The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1393: Chapter 1393: Nathalie Quinlan, You Type Really Fast With Your Left Hand?

So Mrs. Fisher made quite a big deal of this birthday banquet.

But in reality, not many people paid her any attention.

Aside from some businessmen and nouveau riche families, no one from top families like the Tucker Family bothered with Mrs. Fisher’s birthday banquet.

Mrs. Fisher even had thoughts of arranging a marriage between Zayn Fisher and Audrey Tucker before, but that went nowhere.

She later tried to pair Zayn Fisher with Nadya Tucker, also in Beijing.

Unfortunately, the Tucker family’s Old Lady favored Enrico Tucker and Nadya Tucker most, and Zayn couldn’t even reach Audrey’s level, let alone Mrs. Fisher trying to match her son with Nadya.

Mrs. Fisher went to the Tucker Family several times, only to be politely rejected or sent away courteously by them.

Ultimately, she gave up on marrying Zayn Fisher into the Tucker Family, but even so, she still looked down on Ghania Quinlan, who had fallen to the status of a postponed execution officer.

Mrs. Fisher’s birthday banquet was held at the best five-star hotel in McKinney.

When Emilia Sullivan arrived with Ghania Quinlan, she didn’t have them thrown out by security because of the many guests and her son’s face.

But she didn’t give Ghania and Emilia any respect either, ignoring Ghania’s polite greetings completely.

Right in front of everyone, she showed her disdain, making Ghania extremely embarrassed.

Zayn Fisher called out to his mom, but unfortunately, Mrs. Fisher kept a cold face throughout, unwilling to show even a hint of warmth to Ghania.

...

Mrs. Fisher’s birthday banquet was in the Peony Hall on the first floor.

Near noon, many cars arrived outside, and guests continuously flowed in.

Zayn Fisher was outside welcoming guests, with Ghania beside him.

She was not favored by Mrs. Fisher, so even though she was present, she was like an invisible person. Mrs. Fisher wouldn’t introduce her to the guests.

Ghania felt so excluded that she wished she could find a hole to crawl into. But Zayn was the only one she could cling to, so despite feeling deeply humiliated, she grabbed the skirt hem at her side tightly, enduring Mrs. Fisher’s eye rolls, stubbornly refusing to leave.

Eleven thirty.

Nathalie Quinlan got off the airplane and took the car with Jackson Wafford and the others to the hotel arranged by the organizing committee.

On the way, Leo Dunn mentioned the address of the hotel where they would stay, and Nathalie replied absent-mindedly.

Then she rolled down the car window, leaned against it, resting her arm aside, and turned her phone on.

[Ding]

As soon as she turned it on, a message from Amadeus Yancey came in.

[I got on the airplane, arriving in three hours. Have you arrived?]

Looking at the message he sent, the sunlight outside the car window reflected on her face. Her bright eyes sparkled a little, and she quickly typed a response on the screen with her fingers.

Sadam Vinson and Govert Griffin had also mentioned they wanted to come watch her match.

Amadeus Yancey was probably coming with them.

After replying to him, Nathalie clicked away to check and respond to her other unread messages one by one.

Leo Dunn, who had been talking to Jackson Wafford, turned around and saw the girl casually sitting in the back, half-closed eyes, using her left hand to reply to messages.

He didn’t think much of it initially.

But after another glance, he noticed something remarkable.

”Nathalie, your typing speed with your left hand is really fast?”

”Huh?”

The girl looked up from her messages to glance at him.

Seeing Leo Dunn staring at her left hand with surprise and delight, guessing what he was thinking, she switched the way she held her phone and casually replied, ”It’s alright.”
