Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 801: Chapter 237: Ultimate Power_3

However, just like when researching the Purgatory Core before, there’s still a shortage of equipment.

Since this task was assigned by Bai Quan, there’s no need for Chen Ming to spend his own funds to buy the equipment. He just needs to inform Bai Quan and wait for it to be sent over, which should arrive tonight or tomorrow.

However, from Chen Ming’s current perspective on the research of the Synchronous Accelerator Core, he can clearly feel the different focuses between the Synchronous Accelerator Core and the Purgatory Core.

The latter primarily focuses on combat.

While the former, based on the past two days of rudimentary research.

Chen Ming can basically confirm that it is used in logistics.

There is also a backdoor left for Psychics on the Synchronous Accelerator, which is likely used to enhance logistics capabilities.

Moreover, it seems to have some important connection with the nanobots closely related to the Mechanical Race.

Of course, Chen Ming cannot delve further into the research now; he still has to wait.

So now, research on the units of the Insect Race is more crucial.

Chen Ming has three demands for the special operations units of the Insect Race: survival, mobility, and combat.

Survival is already assured, so mobility is the next issue to tackle.

Chen Ming wants more than just giving the special operations individual the ability to move around normally.

After all, normal ground movement is certainly not a problem now.

Even the lump of flesh lying there, with just a slight adjustment to make the muscle tissue normal, can move without issues.

And given the physical strength of that lump of flesh, its mobility will not be poor at all.

So, Chen Ming wants more.

He wants to meet the standards set by Yan Xiong back then.

To grant this special operations unit the ability to break through planetary gravity with its flesh and function in a space environment.

At first glance, a Biological Spaceship already partially meets this condition.

To achieve breaking through the atmosphere and escaping planetary gravity with flesh can rely on a Biomass Propulsion Device, paired with a biological engine like the Rigid Digestion Pouch.

Moreover, equipped with a Superspace Stable Tissue, which is equivalent to the Superspace Navigation Engine system evolved by the first-generation Insect Queen, it can even enter Superspace.

This indeed meets Chen Ming’s demands.

But what Chen Ming wants is a more flexible, more compact unit with comprehensive combat capability specialized for ground operations.

Warships can’t always replace ground units; Chen Ming just needs the special operations unit he’s researching to have the ability to move in space and dodge interceptions.

To meet this idea, the entire special operations unit must be miniaturized.

All bodily tissue components must fit inside a body no larger than eight meters.

This is Chen Ming’s ideal size.

It is also the general size of a shuttle boat that can land on a planet and take off again.

If further reduction is possible, then as small as possible, ideally down to the size of an average human.

Anyway, the main attack method of the special operations unit in the end will definitely be plasma, so such a large-scale attack method doesn’t really need a big body.

Therefore, Chen Ming’s demand is very clear.

To shrink all the large organs of a Biological Spaceship to fit inside a few-meter-sized biological body and still ensure these organs perform their original functions.

As long as the original functions are guaranteed, these organs will perform as intended.

The idea is set, and Chen Ming already has a plan for implementation.

Chen Ming communicated with the Insect Queen, and soon the Insect Queen manufactured a new form roughly over twenty meters long, slightly smaller than a typical Frigate.

However, unlike the previous one.

This lump of flesh is no longer just pure muscle tissue and some connective tissue, but rather a highly dense array of various organs Chen Ming needs for the special operations individual, designed deliberately by the Insect Queen.

These crowded organs continuously reject each other, constantly squeezing and harming one another.

Over time, either the internal organs face issues, or the outer epidermal tissue encounters problems.

This is the densest way the Insect Queen can currently design the layout of organs inside a biological entity.

Chen Ming wants this kind of effect.

Such a design is evidently quite irrational, so next, he just needs to use the Psychic’s deep Maintenance, and his Spiritual Energy will optimize this clearly irrational structure.

Chen Ming, having mastered deep Maintenance for some time, is naturally very clear on how to use Spiritual Energy effectively.

This design will definitely allow his Spiritual Energy to gradually and reasonably minimize each structure without losing function.

This is Chen Ming’s command and application of his Spiritual Energy.

One day quickly passed by.

The next morning.

Chen Ming focused his attention back on the Insect Queen.

This time the optimization did not fail like the previous lump of chaotic genes, and it was indeed successful.

However, the depth of the deep Maintenance was still insufficient.

The lump of flesh, over twenty meters large, hasn’t shrunk much. Only its internal organs were reduced greatly, arranged very reasonably and perfectly within the lump of flesh.

So, Chen Ming still needs to let the Insect Queen master the manufacturing methods for these significantly shrunken various organs, and then repeat the previous steps.
