The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1395: Chapter 1395: Nathalie: I’ll Send You the Link When I Get Back

After Nathalie Quinlan finished replying to messages, she leaned back against the rear seat and closed her eyes to rest.

In front, Jackson Wafford and Leo Dunn saw the girl through the rearview mirror, wearing her duckbill cap low, with earphones in her ears, her hand resting on her chest, seemingly asleep.

They glanced at each other, naturally lowering their speaking volume, trying to talk and answer calls quietly.

Half an hour later, they arrived at the Intercontinental Hotel where they were staying.

The weather in McKinney was better than in Beijing, where the wind and sand were violent, and September was excessively hot.

By comparison, the weather in McKinney was much milder.

Approaching midday, the sunshine was bright but not overly hot.

Jackson Wafford went to handle the check-in and accommodation procedures, while Nathalie and Leo Dunn waited in the hotel lobby for him.

Nathalie had a strong presence, with her right wrist clearly in a cast, standing tall and slender, attracting attention.

She herself was indifferent, looking down at her phone.

Leo Dunn craned his neck over to see what she was playing, seemingly a small game, with Nathalie’s right hand hanging down as she played skillfully with one hand.

Within a few minutes of watching, he saw the girl pass three levels.

Her speed in advancing through the levels was as quick as cutting vegetables.

”What game is this?” Leo Dunn tilted his head watching for a long time but couldn’t figure out what game she was playing. It seemed this game wasn’t available in the market, so he couldn’t help but ask: ”How come I’ve never seen this game before, it looks quite good, like a tower defense game?”

Nathalie slightly raised her head, her crow-black eyelashes dense and long, fluttering for a moment, she paused the game, and said to him, ”Tower defense game.”

Leo Dunn saw he guessed right and smiled: ”I thought it looked like a tower defense game when you played.”

He paused and then curiously asked Nathalie: ”What’s the name of this game, it looks pretty good, I’ll download it for my daughter one day.”

His daughter was the same age as Nathalie, who usually liked to play a game called PUBG.

He couldn’t understand that game and didn’t really approve of his daughter playing it.

Watching the small game Nathalie was playing, it looked logical and interesting, perfect for his daughter to download, helping develop his child’s logical thinking while playing.

Nathalie lowered her brows, put away her phone, and didn’t directly answer him, only saying: ”I will send you the link when I get back.”

”Need a link?” Leo Dunn was quite surprised.

He intended to ask if the phone app store didn’t have it, but the words didn’t leave his mouth, so he thanked her instead: ”Then I’ll trouble you for that.”

Nathalie nodded, her gaze very composed, extremely poised and calm: ”Mm.”

She wasn’t a talkative person, and Leo Dunn also wasn’t someone who talked excessively, after talking about the small game, the topic ran dry.

He was feeling a bit awkward, and as he lifted his eyes, he saw several people coming in from outside the hotel.

Leo Dunn’s spirits lifted, and he immediately used his elbow to nudge Nathalie, motioning with his chin, indicating her to take a look, quietly introducing.

”Did you see those few people who came in?”

Nathalie followed his gaze, her dark eyes as deep and black as the night starry river, she glanced briefly, saw the leading person, then retracted her line of sight, her left hand in her coat pocket, her expression under the brim of the cap casually relaxed: ”Ah, saw them.”

”That guy walking in front, about six feet tall, he’s the competitor from Gondwana this time, Aiden.”
