Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Chapter 340: Chapter 340 I think, you have some misunderstanding

Such a strong Magic Fluctuation coming from a Slime, Sena hadn’t anticipated.

She had thought that Yang Yu used the same method as her to shrink the Demon into a size small enough to fit into a hat; it appeared that Yang Yu’s Demon was naturally that size.

Flung by Yang Yu and caught by Sena, He Meng slowly regained consciousness.

But the first person to appear in her sensory range was not Yang Yu or Bai Jin, but an unfamiliar woman.

Who is she? Where am I? Why am I being held by her?

Could it be that he’s up to something again, planning to sell me to her?

If it were him, it was indeed very possible.

Anger surged in He Meng’s heart. She expanded her sensory range, eventually spotting Yang Yu not far away. His grinning face seemed to have reached an unspeakable deal with the woman before him.

Changing her body, He Meng crawled from Sena’s embrace onto her arm, leaped, and smashed swiftly towards Yang Yu.

Yang Yu did not dodge; he simply caught He Meng solidly and stuffed her back into Bai Jin’s hood, looking pleased with himself.

”See that? It prefers being with me over your embrace; really sorry about that!”

Poking her head out from the hood, He Meng glared at Yang Yu with fury, ”Ghost Talent likes you? If not for what happened back then, I wouldn’t be in this situation now.”

Yang Yu massaged the mushy He Meng, ”Don’t be so eager for action. Do you really want to challenge her? I don’t mind, really. I would like to see how much you’ve grown during this time.”

If He Meng had teeth, she would have bitten Yang Yu by now.

But then He Meng noticed a pair of lizard eyes staring intently at her and dismissed the thought.

You’ve stirred up trouble with someone sacred again...

It’s all good as long as your life isn’t in danger, just don’t interrupt my rest.

If you want to duel, then go ahead yourself!

He Meng yawned hugely, adopting the principle of ’less is more’, and shrank back into Bai Jin’s hood, falling into a deep sleep.

Luo Yi was dumbfounded.

This person and Demon relationship was terribly poor; unless it was a Monster Tamer who had forced a contract with the Demon, normally, a Monster Tamer and a Demon wouldn’t have such a bad relationship.

What rendered Luo speechless was, Yang Yu hadn’t noticed the poor relationship with He Meng, still proudly showing an attitude of ”embarrassingly true, it was so eager to jump from someone else’s hands into mine, completely subdued by my charm.”

Declining comment, Luo focused on her unchanged mission.

Just as Luo was about to invite Yang Yu to demonstrate his power, Yang Yu spoke first,

”Although I can’t agree to let them battle you if I lose, if you want to test my strength, then come and give it a try.”

Yang Yu’s sudden change of mind surprised Luo. ”Why the sudden change of heart?”

”I just feel that if we continue like this, it will be endless.

Miss Sena, you’ve seen my Demon, and it’s getting late. If we continue tussling here, it will affect our rest and tomorrow’s itinerary.

”We still have important matters to attend to, and we didn’t plan on lingering here for too long.

Right, Iyas?”

Called by name, with a face that said ”why aren’t you hurrying this up,” Iyas grumpily responded,

”I don’t know why you followed us, but if you dare delay our schedule, I absolutely won’t forgive you.”

Folding up her parasol, Sena sighed deeply, revealing her inner thoughts,

”I’m truly sorry for disturbing you, but I meant well.

Monster Tamer is a quite rare profession in this world; whenever I encounter a fellow professional, I can’t help but want to lend a hand.

I really didn’t expect your monster to be Slime.

Historically, Monster Tamers who chose Slime as their monster are unique; even I can’t provide you with the correct breeding method now.

Moreover, I can sense that your Slime is no ordinary one. Whether the methods that apply to regular Slimes would work on her is unknown.

Since I can’t help you, I have no reason to stay here any longer.

However,

your confident claim that you are the strongest of them intrigued me.

If I can’t be sure whether you’re exaggerating, I won’t be able to sleep well when I return.

Since you accepted Luo’s request, let me see how much strength you really possess.”

Yang Yu smiled, then casually pointed to an open space nearby,

”This isn’t a good place for a fight, let’s go over there. If I win, I hope you can immediately go back and rest.”

Sena did not hesitate and agreed to Yang Yu’s request while also placing her own condition, if Yang Yu lost, he would show her another demon stored in the warehouse and the next time they met, Yang Yu would listen to her advice humbly, even if he didn’t want to become a real Monster Tamer, he must learn how to take care of a demon.

To end this episode quickly, Yang Yu agreed to Sena’s demands.

They both headed to an open field not far from the hotel.

The area was originally intended for construction, but due to the developer’s failure to gather sufficient funds and its slightly remote location, they simply gave up on continuing development.

Stepping over the carelessly placed fence, Yang Yu and his companion entered the open field.

Besides randomly piled stones, the flat land was overgrown with all sorts of weeds; it wasn’t as good as the Duel Arena, but it still made an excellent combat zone.

Yang Yu brandished a sword and shield, while Luo simply walked silently across to him and sat down obediently.

At present, it was unclear what kind of demon Luo was, but given his size, similar to an ordinary house cat, he likely possessed extremely agile, needing a bit of caution.

Yet being small had its advantages; Yang Yu could easily block his attacks with the shield.

Just as Yang Yu was thinking this, Luo’s figure swelled in front of him.

Suddenly, Luo transformed from an ordinary black cat into a sleek and beautiful black cheetah, his fluffy tail unwinding slowly, its tip forming into ice crystals sharp as blades.

His body continued to grow, reaching a shoulder height taller than Yang Yu, truly becoming a monstrous creature almost the size of Lotcar.

”Hey, hey, hey! Is this for real? How can such a massive beast shrink down to that size?”
