The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1361: Chapter 1361: Nathalie Is Injured

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t waste any words, using her uninjured hand to open the car door that was slightly deformed by the impact, calmly getting out first.

She turned around to help the driver open his car door, ”Get out first.”

The driver couldn’t understand how this girl could be so calm in such a situation, but seeing Nathalie so composed, his fear seemed to dissipate a little. He steadied himself somewhat and rolled out of the car.

He barely crawled out of the deformed taxi, his legs trembling uncontrollably, relying on the railings on the greenbelt to sit on the ground.

After the driver got out, he turned back and only then saw how badly the large truck that almost hit them was damaged.

As he gulped, he thanked Nathalie like a survivor of a disaster, ”Girl, thank you!”

He knew very well since he was personally involved that if Nathalie hadn’t quickly grabbed the steering wheel, he would have taken one foot into the grave by now.

”No problem.” Nathalie tugged at her hat brim, planning to find her phone to make a call. After searching all around but failing to find it, she realized that her phone was lost during the car accident.

Her eyes slightly narrowed, and she frowned.

There was something mysterious about this car accident; the large truck driving against traffic clearly aimed to hit them...

Nathalie’s gaze was playful but concealed an air of imminent danger.

She seemed quite calm, not at all like someone who had just gone through a life-or-death experience.

It was the driver, still rattled, who first noticed her right hand was injured and hurriedly said, ”Girl, your hand, your hand is injured!”

”Oh my god, your hand is still bleeding, are you alright!” His reaction was intense.

His intense reaction had its reasons.

Mainly because the girl’s entire right arm was tainted with the color of blood, fresh blood dripping from the sleeve of her plaid shirt beneath her coat.

Drop by drop.

It looked very serious.

The driver hadn’t noticed this at first because Nathalie’s behavior was astonishingly calm in the face of danger, making him feel inferior as a middle-aged man.

Not to mention just surviving a moment of life and death.

As an ordinary person, fear overtook him, having no presence of mind to notice others.

So now.

Just after he regained his composure, he realized the young passenger who saved his life was injured herself, her arm covered in blood.

The driver suddenly panicked, paying no mind to whether Nathalie cared about her injury; he was more anxious than Nathalie.

At just the right moment, 911 arrived.

As the ambulance came over, the driver pulled her along, quickly turning back to shout loudly for help, ”Over here, someone is injured!”

*

Such a major car accident had occurred on the road.

With the ambulance and the traffic police arriving, many onlookers gathered, blocking this section of the road completely.

Everyone was discussing the thrilling scene of the large truck driving against traffic just now.

Hendrik Zachmann’s black Range Rover was stuck at the roadside, and as he saw the road ahead blocked, he grew restless, rolled down the car window, glanced forward, and absent-mindedly spoke to Leonardy Zachmann in the passenger seat, ”What happened up ahead, why is there traffic congestion?”

Leonardy Zachmann looked ahead, ”Probably a car accident.”

Beijing’s traffic is busy, with many cars on the road, inevitably leading to accidents.

It’s not an uncommon occurrence.

He was used to it.

”Oh.” Hendrik Zachmann felt somewhat restless, his handsome eyes gazing towards the direction of the car accident ahead, impatiently saying, ”If it’s a car accident, who knows how long we’ll be stuck here!”
