Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 800: Chapter 237: Ultimate Power (2)

Of course, having complete control over plasma and the ability to defend against it, the purely evolved version of the flying insect, is also part of Chen Ming’s plan.

However, in the short term, the destructive power of suicidal explosive insects as disposable weapons is definitely much stronger than that of the regular plasma flying insects.

Chen Ming doesn’t like Zuo Jing very much, but he has always appreciated the self-destruct technology he learned from Zuo Jing.

So this idea naturally came to his mind, and he refined it.

With these two technologies, when the real fight starts, they would first release a wave of plasma suicidal explosive insects to damage the shield armor.

Then the plasma flying insects would enter to finish the battle.

Following this line of thinking.

Chen Ming also thought of another angle he hadn’t considered before.

That’s launching insect eggs from the biological spaceship equipped with parasites, those that can directly control individual units of the Mechanical Race.

These parasites don’t need to hatch during the launch into space; as long as the insect eggs hit their target, the parasites can use the energy contained within their energy crystals to grow and parasitize the ship.

Using parasites to control the ship.

Although it may be a bit difficult, as the size of the parasites compares favorably to ordinary Mechanical Race units, but when facing a spaceship, it poses some challenges.

Nevertheless, Chen Ming still finds this plan valuable, even if they can’t control an entire spaceship, controlling part of it to interfere with the ship’s operation shouldn’t be a problem.

Chen Ming has even thought of names for these three new types of biological spaceship weapons.

[Biomissile · Parasite], [Biomissile · Plasma Suicidal Explosive Insect], and [Biowarcraft · Plasma Flying Insect].

They all have practical value.

It even makes Chen Ming feel that he should let the Insect Queen’s kind of biological spaceship specifically develop towards this direction, which should count as a carrier.

Relying on suicidal explosive insects and other combat flying insects, shaping a combat style combining missiles and aircraft.

However, this is still just an idea.

The most important thing now is to get the special combat units developed.

The survival ability of the special combat units has been guaranteed, so now it’s time to move on to the next phase.

But there’s no rush to start yet.

Because it’s still early morning.

After getting up and washing, Chen Ming quickly asked someone to send breakfast over, then picked up the daily report sent by Bai Quan today.

From the first day Bai Quan gave him this report, he has been studying its contents every day without fail.

After all, it lets him learn a lot without leaving his place, and parts of it can be verified through his external connections.

Especially when it comes to changes in public opinion, Chen Ming is able to understand them very clearly.

Considering that the rumors about Bai Quan’s mismanagement and potential embezzlement in the Fourteenth Legion Branch can’t be easily ignored.

This news has been spreading across the entire Star Realm.

The report from Bai Quan even clearly documented these contents.

Chen Ming verified and indeed found such rumors spreading in many places.

This is not just due to the timely transmission of intelligence from Lao Wu and Glasses.

There must also be other forces fueling the dissemination of this information.

Allowing those outside the Fourteenth Legion to quickly and promptly learn about this false news.

However, Bai Quan certainly saw it before him, and since Bai Quan maintained his usual manner during lessons, Chen Ming said nothing more.

Coincidentally today, Bai Quan requested leave, saying he had something to do in the morning and would make up the lesson in the evening.

He also casually asked Chen Ming if he had time to attend a meeting he was holding today.

Said it was to announce new rules and regulations for the branch.

While Chen Ming could attend military-related meetings, he had little involvement in what were clearly political matters.

Additionally, Bai Quan’s casual tone didn’t imply that Chen Ming had to attend, so he declined.

Nonetheless, from these actions, Chen Ming could tell that Bai Quan was certainly pushing something forward.

Since things are progressing, Chen Ming doesn’t feel a need to focus all his attention on this matter.

He conveniently used the morning for research.

After having breakfast, Chen Ming turned on the terminal to stream Bai Quan’s meeting.

He half-listened to the meeting content from Bai Quan’s side while attending to his own tasks.

In the past few days, other than the research being conducted by the Insect Queen, Chen Ming also focused on simulation experiments.

Primarily to replicate tested data from simulations in front.

This task is quite straightforward; once the initial idea is formed, remaining tasks are just preparing some required items, then letting the computer handle calculations.

In a few days, Chen Ming managed to replicate the research progress of most simulations.

The next step will involve entirely new research.

Chen Ming even needs to spend time identifying aspects he hasn’t explored and require computational simulations.

To input these into the computer for analysis, adding them to the content he’s researched, and then have Lou Wei compensate more.

Another element, the research on the synchronous accelerator core, is also advancing steadily.
