The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1360: Chapter 1360: A Large Truck Crashes Toward Them

On the other side, in the taxi, Nathalie Quinlan hung up Amadeus Yancey’s phone call.

She had just put down her phone when she looked up and saw a large truck rushing towards their direction right in front of them.

The truck was moving very fast.

And it was driving in the wrong direction.

The truck’s front was swaying, it was supposed to hit the cars in front.

But it didn’t!

The blue large truck seemed to be driving erratically, the driver appeared to be drunk, but Nathalie saw very clearly that the truck was coming straight at them.

Under the Duckbill Cap, her bright face suddenly turned cold, and in a hoarse voice, she warned, ”Be careful!”

”What do I do... I, I can’t press the brake.”

The taxi driver was evidently stunned by the sudden accident in front of him.

In extreme fear, people cannot take any responsive measures.

He saw the large truck suddenly burst out in front of him, about to crash into his car, life and death were only a moment away.

The taxi driver’s mind went blank, his legs turned into jelly.

Never mind pressing the brake, he was scared stiff.

Just as the blue large truck’s front continuously approached and was about to crash, the taxi driver closed his eyes, already feeling a chill in his heart.

Only Nathalie maintained a calm judgment, seeing him panicked, she swiftly got up, leaned over from the gap in the driver’s seat.

In a critical moment, she suddenly grabbed the Steering Wheel and turned it to the left.

The taxi’s front suddenly turned to the left.

Without any buffer, at normal driving speed, it suddenly crashed onto the greenbelt next to it.

All that was heard was the ’crunch’ of tires rubbing against the ground, with a bang, the taxi thrillingly avoided the oncoming large truck, the front collided with the buffer belt, and a puff of white smoke billowed from the front...

Meanwhile, the large truck that missed them also collided with a car behind, creating a huge double crash sound.

The incident happened suddenly.

Quite a few pedestrians on the road witnessed this thrilling scene.

”Is there a car accident over there?”

”Oh my god. The large truck was driving the wrong way and hit someone.”

”Call an Ambulance!”

”Someone call an Ambulance quickly, dial 911.”

Someone immediately took out their phone and hurriedly dialed the 911 number, while others were busy calling the police.

...

In the car, after Nathalie felt a sudden spin of the car body, the impact threw her a distance, and she heard the sound of her right hand bone cracking.

There was also a sharp pain from cuts on her arm.

In the violent shaking, she couldn’t confirm her own condition, only feeling warm blood flowing down her arm.

She could roughly judge that she was injured.

She gritted her teeth, waiting for the intense pain in her arm to pass, then immediately asked the crying driver in front: ”Are you okay?”

When the large truck crashed, she reacted fast enough to reach over the driver and grab the Steering Wheel, urgently turning the car to avoid the large truck, crashing onto the greenbelt.

Though their situation looked dire right now, it was infinitely better than being directly crashed head-on by a truck more than several times their size.

The driver shook his head, he was just scared, not injured.

Nathalie roughly assessed his condition, then said: ”Cars easily self-ignite in high temperatures, check if your leg is injured.”

”If not, let’s get out of the car.”

... The driver’s face was pale, not able to say a single word, his lips trembling, clearly not recovered from the brush with death just now.
