The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1396: Chapter 1396: Top 20 Heavenly Ranking Hackers

A few people walked towards them, seemingly about to take the elevator.

Leo Dunn lowered his voice and took the opportunity to give Nathalie Quinlan more information about her opponent in the finals: ”This Aiden is no ordinary person. Although he’s quite young, he’s already ranked 18th on the Heavenly Ranking I mentioned to you before. Don’t be misled by the rank, it’s actually very impressive because the Heavenly Ranking is globally ranked and there’s no age limit!”

”To be his age and ranked in the top twenty.”

There was envy in Leo Dunn’s voice.

In the world of geniuses, no matter how hard an ordinary person like him works for decades, they still can’t match someone who’s in their twenties.

”Geniuses are nothing special after all.”

Nathalie Quinlan listened to his praises of Aiden without the slightest reaction. Raising an eyebrow, she glanced at the people approaching them. She looked at the person Leo Dunn mentioned and found him a bit familiar, but couldn’t immediately recall where she had seen him before.

So Nathalie acknowledged with a nod: ”Hmm, that’s pretty impressive.”

”...” Leo Dunn glanced at her, thinking that she still had little concept of how formidable the Heavenly Ranking was. He moved his eyebrows slightly, intending to explain it to her further: ”This Aiden is the hot favorite to win this software competition. He’s basically the second top contender. Besides him, you have an even stronger opponent. Let’s not talk about that person for now, let’s talk about Aiden first. At 18, he’s already an overseas-famous hacker. You do programming so well, you must know about the Red Alliance?”

Nathalie’s eyelashes lowered, accommodatingly: ”I know.”

”Mm.” Leo Dunn nodded and continued: ”Domestically, Lincoln Hoffman is recognized as the top hacker because he’s been affiliated with the Red Alliance. Aiden is the same, he’s also an overseas member of the Red Alliance. Typically, members of the Red Alliance don’t participate in these kinds of competitions. He is representing Gondwana in the competition because their senator personally sought him out and finally persuaded him to participate.”

Someone from the Red Alliance?

Only then did Nathalie take a closer look at the person, finally recalling where she’d seen them before.

Emma Gabehart would send her a list of new members every year, with photos attached. She’d seen this face on the new members’ photos from a couple of years ago, but to her, foreigners all looked the same: blonde hair, blue eyes, high nose, and deep contours. So she didn’t remember them right away.

If not for Leo Dunn mentioning that the other party was one of the overseas members of the Red Alliance, Nathalie might not have recalled this person at all.

”Barring any surprises, the winner of this competition should be either him or Maxcel.”

Leo Dunn continued explaining the opponents Nathalie would face in the finals. On the other hand, he shared so much also to subtly tell the girl not to feel too pressured.

The opponents she had to face in this competition were not ordinary.

Even if they secured fourth place, it wouldn’t be embarrassing.

Moreover, Nathalie’s right hand had a hairline fracture and she couldn’t use it temporarily.

That Nathalie had the courage to continue competing was already quite commendable, even if they lost, it would be an honorable defeat!

”Don’t worry...”

Leo Dunn was halfway through his words.

A few tall foreigners were about to pass by them when the ’hot favorite to win’ Aiden, whom he introduced so enthusiastically, suddenly seemed to get an electric shock. He walked past them expressionlessly, then suddenly stopped and turned back.

With a look of surprise and disbelief, he returned in front of the two.
