Chapter 257 Am I Very Rude When I Fight?

Who would have thought that this woman could strike with such ruthlessness?

Looking at Mu Yang’s darkening beautiful face, Lin Zifeng felt some trepidation stirring within.

If he had offended her that day, wouldn’t his fate be just like the groaning guy currently lying on the ground?

Thinking about it made his scalp tingle.

The dinner tonight, should he still, still go for it?

If he did eat, who knew if he might suddenly be subject to some unspoken rule?

If he was unwilling, would his fate be exactly like the two gentlemen currently in distress?

This guy really considered himself a hot dish, even having the mood to entertain such salacious thoughts? Thinking about the embarrassing event that evening...

”She really has the appearance of an angel with the scheming of a devil,” someone whispered in awe.

”Wow... this woman has such a strong personality? I like it...”

”We can only watch. With her fiery temper and amazing kung fu skills, do you guys dare to take her on?”

”Truly someone not to provoke, just those skills alone are enough to make many men steer clear.”

At that moment, more and more employees dining on the second floor gathered around, all of them criticizing Mu Yang for being too harsh while also feeling secretly thrilled for her. In an instant, the entire second-floor restaurant focused all their attention on this scene.

There were various opinions; some praised Mu Yang for empowering women, while others said that she was too devious, and that one must never marry a woman with such a bad temper, in case she treated you like a punching bag on a whim.

The person in question, Mu Yang, seemed indifferent and tossed her chin up at Lin Zifeng, looking smug and flirty.

From the look she threw his way, it wasn’t hard to discern whether her actions and expression were a deliberate warning to Lin Zifeng.

Mu Yang, who came from a distinguished family, might appear frail, but her martial arts skills were certainly no joke. During her university years, she had won the women’s karate championship across the entire school!

And she secured not a small achievement in the national women’s karate under 50kg category.

She broke the historical record for women at a local karate club.

Dealing with these two despicable men was a piece of cake for her.

”You! What are you doing!?”

Wu Yong, who had been closely monitoring the situation from the shadows, finally rushed over.

Seeing his two henchmen beaten up by a woman to such a miserable state, he immediately lost his temper.

If they had been beaten by Lin Zifeng, he would have sought all means to trouble him, but now, being beaten up by a frail woman and not being able to retaliate, Wu Yong, no matter how thick-skinned, could not settle this account with a woman. Most importantly, she had injured them fearlessly in front of everyone, acting as if nothing had happened, completely beyond everyone’s expectations—hurting people without any fear?

Based on Wu Yong’s knowledge, Mu Yang’s identity was the most suspect and mysterious beauty within the company.

In just a short half a year, she had climbed to her current position, which puzzled many who were envious and couldn’t understand.

Upon arrival, Wu Yong first checked on the two henchmen lying on the ground in agony, then stood up and spoke with a slightly apologetic tone, ”I wonder where my two colleagues have offended Manager Mu?”

Wu Yong behaved like a gentleman, unlike his two reckless and thoughtless henchmen.

But he, cunning and strategic, immediately spotted Lin Zifeng hiding behind Mu Yang, looking as if the matter did not concern him.

”Ask the two of them and you’ll understand,” Mu Yang said casually as she took out a wet wipe from her pocket, wiped her hands, and pulling the bewildered Zhang Xixi, she whispered, ”Let’s go, we’re not in the mood for this meal now. When we’re free, I’ll make it up to you.”

Under Wu Yong’s sinister demeanour, Mu Yang didn’t hesitate, took Zhang Xixi by the hand, turned back to give Lin Zifeng a look, walked up to Wu Yong, suddenly stopped, and sneered, ”You better teach them a lesson on how to behave properly. This is just a warning and a bit of saving face for the people behind you.”

Having said this, he led Zhang Xixi away, still maintaining a calm and charming smile on his face, striding confidently towards the exit stairs.

Lin Zifeng didn’t linger either, hurriedly following them in a servile manner, and as he passed by Wu Yong, he stepped out, crushing one of the howling beasts beneath his foot, which elicited yet another agonizing scream.

Perhaps because the shrieks from before had been too piercing, not many had noticed Lin Zifeng’s savage kick.

Watching the trio walk away with confidence, Wu Yong’s face couldn’t have looked worse.

He itched to run up, grab that woman who had disrespected him, slap her across the face, then strip her naked and viciously pin her to the ground, ravaging her.

The scene of violence in the restaurant happened quickly and also dissipated quickly, with the staff on the second floor treating it as a spectacle, not taking it too seriously, after all, neither of the two were to be trifled with.

Fortunately, the restaurant wasn’t very crowded at the time; otherwise, it would have caused quite a commotion.

...

After exiting the restaurant, Mu Yang’s cheeks were rosy, and she said nonchalantly, ”Ah, it’s been years since I’ve had to fight someone. It felt really good to get a little test in today.”

Upon hearing this, Lin Zifeng nearly stumbled in silent shock.

What does she mean by not having fought in years? Could it be that she used to be involved with the underworld?

Fighting every day?

”Xixi, do you think I was too rough when I fought just now? Could it affect my personal image?”

Mu Yang showed no remorse for hurting someone and even joked about it with Zhang Xixi.

This made Lin Zifeng, who was following behind, feel an annoying mix of aggrievement and frustration.

”I... I don’t know, but you were really amazing just now, Mu Yang. I was so shocked that, had you not grabbed me, I probably wouldn’t have snapped out of it by now.”

Recalling the way Mu Yang had waded into the fray at the restaurant, Zhang Xixi was indeed taken aback. How could such a seemingly delicate woman unleash such a ferocious aura, and her blows were indeed vicious.

In particular, when she kicked those two in the groin, Zhang Xixi couldn’t help but feel a silent pity for them.

”Mu Yang, did you use to learn Kung Fu?”

For Zhang Xixi, who had always been a well-behaved girl, witnessing such skill from a friend for the first time left her curious and even more so, shocked.

Everyone had expected Lin Zifeng to play the role of Guardian Angel in the restaurant incident, to pull off a dramatic rescue.

But who would have thought that he not only had no intention of taking action but also hid behind a woman, and in the end, it was Mu Yang who took it upon herself to protect everyone.

The reversal of roles was beyond anyone’s anticipation.

”Lin Zifeng, I have other matters to attend to; you two go on ahead, let’s catch up another time, okay?”

Lin Zifeng began to make a quick exit, feeling a weird sensation following this woman around.

”Why the rush to leave? How about coming to my place to sit for a while?”

”No, no, you two go ahead and talk. I really have something else; we can meet up another time,” Lin Zifeng desperately wanted to escape the scene as soon as possible.

”Well, if that’s the case, I won’t keep you any longer. Off you go.”

Before she could finish speaking, Lin Zifeng had already hurried off.

This earned Mu Yang an exasperated roll of her eyes.

Watching their playful banter, Zhang Xixi felt an inexplicable bitterness rise within her, feeling like an outsider in their presence.
