After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 303: Chapter 304: An Unexpected Encounter with Shen Xinyi [1]

Luo Xiaoqian had just settled into her chair when Yu Tong brought over a schedule.

”This is the work plan for the next few days, take a look and ask me if you have any questions.”

”Okay!”

Luo Xiaoqian took the schedule and glanced over it briefly. The details of a week’s work plan were neatly outlined on it. Because she was promoting her single, her schedule was packed; she likely wouldn’t return to the Capital within the week.

The life of an artist is just like this, filled with various appearances and promotional events. Behind the glamour and fame lies hardships unimaginable to ordinary people. Relatively speaking, Emperor View’s management is quite professional and plans to push Luo Xiaoqian to the front line without arranging unnecessary commercial performances for her. Otherwise, she might be even busier.

On her way to the airport, right before boarding the plane, Luo Xiaoqian’s cell phone rang.

She joyfully fished it out of her bag, only to see an unfamiliar number displayed on the screen.

After hesitating for a moment, she still answered the call.

”Is this Xiao Qian?” On the other end, there was a female voice that sounded somewhat familiar.

”You are...”

”I am... Shen Xinyi, I hope I’m not disturbing you?” There was a hint of caution in the other party’s voice.

Shen Xinyi?!

Luo Xiaoqian was a bit surprised, ”No, I’m free right now, you... needed something?”

”Could you step aside for a moment? I’m not far from you, on your right side!”

Luo Xiaoqian turned her head and surely enough, she saw Shen Xinyi not far away, wearing a simple tracksuit and waving at her, with a large suitcase beside her.

”I’ll be right over!” After notifying Yu Tong, she quickly walked towards Shen Xinyi, ”Are you going on a trip?”

The incidents of the past were behind her. Luo Xiaoqian wasn’t one to hold on to sorrow, especially since the other party took the initiative to call her, which already showed a desire to make amends.

”I’m going abroad for further studies!” Shen Xinyi looked somewhat uneasy and nervous, ”I happened to see you, so I took the liberty of calling. Actually, I... I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you so much, Xiao Qian, thank you for forgiving me!”

Because of a moment of jealousy and impulse, Shen Xinyi was taken away and detained for a whole 36 hours by the police, which was an absolute dark time for her.

At the time, she was convinced that Luo Xiaoqian would never let her off the hook. The thought of possibly going to jail nearly made her cry her eyes out, filled only with regret. Later, when she heard that Luo Xiaoqian had withdrawn the charges, she could hardly believe it was true.

Only after her parents took her home did she learn that Luo Xiaoqian had truly not pursued the matter.

Having locked herself at home for ten whole days, Shen Xinyi was filled with remorse.

After all, she was just a young girl in her early twenties, not so scheming, it was just a moment of impulse that led to her actions.

”These days, I’ve been thinking about calling you to say thanks, but I never had the courage!” Shen Xinyi bit her lip and lifted her face, her eyes already brimming with tears she couldn’t hide, ”Xiao Qian, I’m sorry, I’m really sorry!”

”It’s all in the past!” Luo Xiaoqian took out a tissue from her bag, ”Besides, at that time, I targeted you as well.”

If it had been before, Shen Xinyi would have just thought she was ”pretending,” but now, she knew the girl in front of her was sincere.

”Thank you!” Taking the tissue handed to her and wiping her eyes, Shen Xinyi managed a teary smile, ”Thank you for giving me a chance, I won’t do anything foolish again, I wish you all the best in reaching even greater heights!”
