The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 759: Chapter 759: Not a Doctorate, but a Master’s Degree?_1

The speaker was an expert from the overseas research organization MPG, who was very famous internationally. There was no malice in his deep blue eyes, merely a pure curiosity towards Nathalie Quinlan.

However, Brian Bonette found himself at a loss for words for a moment.

”She...” he was about to say that Nathalie Quinlan was not one of their people from The Ninth Institute.

Little did he know that Amadeus Yancey, standing beside him, narrowed his eyes slightly, displaying a noble, languid demeanor with a clear voice that carried a hint of pride, ”She is The Ninth Institute’s rookie this year, not a Ph.D.”

”Not a Ph.D.?” The middle-aged man with blond hair and blue eyes was taken aback for a moment. He looked at the girl on the stage and then turned his head to look at him, quite interested, ”Oh, no wonder, I was thinking why she looked so young. Which university’s master’s student is she?”

The Ninth Institute was the most prestigious research institution in the country. Anyone from The Ninth Institute would easily have a Ph.D. level of academic qualifications if taken elsewhere.

A Master’s degree was the lowest level they could imagine for her.

Little did they know.

Amadeus Yancey smiled slightly, resting his hand on the conference table and gazing towards the girl who had walked onto the stage, his thin lips curved in a smile, ”No, she isn’t a Master’s student either.”

”...Not a Master’s student?” The other party looked at Nathalie Quinlan’s excessively young face, pondered for a moment, and despite some disbelief, still asked, ”Could it be that she is an undergraduate?”

”Tsinghua University?”

”Southern University?”

The other party only knew about these two domestic universities and was not particularly familiar with other schools.

Amadeus Yancey lifted his eyelids slightly, his pupils deep and bottomless, looking at him, he uttered a response that shocked all the foreign experts.

”None of them. She’s in her third year of high school and hasn’t started college yet.”

The experts from MPG and MIT, two of the top overseas institutions, fell silent all at once, exchanging glances, none of them understanding what The Ninth Institute was up to.

At an academic conference of such a high caliber, why would The Ninth Institute bring a high school student? What was the meaning of this?

Brian Bonette could see that the atmosphere in the conference room had turned weird, as the twenty or so experts looked at each other, all with puzzled faces.

His temples throbbed violently, and he lowered his voice, ”Amadeus, what are you doing? You’re not seriously considering letting Nathalie Quinn stand in for Wallace Radcliff, are you?”

”What’s wrong with that?” The man with narrowed eyes appeared calm and collected, leaning back in his chair with an air of ease that showed no sign of concern.

He was not at all worried about Nathalie Quinlan replacing Wallace Radcliff.

Brian Bonette took a deep breath and then another, unable to make himself as composed as him. He turned his head to look at the podium.

The girl had already reached the computer on the stage and inserted her USB flash drive into the projector’s computer. Once everything was ready, she raised her head, her stunning face eye-catching. She opened her eyelids, her pitch-black pupils shining like stars in the dark night, exuding a powerful aura, ”Hello, experts. I am Nathalie Quinlan, and today I will be introducing you to the autonomous driving technology...”

The girl’s voice echoed in the lecture hall, a kind of sparse, slightly husky voice that was inexplicably eye-catching.

Brian Bonette was restless, but now he found himself involuntarily concentrating on the girl on the stage, strangely drawn to her.

Nathalie Quinlan sat with her legs crossed, her straight and long legs sheathed in denim. She leaned over, one hand operating the mouse, the other typing on the keyboard expertly, all while talking, without even raising her head, in a cool tone, methodically explaining, ”Before I demonstrate the operation system for autonomous driving, let me first show you how to resolve the Lizard’s Tail virus.”
