Chapter 275: Threatening Me with a Dog, What Kind of Skill Is That?

”Uncle, where are you going?”

Seeing Lin Zifeng rush toward the second floor, Liu Tangtang hurriedly stepped forward to stop him, ”This is my bestie’s cousin’s house, how did you get here?”

Chewing gum, Liu Tangtang’s face looked the picture of justice, her pure white little hands stretched out to block Lin Zifeng, puffing her cheeks and refusing to let him pass.

Lin Zifeng, who was already feeling out of sorts, now became even more irritated. I’ve been here for a whole month, and you ask me how I got here? I haven’t even asked you how you got in, yet you’re asking me? The question itself was laughable.

Lin Zifeng found it somewhat amusing.

”Who is your sister?” Lin Zifeng was reluctant to talk to this little kid, this girl was at most seventeen years old, and that’s counting on the higher side. Heaven knows how old she really is.

”Hua Buqi, don’t you recognize her?” Liu Tangtang looked at him with a blank face, starting to feel puzzled. This top-notch uncle couldn’t possibly not recognize Hua Buqi, could he? If they didn’t know each other, how could he appear here? This is Hua Buqi’s cousin’s house, after all; it’s impossible that they don’t know each other.

”Can’t be bothered with you. Psh!”

Lin Zifeng flicked his hand, ignoring her. Hua Buqi is just Hua Buqi, what’s with the grandiose nickname, ’Hua Boss’? More like Hua ”Can’t Afford”.

”You stop right there, you stop! If you run, I’ll let the big handsome guy bite you, you know!”

If it’s not shocking, it’s not spoken.

In an instant, Lin Zifeng’s face turned stiff, and his expression was as spectacular as it could be.

Big, handsome guy! What big handsome guy, wasn’t she calling me just now in the bathroom?

Was it all just my wishful thinking? Foolishly rushing out on my own?

Seeing Liu Tangtang petting the big clumsy St. Bernard in her arms, Lin Zifeng couldn’t express how heartbroken he felt. To think I fancied myself a handsome guy because she called me one, and that’s why I ran out. Turns out, it was all just a farce, now this is really sad.

Lin Zifeng’s face turned red, quickly tightening the towel around his waist, fearing it would fall off and be mistaken by others as a perverted wolf. That really would be indescribable and unexplainable.

”Heh heh, don’t be like that, let’s talk this out slowly, violence doesn’t solve anything. Besides, I see that you, young lady, look so delicate and beautiful, you don’t seem like the type to be prone to violence. The Hua Boss you just mentioned, I know her. It’s Huahua, right? I’ve even been her bodyguard. If you don’t believe me, you can call and check,” Lin Zifeng tried to keep his voice as low as possible, knowing he was at fault for initially mistaking Liu Tangtang for some sort of delinquent girl, and it was his misunderstanding that had her putting on a smiling face to make it up to her.

”Oh, I remember now, you’re the ’Beast Uncle’ Hua Buqi talked about!” Liu Tangtang pointed with her little finger, smiling eerily, ”Just as expected, I thought Hua Buqi was just kidding, but it turns out you’re exactly like the image she described. No wonder Hua Buqi dislikes you so much.”

”Ah, that, well, it’s all personal disputes, personal disputes, no need to hurt feelings like this,” Lin Zifeng said, forcing a smile, before adding, ”That, um, I need to go upstairs to change clothes. We can deal with whatever it is later.”

Not wearing a decent piece of clothing and just standing here wrapped in a bath towel while talking to her, the discomfort was indescribable.

By now, Lin Zifeng finally felt his head getting heavier. He hadn’t expected that dealing with a lolita was already a challenge, let alone Hua Buqi unexpectedly bringing along such a supreme soft sister. This could well be the death of him.

”No way!”

To Lin Zifeng’s surprise, Liu Tangtang outright rejected his request, her eyes glinting, ”We still have unfinished business between us.”

Unfinished business? What business? Lin Zifeng was confused.

Man, where did I offend you? We’ve only known each other for less than five minutes; could there be any unsettled accounts between us? The just-bath-towel-clad Lin Zifeng felt wronged beyond words.

Liu Tangtang now understood that the person before her was not someone playing at human body art but the sleazy uncle who had been hiding inside taking a shower. However, she didn’t know why Lin Zifeng had run out like that, and considering all the bad habits Hua Buqi had mentioned about him, she really believed the uncle before her was utterly shameless after their verbal sparring.

Seeing Lin Zifeng’s shifty thoughts, the clever Liu Tangtang seemed to have realized something.

”Hehe, little girl, beauty, what account could we possibly have that needs settling? Look, uncle here is only wrapped in a bath towel, you wouldn’t just chat with me like this, right? Besides, even if I’m willing to do this, I doubt you’d be comfortable.”

”Oh, I would never have guessed, look at you putting on an act, just keep it up, continue with your act.”

What the hell am I putting on an act for? Lin Zifeng really wanted to roar it out loud.

”Uncle, if your behavior today were known to Master Hua, what do you think would happen?” Liu Kangtang fluttered her colored eyelids, her smile both charming and sly as she watched Lin Zifeng, ”If you don’t want Master Hua to find out, you’ll have to agree to do something for me, otherwise, hehe, you know what I mean.”

Liu Tangtang felt quite cool and mighty. On her first day here, she managed to easily gain a little henchman who could also be of help to her in the future, her joy knew no bounds.

”What do you want me to do?”

Lin Zifeng immediately became wary, wondering why girls these days always had so many demands, always insisting on a favor when they had the upper hand. Don’t they have better things to do than making others run errands and be at their beck and call?

”I haven’t decided yet. I’ll tell you when I do,” Liu Tangtang puffed out her budding chest, her heart brimming with delight as she laughed, ”If you dare to toy with me, be careful that I spill the beans about your home art antics to Master Hua, and then let’s see what moves you’ve got left.”

”Oh no, beautiful girl, uncle understands what to do now.” Lin Zifeng tried to look as pathetic as possible. Once he got to his room and changed into a set of clothes, it was anybody’s guess who would be playing whom. For now, the big stupid dog at her side had been glaring at him which was why he hadn’t refused.

”Hmph, scared now, aren’t you? Now that I’ve got leverage on you, if you don’t obey, hehe, you should know the consequence,” Liu Tangtang turned her head and threatened.

Lin Zifeng was consumed with a sense of injustice, depicted by several black lines running through his mind. Although, if word of this got out, it indeed would be quite troublesome. He grimaced, gritted his teeth, and muttered, ”You play hardball!”

Threatening me using a dog, what a way to show off.
