Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 782: Chapter 232 DP-2_4

At the same time, the shuttle boat was instantly modified for overload, with the engine bursting out a severalfold speed as it rushed toward the Destroyer Level cargo ship.

Under Chen Ming’s control, the shuttle boat gracefully carved a curve and directly collided with the armor on top of the cargo ship.

Chen Ming, enduring the impact, leaped out of the shuttle boat, landed on the top of the spaceship, and with a touch to the ship’s armor, he instantly took over the cargo spacecraft.

After controlling the spaceship to decelerate and hover, the top armor of the ship suddenly rippled like the surface of water, and Chen Ming directly sank into it, landing inside the cockpit of the cargo ship.

The door of the cockpit was tightly closed, and the signal of incoming communication requests was continuously sounding in front of the control panel.

And in front of the control panel, there was only one person sitting there.

His trembling hands instinctively gripped the joystick, but his entire face was immersed in a look of intoxication, as if he had just experienced something pleasurable.

This was the reason the spaceship had been flying erratically just now.

Such a situation was something Chen Ming had seen similarly documented in a few articles he read before.

Frowning, he stepped forward and pulled open the pilot’s eyelids, observing a slight dilation in the pupils, along with dense bloodshot streaks.

And at the end of these bloodshot streaks in the eyeballs, there was a slightly unpleasant pink tint.

”As expected, drug use... No, it’s injection of illegal drugs.”

Chen Ming glanced at the floor next to him, where there were four or five syringes with residues of pink liquid.

Chen Ming had seen this kind of thing more than once before; it’s a stimulant with the military’s internal code DP-2, notorious for its extremely high addiction.

This pilot had become this disgusting sight just because he injected himself with it.

If Chen Ming hadn’t come to take over, this Destroyer Level cargo ship would have crashed into the dome, causing massive damage.

Even if Chen Ming could react quickly and protect all the personnel, the equipment loss would still be significant.

Although this seemed like an accidental incident caused by the pilot overdosing on stimulants as a junkie during work.

But such a dosage of stimulant, Chen Ming would even believe it was a premeditated suicide attempt.

Therefore, this was another targeted plan.

Chen Ming sighed, really unable to understand why someone would go out of their way to disgust him.

He mused that he hadn’t really provoked many people in total, right?

It was only with Zuo Jing, where he actively sabotaged Zuo Jing’s plan, causing resentment.

But others were proactively trying to mess with him.

Chen Ming sighed again, his gaze returning to the pilot.

Suddenly, Chen Ming noticed the pilot’s breathing was gradually weakening, seemingly about to die due to an overdose of stimulants.

And at this moment, Chen Ming suddenly thought of something else.

Did the pilot inject himself with these stimulants willingly, or was he forced to?

Willingly or forced?

If willingly, there’s nothing much to say; just another death soldier sent by someone unknown.

But if forced...

Then he cannot die just yet.

Chen Ming immediately dragged the pilot from the seat, laying him flat on the ground and tugging open the sleeve of his work uniform.

Several fresh needle marks appeared on the pilot’s right arm in front of him.

And with Chen Ming’s continued inspection, he found no other traces of stimulant usage.

This meant this could have possibly been the pilot’s first time using the stimulant.

The likelihood that he had been forcibly made like this was quite high.

This made it even more necessary for Chen Ming to treat him.

But a glance at the cargo ship’s warehouse and various compartments showed nothing that could provide emergency treatment for this condition.

He could rely on only one thing to treat this pilot now.

Alien technology of the Insect Race.
