After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 308: Chapter 309: Book Signing and Interview [6]

Facing the reporters’ blockade and the enthusiasm of fans, although it was quite a hassle for her, she always carried a smile and never showed the slightest bit of displeasure, even loudly reminding fans that they could attend the event at the autograph signing venue.

From a distance, Jiao Yang casually slid his hands into his pockets, his gaze resting on the girl’s gentle smile. He chuckled, then turned and headed towards the airport exit.

After a brief rest in the car, Luo Xiaoqian went straight to the signing venue.

Originally, the plan was to sign a thousand copies, but because there were so many fans, she decided to take their feelings into consideration and, after discussing with Yu Tong, they added an extra five hundred to the signing quota.

One thousand five hundred autographs later, her fingers were so sore and swollen she could hardly hold the pen.

Although she wanted to keep going, she lacked the strength, and with no choice left, she apologized to the fans and was escorted by everyone to an office in a bookstore upstairs.

With fans all outside, unable to leave, she accepted an interview right there.

This time, the interview was conducted by a journalist known for their sharp criticism, quite authoritative in the industry.

The interview went smoothly, starting with some non-sensitive questions, followed by ones about the production of the single. Luo Xiaoqian handled them all quite well.

”Regarding the matter with Shen Xinyi, I believe Luo Xiaoqian has already been interviewed many times. I don’t like to ask too many repetitive questions. I just want to ask Luo Xiaoqian, regarding the rumors with Asia View Group’s Asia Pacific Region President Mr. Jiao Yang, do you have anything you’d like to explain?”

Because the autograph session ran over, Yu Tong hadn’t had the chance to give Luo Xiaoqian any pointers on handling the interview, so when she heard the sharp question, she was quite nervous.

Luo Xiaoqian smiled, as calmly as Jiao Yang had taught her on the plane, ”Mr. Jiao Yang and I are acquaintances, and then we had a meal together. I accidentally fell, and he helped me up, just in time to be photographed. That’s all there was to it.”

With rumors like these, the more you hide, the more they’ll pry. If you speak openly, it often loses intrigue.

Her tone was straightforward, her smile genuine, making the journalist’s question lose its bite, feeling that there was no story worth digging into. The journalist then shifted the topic to Leng Zimo.

His questions, like those about Mr. Jiao Yang, were basically similar. With the crash course from Jiao Yang, Luo Xiaoqian handled them with ease, not showing the slightest hint of panic.

After several rounds of questioning, the journalist failed to dig up anything valuable and had to redirect the questions to the new single, looking for fresh news angles.

After all, as an outstanding journalist, if he only published what others had chewed over, he would lose credibility.

”I was so worried just now!” When the interview ended and she was sitting in the car with Luo Xiaoqian, protected by security, Yu Tong still couldn’t help but express her relief, ”I was really afraid that you would make a mistake and that guy would catch you in a slip-up.”

Luo Xiaoqian smiled and gently rubbed her palms together.

In fact, from the moment she sat across from the journalist, both of her palms had been sweating.

This time, had she not met Jiao Yang on the plane, she would definitely not have been able to handle it.

After pondering for a moment, she took her mobile phone out of her bag.

Only then did she notice that there were several text messages, all from Leng Zimo, and the content was pretty much the same as what Jiao Yang had taught her, all being tips on handling the media and journalists.
