu easily dodged all his attacks, Luo Shuang slammed his claws into the ground, unleashing more intense cold air, which frosted over the ice ball hovering in mid-air with a layer of ice mist.

Luo Yi gave the command, and the remaining ice balls dove toward Yang Yu like comets trailing long tails.

To Yang Yu, however, this sky full of ice balls was but a fleeting meteor shower. He stepped lightly, leaping into uncanny dance steps, dodging the ice balls flying straight at him and steadily approaching Luo.

Watching every move Yang Yu made, Luo continued to manipulate the ice balls to attack Yang Yu.

But this time, the attack didn’t aim directly at Yang Yu.

Several ice balls fiercely smashed into the path ahead of Yang Yu, cratering the ground, and the white cold air crawled across the surface, coating the land in front of Yang Yu with a layer of translucent thin ice.

Should Yang Yu step on this path, his movements would inevitably change, giving other ice balls a chance to hit him.

Luo’s cunning was clearly seen by Yang Yu, who remained calm and fixed on his path forward, indifferent to the spreading cold beneath his feet, not slowing his pace for even a moment.

As the ice balls flew closer, Yang Yu used the frost underfoot to slide low, dodging dozens of incoming ice balls in an instant, letting them Bam onto the ground and shatter into ice crystals that blankly dispersed chill into the air.

Standing up nonchalantly, Yang Yu dusted off the ice crystals clinging to him and continued to walk toward Luo leisurely, confident, with an air of complacency, looking no different from an ordinary stroll.

Less than a meter from Luo, Yang Yu looked up, a weak light shed darkness on his forehead but couldn’t conceal the sparkle in his eyes,

”Your attacks, all seen through by me. I’ve won this time, right?”

This gaze seemed to pierce right into the deepest, vulnerable part of Luo’s heart, causing her to involuntarily step backward.

From start to finish, this Human before her seemed oblivious to fear or panic, as if he knew the outcome all along, merely diligently completing a formality.

No one had ever dodged Cold Air Ice Shattering like Yang Yu, nor retained such composure when facing her attacks.

Who exactly was he?

Off to the side, Sena gripped her umbrella handle tightly without realizing when she had begun to do so. The sweat that seeped from her palm even made the handle slightly sticky.

Sena hadn’t expected this test to end so abruptly. She thought she would see Yang Yu writhing in pain on the ground, had even preemptively prepared medicine to offer him once he lost.

Now, it seemed utterly unnecessary.

The Monster Tamer profession required both Demon and Monster Tamer to cooperate fully to unleash their full strength.

One battling alone greatly reduced their power.

But Luo was after all, a Demon, and even without the Monster Tamer’s enhancement, her own strength was not to be underestimated.

Yang Yu’s ability to respond so composedly thoroughly proved his capability.

He hadn’t lied.

Sena stole a glance at Bai Jin and Iyas nearby.

Both Bai Jin and Iyas were unfazed by Yang Yu’s performance, reaffirming Sena’s thoughts.

Slowly closing her umbrella, Sena stretched out her arm, her palm emitting a gentle pale blue glow, weaving a Magic Array that slowly cast a blue light enveloping Luo.

Luo visibly shrank at a noticeable speed, soon indistinguishable from a regular black cat.

She walked back to Sena’s side, head hung low. She, who had intended to teach Yang Yu a lesson, ended up being schooled by him in such a manner.

Only through firsthand experience can one truly understand a person’s capabilities, and it is quite foolish to judge someone’s strength based solely on intuition.

”I’m sorry, Master, I lost. That kid has some skill, and I regret that I couldn’t be of help to you.”

”You’ve already done your best. Moreover, this battle was just a test, not a real fight to the death. It’s reasonable to hold back a little. If you could fight without any reservations, you definitely would have been the victor.”

Would I have been the victor in the end?

Luo couldn’t help but doubt.

As Yang Yu approached her nonchalantly, Luo glimpsed a barely perceptible murderous intent in his eyes.

That murderous intent seemed to tell her that if Yang Yu could get close once, he could certainly do it a second time, a third time... until he had completely knocked her to the ground.

An instinct from deep within told Luo not to provoke Yang Yu. If Yang Yu wanted to defeat her, even if it took a lot of time and energy, this man could definitely do it.

Sena’s encouragement had no effect. Luo continued to hang her head, silent and seemingly very dejected.

Sena was also surprised to see Luo showing such an expression.

Demons’ senses were sharper than humans’, and Luo must have detected something she hadn’t.

That meant, if Luo and Yang Yu were to fight to the death, she might not be able to defeat this man.

As Star Eye glanced at Yang Yu again, what Sena could see remained Yang Yu’s magic power pathways, which were far inferior to theirs.

With such refined dodging skills, what had he gone through?

In the future, could he also lead his team to become a new S-class adventure group in this world?

It had been a long time since a new S-class adventure group had emerged. If one did appear, what changes would the world undergo?

Sena stared at Yang Yu with interest and picked up the dejected Luo.

At that moment, a huge figure suddenly appeared behind her without warning.

Chel Belli had followed the trail left by Sena.

Seeing Chel Belli’s face, Sena knew the outcome and said softly,

”Is that so? He refused to meet... but it doesn’t matter. We were only being polite in greeting him and attempting to make his acquaintance. Since he does not appreciate it, we needn’t insist.”

After speaking, Sena turned toward Yang Yu,

”That was a splendid contest. We will now take our leave and not disturb your rest anymore. However...”

A meaningful smile appeared on Sena’s face,

”I have a feeling we’ll meet again soon. My intuition is usually quite accurate. So... till we meet again.”

Bowing slightly to bid farewell to Yang Yu, Sena, sticking to the arrangement, and Chel Belli, who had just rejoined her, disappeared into the darkness.

Seeing Sena and Chel Belli leave, Iyas, who had been eagerly waiting, immediately seized Yang Yu, bombarding him with questions to find out how much Yang Yu really knew.

After moving his neck around, Yang Yu headed toward the inn. Facing the aggressively inquisitive Iyas, now that there were no outsiders around, he simply fiddled with his ear as he shared only part of the clues about his brother, as he had already planned, and promised that they would leave the city early the next morning to look for her brother.

After that, Yang Yu spoke no more to Iyas.
