The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 784: Chapter 784: Amadeus: I’ll Just Quietly Follow_1

On the other side.

The Ninth Institute.

Amadeus Yancey’s room was right across from Nathalie Quinlan’s.

He never used to stay at The Ninth Institute, and even if he did come by, he mostly spent his nights at Rhine’s apartment or the Yancey Family Residence. His rare decision to stay this time, choosing a room next to Nathalie’s, made the intentions clear to most people at The Ninth Institute.

Having just parted ways with Nathalie, he returned to his room for a shower and changed into a robe. The robe, a dark cyan hue, looked both crisply tailored and lazily draped on him. The sash wasn’t tied tightly, hanging loosely and revealing a patch of his pale, toned chest.

The man’s hair still dripped with water, a towel in hand remained unused as he walked to the bed and picked up his phone, just in time to see the message from Sadam Vinson.

[Lighten Chaser is Audrick Zachmann’s sister? How come I have never heard of this before?]

”Hmm?” Amadeus’s fingertips lightly brushed across the phone screen, his eyes half-closed in a frivolous yet noble gaze. He craned his neck and looked down, then dialed Sadam back.

The call connected instantly.

He walked over to the balcony with his phone, his voice husky from the bath, ”How did you find out about this?”

”Twitter, it’s blowing up on Twitter. My phone pushed the notification, and I just saw it,” Sadam’s voice was reckless, with loud background music, indicating he was outside, ”Damn, what’s going on, is Lighten Chaser really Audrick’s sister? Which sister? Caryn Zachmann?”

”It’s not her.”

While Sadam continued to ask who it was, Amadeus lazily lifted his head, glancing at the firmly shut balcony windows across the room, leaning on the railing, ”I’ll tell you later.”

Having said that, he hung up.

After hanging up the call, he opened Twitter.

He hadn’t used the app in a long time, so upon opening it, he was prompted to log in. It took a moment for Amadeus to recall his username and password.

He logged in.

It had been a while since he’d used such social software. As soon as he logged in, Twitter displayed a stream of notifications from the people he followed.

Amadeus Yancey spotted the first name on the list in an instant.

Lighten Chaser.

Fan count: 200,000+.

His tender, rosy lips curled slightly. He clicked to follow first, then entered the profile of the only person he had just followed.

He went in.

And saw the few tweets the account had made.

Account created three hours ago.

Besides system messages.

A new message was posted half an hour ago.

Concisely mentioning Audrick, with just two words.

My brother.

The heat had already exploded.

The number of comments on that retweeted message had far exceeded fifty thousand, with the trend still rising.

His fingertips tapped on the phone screen, scrolling to Nathalie’s retweeted message, and clicked to see the comments below.

When he saw the content of the most upvoted comment, his eyes grew slightly colder. After checking the name of the person, he exited Twitter, pulled up his phone book, and made a call.

”Hello...” His tone was icy and protective.

Meanwhile, Angela Catterton had already reached out through her extensive network of contacts to get in touch with the people at Twitter and was on the phone with them.

The phone rang for over ten times before someone picked up.

She couldn’t wait to answer, her voice cheerful, ”Mr. Eden, hello, this is Angela Catterton. My brother-in-law has told you about my situation, right? I hope you guys can help me out...”

The Catterton Family’s connections in Beijing were extraordinary, supported by the towering Wilmar Family, with many in their ranks rising through the political path.

This was where Angela drew her confidence from when she previously did not give face to Audrick’s agent.

The Zachmann Family was good.

But they had no sway here.
