The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1364: Chapter 1364: Amadeus Leaves Everyone Behind and Heads Straight to the Hospital

Amadeus Yancey immediately answered the phone and heard the tense voice of the man on the other end say, ”Mr. Yancey, we investigated a bit, and twenty minutes ago there was a car accident caused by a large truck going the wrong way on Penny Parkway. Among the injured passengers in a taxi, the name registered matches exactly with the name you asked us to look into, Nathalie Quinlan.”

Amadeus Yancey gripped the phone, his knuckles tightening, his brows and eyes cold and stern, his voice very low: ”Say it again.”

”Er...”

The person on the other end didn’t react for a moment.

”Mr. Yancey, do you want me to repeat it?”

Amadeus Yancey’s eyes were extremely dark, the color on his thin lips was very faint, looking almost colorless, in a low voice: ”What was the name of the injured passenger you just mentioned?”

The person on the other end hesitated for a whole second, unsure whether he had just not enunciated clearly or Mr. Yancey had not heard correctly, not daring to offend this person, so he repeated: ”Mr. Yancey, I found the name registered for the injured passenger matches the person you asked us to investigate, Nathalie Quinlan.”

One sentence, also Nathalie Quinlan, settled the dust!

Amadeus Yancey laughed.

Just once.

Nearby, Alfred Garland, who had been eavesdropping, felt the hairs on his body standing up.

Something’s not right with Amadeus’s expression!

What happened!

”Where is she? Which hospital.” Amadeus Yancey’s voice was extremely low, as if wrapped in frost, yet his long legs started moving quickly toward the outside of the Imperial Hotel, his speed astonishingly fast, giving no thought to the many guests behind him.

”Hospital?” Alfred Garland didn’t hear what the person on the other end of the phone was saying, but he heard Amadeus Yancey say hospital, he got anxious, quickly chasing after him: ”Amadeus, who is at the hospital?”

Alfred Garland’s voice was loud, especially in his anxious state, creating quite a commotion.

Candice Yancey couldn’t help but stop her conversation, looking in their direction, frowning slightly, somewhat tense and uneasy.

Who is at the hospital?

It was the first time Alfred Garland didn’t get an answer, he hurried to ask again: ”Amadeus, is Ms. Quinlan at the hospital?”

Candice Yancey was dumbfounded.

Nathalie is at the hospital?

What’s going on?

Amadeus Yancey didn’t pay him any attention, walking quickly outside, replying to the person on the other end of the phone: ”City Hospital’s emergency department? Mm, I know, hanging up.”

He hung up the phone, put it down, ignoring anyone, with a cold face, stormed outside like the wind.

Alfred Garland followed closely behind him, hastily leaving the banquet hall as well.

”What’s up with Mr. Yancey?”

”Why did Mr. Yancey suddenly leave?”

”I heard something about the hospital, Ms. Quinlan... who is Ms. Quinlan?”

A large group from the Yancey Family branches also heard the commotion, all looking at each other, unable to figure out what was going on.

Candice Yancey’s birthday, Amadeus Yancey has always had a good relationship with Candice, yet at this moment, close to the start of the birthday banquet, Amadeus Yancey suddenly left.

The people from the Yancey Family branches suddenly remembered hearing some rumors before.

It’s said that Amadeus Yancey has a new young girlfriend from McKinney.

Could it be that the ’Ms. Quinlan’ mentioned by Alfred Garland, is referring to that girl?

”I think I heard Alfred Garland call ’Ms. Quinlan’.”

Stephanie Tanzil also heard Alfred Garland just mentioning ’Nathalie is at the hospital’, her brows furrowed instantly, her well-maintained face showing anxiety, turned to ask Candice Yancey: ”Did I hear wrong?”

”You didn’t hear wrong, I heard it as well.” Candice Yancey also couldn’t understand what was happening, but she no longer had the mood for a birthday, leaving Stephanie Tanzil and the others in a hurry: ”I’m going to find my family’s elder, you guys have fun.”
