The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1397: Chapter 1397: Nathalie Quinlan, Do You Know Him?

He stood in front of the girl with his height of nearly six feet, yet he was completely subdued by the girl wearing a duckbill cap, whose face couldn’t be seen, looking like a little chick.

”SUN...”

Aiden almost blurted it out.

Oh my god, he was seeing things!

Before he could shout it out, the girl raised her head. Her dark eyes were rather fiery, and she shot him a cold, fiery glance.

He immediately shut his mouth.

But his mouth was slightly open, clearly still in shock.

It was really SUN!

That day outside the Tsinghua University’s art building, he seemed to have seen the shadow of the girl going in, very much like their boss.

However, Nathalie Quinlan went in too quickly that time, and he only thought it resembled her, not entirely certain.

Until now.

”What are you doing here?” Aiden looked at the girl standing just a step away from him, and he was absolutely certain, the person was indeed Sun.

Besides standing there with a slightly arrogant pose, the cold demeanor all around her wasn’t like anyone else but their boss.

After confirming her identity, besides being shocked, Aiden felt more surprised and puzzled.

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t expect to meet someone she knew when she came to participate in the competition either.

She raised her hand, looked at the man with the striking blonde curls and deep-set features in front of her, and said in a very low voice, ”Here for the competition.”

Aiden: ”...”

Although he couldn’t quite accept this answer for a moment, he became even more certain that the back he saw in Beijing was indeed Nathalie Quinlan. He simply didn’t know how to control his facial expression, and immediately showed an indescribable look, speaking with a stammer: ”You want to participate in, in the competition...”

He didn’t know where to place his hands and feet, this subservient manner of a younger brother meeting the elder stunned everyone around.

The staff from Gondwana who accompanied Aiden saw him change from his usual cool demeanor, speaking so cautiously in front of a girl from Zenla, all were a bit at a loss.

Leo Dunn, like them, didn’t react, couldn’t make sense of the situation in front of him, turned his head and spoke to the girl in surprise: ”Nathalie Quinlan, you know him?”

He had heard from friends in the IT association that this Aiden was very aloof and generally didn’t speak to people.

He didn’t expect Aiden to be so friendly to Nathalie Quinlan, even... his attitude was somewhat respectful.

Nathalie Quinlan knew it would be like this, she pursed her lips, first spoke to the blonde-haired, blue-eyed man: ”We’ll talk later.”

Then she looked at Leo Dunn, who was looking at her with a puzzled expression, and succinctly explained: ”Kind of, just an ordinary acquaintance, not really close.”

”He seems to know you well though...” Leo Dunn looked at Nathalie Quinlan and then at the tall, majestic man in front of him.

Nathalie Quinlan rubbed her temples, not knowing how to explain to him.

Just then, she caught sight of Jackson Wafford not far away, waving at them, signaling for them to come over.

She quickly distracted Leo Dunn by pointing in the direction of Jackson Wafford and said to him: ”Mr. Dunn, Mr. Wafford is calling us. Let’s go over there first.”

”Uh...”

Leo Dunn still had a stomach full of doubts, but with Nathalie Quinlan pushing him, he had to temporarily set aside his doubts and walk towards Jackson Wafford.

...

They walked quickly.

In the blink of an eye, they had joined Jackson Wafford and the three of them got on the elevator together.

As they watched the trio’s figures disappear into the closing elevator.

The young man with blonde hair and blue eyes withdrew his line of sight, turned his face, and after thinking for a moment, said to the staff accompanying him: ”I want to withdraw from the competition.”

”?”

The staff beside him was utterly confused, completely baffled.
